Great company, great job! Too bad my car was totaled less than a month after I had the work done

Incredibly accommodating (my rental car company reneged on picking me up when I dropped of my car, and when they heard I was going to Uber over there to pick up a rental, James actually gave me a ride to Hertz). My car looked perfect when I picked it up, and they were a week earlier than they initially estimated. They kept me updated on everything from the insurance process to the progress on the repair. Had a scrape and small dents in a rear panel that collision repair was estimated at $3000. James and his folks estimated $725 and approximately 70% repair. It was done in just over a day and scheduled within two days. Body shop would have taken much longer and about a 3 month wait to schedule. Very professional and excellent customer service by Michaela and James. The dents are hardly noticeable at all and the scrapes were able to be buffed and polished out. Super job. Durability of their work is completely lacking and sub-par. See pictures. Of course they have every excuse in the book on why they won't stand behind it. He got super butt hurt I made a 1 Star review to begin with and refuses to try and save the situation. But go ahead and reply to this review, I'm sure you got more excuses like all the times you you couldn't explain to my insurance why your work took weeks longer than the quoted adjustment; weeks I was verbally assured had paper documentation on back ordered parts so my rental car would be covered. When push came to shove they couldn't produce those documents and wound up costing me an additional $395 in rental car usage. read more

James the owner took care of me with 100 percent professionalism!!! He took care of my custom Harley Davison motorcycle. The front fender had The headlight bezel dropped on it. I took it to him and an hour and a half later the fender was completely repaired and you could not notice any damage to it. I highly recommend The Ding Guy!!! read more

Jake from 1-800-DING-GUY was awesome. I couldn't understand why he'd use a tool and a hammer to tap on a dent, I mean - wouldn't that dent it further? He was gracious enough to give me a simple lesson in the steps he takes to remove a dent. After about 25 minutes I thought my wife's car looked great, but he continued on for another 20 minutes until it was perfect. I'll probably hit up Jake to fix the terrible door ding that some jerk at Target put in my car. read more

Car left in as bad a shape as it went in! Now I have to pay more money to fix the whole door & paint the whole door, what seemed to be a simple PDR! They used to much heat and bubbled my paint job! Horrible! They offered to fix the door and paint it, for a price, but why give them the chance to screw it up again? read more

So my girlfriend when to get her car done they where super nice and fixed it up real nice re painted the front bumper then after two months the paint chipped so bad I told her to take it back in once we did they said no problem they would fix it and we thought it would be all good ..... However they used the autozone special paint marker and "filled " the chips that ended up looking horrible once we confronted the owner about the quality of work he was super rude and said that he would not fix it and asked what would make us happy so I told him to fix the chips or re paint the bumper and he said no he wouldn't do that then was super rude we payed 700.00 on it and got a horrible quality of work I recommend this to NO ONE there quality of work is horrific!!! I took my truck in after backing into a tree (long story) and scraping up my side along with a few dents. Everyone I dealt with was extremely nice and helpful. I got my estimate and decided to let them do the work. It came back pretty good. My only complaint would be the clear coat looked like it was applied with a paint brush very sloppy. The dent came out awesome. Pretty freaking expensive but that's to be expected at any body shop. I payed out of pocket so it hurt a little more. I would go back but take more time checking out the work. They gave me every chance to do so buy the way, I was just ready to be done with the whole thing. read more

A nightmare from the word go. Last year I had great service and a professional helping me. This year I get Mr Clueless. My car is now all messed up. They cracked the paint and "sent it out" to be worked on. The paint work is horrendous and I was told that I know nothing about modern paint. Chips, overspray, the base coat did not lay down so it looks textured under the clear. Both my sun-visor clips fell out on the way home, my hood pad is installed incorrectly, my hood vents were installed backwards and one fell out on the way home, missing clips in the trunk, clips that were replaced are incorrect, hood as damage from the PDR that was never corrected. All this for only $5K they charged. I have plenty of pictures to back me up on this. Never again. read more

Used this shop for hail damage to my son's vehicle. They are great! Easy to find, friendly staff and excellent customer service. I stopped by their shop 5 minutes to close when my son received his appraisal and the owner gave us his full attention. He offered to set up the appointment sooner than anticipated. The work was excellent. Very nice accommodations in waiting room. After the repair, we had some clips that needed to be refastened so we stopped by unannounced like 2-3 weeks later. They were busy but the owner still took the time to come out to car and snapped in clips for me and addressed another issue without any qualms. I used The Ding Guy to have my car repaired from the hail damage. From the beginning to the end of the process this shop kept me up on what was happening with my car and the insurance company. Well where do we start. They said they could handle a collision repair on a Jeep. Took them almost two months for a $7000 repair. The insurance said it should of took them under 30 days. They admitted they fell behind. So after we got our car back, same day, there was grinding noise coming from the accident side, wind coming in from the windshield, the heater didn't work. They said we should take it to the dealership!! Not back to them. Crazy enough vehicle still under bumper to bumper; the dealership fixed things RELATED to the accident just to do us a favor. BUT the shop also missed the door alignment. So now wind coming in from the corner of the door (accident side). And the body shop keeps saying they need to get ahold of the adjuster to do any further work to it. Overall the customer service has been horrible. Every time they said they would call, they never did. They have an excuse for EVERYTHING. No accountability. This place isn't for collision repairs. STAY AWAY! Maybe the name describes what they're good at, easy DINGS. read more
