Wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy. Worthless. I had stopped by and was scheduling to drop off my truck for repairs. They wouldn't confirm my appointment, which was a couple months out UNTIL I had my insurance quote / estimate forwarded to them. Once they got that they confirmed the appointment for drop off. While I was in the office I said that I would also like to talk to someone about possibly fixing more on my truck than the insurance was covering since I had some additional items that could sure use some body work. They said, no problem, when you are here to drop off your vehicle you can talk with them at that time. The next day, I get the insurance quote information to them, and get a text message confirming my appointment date. So I arrive at my drop off date, and the girl at the front says ok great, they will be with you shortly. Well about 5 minutes later a guy walks up and says, so you are here for an estimate. I said, no, I already had an estimate from my insurance and I am here to drop off my truck for repair, but I would like to talk to someone about possibly getting additional work done. The guy was rude as F**K and said in a growling voice, well we will only do what is on the insurance quote. I said yes, but I would like to possibly have additional work done. He said again in the growling voice, well this is a customer pay then.. I said yes, for anything above the insurance quote.. However, he cut me off and said.. well it doesn't matter your only here for an estimate. I replied, no I'm here to drop off the vehicle for repairs. He said no estimate only. I asked them, why would I need an estimate on an insurance claim in which you forced me to provide their estimate and as you just stated, would only do the work on their estimate. In fact, you would NOT confirm my appointment until I provided you with the insurance estimate. At that point the girl at the front desk went silent. He left, to come back 15 minutes later, which was well past my appointment time to look at the vehicle and ultimately get my full estimate. Needless to say I will not be doing any work with them and I hope they feel solace in the fact that they just lost out of 12k of work. Even if he would have at some point said, hey, we may have booked this wrong I would have been in a totally different mindset. But being a D**K is hardly the way to sell your services to a customer. read more

Our new Telluride was damaged pretty extensively by a hail storm last year. Gerber Collision was able to get us in sooner than any other shop in town. We had continued communication with Heidi while waiting for our parts to arrive and she was very friendly and made sure to keep us updated along the way. They set a date with us to take it to the shop as soon as our parts would arrive. They kept us updated weekly on the repair process and the status of our vehicle. The original estimate for repair was near 45 days, but they were able to complete all of our repairs within 30 days just before our rental car was due back (they also returned our rental for us). Our vehicle looks brand new and you can't even tell it was in a hailstorm, they also detailed it before pickup which was an added bonus! I am currently pregnant and am expecting soon so it was such a blessing to get our vehicle back earlier than expected and in such great shape as our other vehicle does not do well in snow or hold a car seat. Gerber provided exceptional service all the way around and I would highly suggest them for any repairs you have! We truly felt like they cared about their customers. read more

Gerber worked on our vehicle after an accident and upon getting it back from them it was immediately leaking in our garage. Took it to the dealership and they told us that it was leaking from the transfer case and it appears someone worked directly on the section where the leak was coming from. Called gerber right away and they had us bring the car back and they promised they would fix it. Tried telling me that it was normal wear and tear (even though they worked on that section) after a few weeks and their manager David even lied to me telling me that they submitted it back to my insurance which they did not. Come to find out they took our car to the dealership for them to fix it (without telling us) and when they were told the price they just left with our car and gave it back to us. Fortunately for us, our dealership stood up for us with our insurance company and vouched that gerber screwed this up. When we picked our car back up from the dealership they said gerber just slammed the transfer case back together in a bad way and it was poorly fixed at best on their end. Moral of the story is they do shady things and lie to you. Sad that they don't stand behind their work. I'd never take another car here. For gerber, if you plan to screw future customers you probably shouldn't take the vehicle to the place that does the routine maintenance on it.... Fortunately for me, insurance paid for it and the dealership had our back and vouched for everything. read more

I recently went to the falcon Gerber body shop location for an estimate. The manager was very friendly and helpful. The staff was able to correct my damage to my vehicle without any charge. I was grateful for the awesome customer service and helpfulness of the staff. I would definitely recommend this location for future use. read more

We have used Falcon Auto Body several times in the past. They are now Gerber Collision. When they were Falcon Auto Body, we always had a good experience, great customer service, and great quality of work. Now that they are Gerber it appears things have changed. They seem to have lost their "home town" touch. It seems very corporate and cold. We went to get an estimate for a small dent on our car. In the past we could get an estimate w/o an appointment. This time we were told we needed to make an appointment, we understand that, but it is part of the whole picture of being different than it was. We already had 2 other estimates from places we were referred to, but since we had such good experiences in the past, we wanted to get an estimate from Falcon/Gerber. The estimate we got was over $1000 higher than the other two estimates we have! We were dumbfounded! Over $1000 higher than the other estimates, this is crazy! Always be sure to get more than one estimate!! read more

To start off, I am giving them an extra star just because I know the recent monster hailstorms in Colorado Springs have everyone scrambling for new windshields just as I am. I called on a Friday and was given an estimate and schedule for repair on the following Monday. I was told the tech would call first thing Monday morning to give us an ETA. "The techs usually get in about 9, so if you haven't heard anything by 11 let us know," I was told. Fair enough. Glass was reasonably priced and I was happy to get on the schedule so quickly. 11 am Monday: No call from the tech. Therefore, I called as requested. The young woman I talked too was nice enough, and said she would transfer me to the "ETA Department". After sitting on hold for a minimum of 5 minutes, she came back on and told me that nobody was answering in the ETA Department, but that she would have the tech call me. 2 pm Monday: Still no call from the tech. I called and got a young man on the line. No less than 10 minutes on hold this time. The young man told me he was communicating directly with the tech and that he would call me in 15 minutes as he was just finishing a job. 5 pm Monday: Third time on the phone today, just trying to get some answers. As I said at the beginning, I know windshields are in high demand right now. If you cannot get to me today, that is fine, just let me know. Do not just leave me hanging. The young woman I talked to this time said she was sorry and that she would do what she could to make it right. She said that someone had rescheduled us for Tuesday but had not bothered to call me. She made "notes in the system" and that someone would call first thing in the morning to get us going. I explained to her that my wife had put off working on Monday to accommodate getting the glass replaced, but that she had to be able to drive the car no later than noon. She said she would have the tech call first thing to set up a time. 11 am Tuesday: You guessed it. No phone call today either. This time my wife called the office. After 15 minutes on hold the tech called her and let her know, he would be there between noon and 5 pm. 3 pm Tuesday: Tech finally shows up and replaces the glass. He explained that due to the big storm, they cannot get the glass fast enough, and that they did not even have our windshield until Tuesday morning. I totally understand that. However, they should have done a MUCH better job of communicating that to us. Would I use Glass America again? Probably. However I would have service performed in the shop rather than have mobile service come to me. read more

I took my car in there on September 20th my insurance company pay the check out 2 days before. My truck arrived there to Gerber Collision. They didn't start work to two weeks later because they have to do a revamp on the car and they say they will not start work till get full for second payment then it turned around when the car was ready and I can't pick it up and i pay my deductible they telling me they didn't receive the first check so they hold my car hostage. I talk to my insurance company both checks was sent to the corporate office in Illinois but they still hold my car. I'm a contractor. I use my truck to work. Anyhow and then they finally released my truck without any apology. Bad BUSINESS!! shame shame on the two ladys that work there Valerie and Sara. read more

I've gone here when it was Falcon collision. I asked if they would be able to have my car done before Thanksgiving and they worked with my insurance company and delivered as promised. Car looked like new. Appreciate them getting car back to me. Otherwise I would have had rental car costs. Also liked they gave me text updates most every day to let me know how things were progressing. read more

I was involved in the last hail storm in early September 2018. I took it to Gerber as I had heard good things about them. September 2018 I talked with Val to scheduled it for January 14, 2019 for my truck to be worked on. That day I scheduled I had asked if I could get a quote on painting the rest of the truck on what the insurance would not cover. Val said " I can not give that to you as we don't know what that would be until we start working on the truck." I understood this completely. When I dropped it off to be fixed I again asked to call me with the quote when they find out what they are not painting. I got this response from Val " Oh God that going to be way to expensive and I did not schedule the time for that." I was tired of looking at the dents on my truck or I would have went someplace else if I didn't think it would take another 3 or 4 months to get it fixed. I then got a call about my tonneau cover that was damaged. The one on the truck was discontinued and want to know if the new one was ok, I had asked for the specs on the tonneau cover as I wanted to make sure it was comparable to the one I had. They could not give me but a website. Then they called me up and said my truck was done except the tonneau cover. I did not want to take my truck until completely finished, tonneau cover is on. I went to look at it anyway as they wanted to close the ticket out before end of the month, I am pretty sure they wanted paid on what they had done from my insurance. I went to look at the truck and Val is the person who did the walk thru with me and didn't go over what all they had done. She just let me look and made some comments, your windshield is factory. When I got to the drivers side fender I had noticed that there was some small rock chips and she commented on that the blender the paint on that fender and covered those up to help from rusting. I said ok. In my head I was kinda disappointed. Anyway I moved and looked at the truck some more and she had noticed I was looking at something pretty hard and mentioned that all that was painted is going to be shinier than the rest of the truck as it has new clear coat on in it. This is when I expressed my displeasure about the truck and why I had asked for a quote to paint the rest of the truck they did not paint. All of my conversation up to this point was with Val. She then tried to make it better by saying maybe a good polishing will help blend it. Polish only last so long, then I will notice the difference again. When my truck was complete and I went to pick it up I talked with Sarah the General Manager, I told her about what had happened and she said that she was sorry and if I wanted to stay for about 20 minutes that she could get me a quote. This is a big inconvenience for me to leave it another 2 or 3 weeks for them to paint what I wanted done in the first place. I had then noticed they had broken my front emblem and she replaced it but had to order it. The day I went in to get the emblem replaced I had noticed on my roof that the workmanship is under par. And I believe that I had weather stripping on the roof, but was told about the weather stripping if you can prove it they will put it on, or if I find it and the insurance agrees to pay for it they will put it on. Sarah said the only thing they can do is to take the truck for 2 days and put a self leveling sealant on it, what my mind says is they are just covering up poor workmanship. They used salvage parts on my truck that I was not aware of. I had asked to all the receipts for my records and still have not gotten. This is what is written on their wall when you first walk in.
