This shop amazes me. Who wants to have to sit in an auto body place and have a dent repaired? Well, maybe I do. They treated me like I was family. The place is so clean and comfortable. They could not have been more kind and gracious. A dreaded visit actually became the highlight of my day (or at least close). Stuart had quoted me a price online from a photo and told me he could most likely work me in same day. I can't believe having a dent on a car could lead to the best auto technician experience I've had thus far. I was having a super crappy day-locked the keys in the trunk, an SUV from Missouri dented the side of my car, and then...the Starbucks cup exploded in my lap and all over the brand new leather upholstery. Roadside assistance was called and the trunk was popped open, many calls were placed and estimates were given for the 1/4 inch dent on the side of the car door and Maguires leather cleaner was bought on the fly at O' Reilly's for the 2 hours of hell the poor car went through. My stress levels were through the roof, the weekend was approaching and I didn't want to take the car all the way back to the dealer in case there was a tiny chance the body shop could someone pop it back out so I sent a few emails, made a few calls and waited patiently for people to get back to me with quotes as I just stared at the dent for two days. One by one I checked off PDR places for various reasons. One shop quoted $150 and 1.5 hours to pound it out, another had no appointment slots available, another had no receptionist answer the phone at all over a two day span, and I just had no faith in them all until I gave Stu a call. He answered right away, told me to come in anytime and sounded reasonably confident. Funny enough, when I drove up for my estimate he was next door getting a tattoo touched up. There was sign on the door saying "I'm next door at the tattoo shop. Come on by and say 'hi'." I thought he was one of the guys watching people getting tatted up-not the person in the chair. Ha! I was sort of touched that he insisted on getting out of the chair to take a look at the damage. It's a pain in the butt to adjust yourself and let that adrenaline leave your body for a moment and I was especially touched by his gesture. Stu was quick and to the point and did not give me the run around like the other shops. His estimate was 75% less than his competitors and I felt like he was certainly more confident about what he could and couldn't do. I hate hearing "well, we might be able to fix that but it's a crease so it may be more than what we've estimated." The other places were sure out to nickel and dime me but I didn't get that feeling here. I came back the next day for my appointment and was greeted by Stu immediately and offered coffee and pop right away while he took my car back ('cause I forgot to park in the back like a dork). I was quite taken aback by how homey, comfy and relaxing his shop was. There was a nice little fireplace by the wall, plants scattered here and there, a squishy leather couch next to a Harley, and very neat arrangements of books and magazines. I felt like I was in someone's actual home and was reluctant to get up after just 12 minutes when my car was completed and parked back in front. My car looked brand new again and it only took 12 minutes! And he took the time to help two guys who were helping a lady with a dead battery. I don't how Stu did it but he certainly ran circles around the guys at the other shops and I am absolutely flabbergasted and grateful. I hope I never have to come back but if I'm unfortunate enough to have another giant SUV attack me again, I know where to go for help. read more

My car had major hail damage from the storm that hit downtown in May; I hadn't even owned it for a year, and it was my first brand new car! I was devastated, but Stuart made my car look brand new. And not only that, but he helped deal with the rental car company, took care of all the insurance matters, and even offered me an old fashioned soda when I dropped the car off. There was big hailstorm back in August and I stumbled upon this shop to help fix the dents. At first I was very skeptical, we all know how auto-related places are sometimes. My insurance company told me I had to first get a quote for the damage at a certain shop before I could go to a third party shop to get the work done, but from this shop I was told otherwise. So as a leap of faith I went with them. And I am so glad that I did. I dropped off my car during my lunch break, and when I got there, I was greeted by the coolest looking interior of an auto place and the most awesome dude, his name was Stu. I walk in, and he says "You must be Rick!" and he had all the paperwork ready to be put in a rental and to begin work knowing I was in a hurry. And sure enough they got a field agent to come and assess the damage, which saved me a trip!! I was out of there in 10 minutes, and that was even including some small talk I had with him. They even threw in a free detail! Throughout the entire process they were always very responsive to my calls for updates, and made me feel assured that everything was okay. I went by and needed to pick up some of my belongings halfway through the process, and was able to watch them at work on my car. I couldn't believe the TLC that was spent on my car. These people run a respectable business and take so much pride in what they do. I have no fear of hail damage anymore in the Springs because I know that this is a place that I can go to and trust to get the work done right the first time around. Drive by here everyday and saw great reviews, so I took my car in to see about repairing a couple of dents. They did not disappoint! While I waited maybe 30 minutes at the most, they had me look at the car after they worked their magic and it was perfect - no sign of a dent anywhere. I had touch-up paint in the car and they even went around and touched up those little places that get dinged and it looks absolutely beautiful. I had a terrific experience at Dent Works. I accidentally backed my lawn tractor into my BMW X3 leaving a 14 inch crease in my door. Fortunately the handle on the tractor was plastic so it only dented the door and did not break the paint. I took it to Dent Works and they got the dent out in one morning and the work was flawless. I am very particular and, as hard as I look, I cannot see where the dent was. I was so happy, I left my M3 with them to get a couple of small nagging dings out. I was very, very happy with my overall experience here. Stuart is a real stand-up guy and provided us with an awesome price. He took the time to talk us through what issues he saw and even provided us with honest advice on what he would get repaired based on obviousness. My Subaru WRX had significant hail damage over most of the car, and Dent Works was able to restore it to factory new condition without re-painting, sanding or body fill. We had some minor damage to the roof of our car caused by a garage door fault that tore the fin antenna off the roof. This left a dent across the width of the roof and all around where the antenna had been. DW gave us a bid that made me nervous, less than half of others I had received. On top of the damages caused by the door, DW removed some hail damage as well. After the repair, it is hard to tell anything was ever damaged on the car. He was an absolute professional and I have nothing but praise for this business. The work that he did no my car is as good as it gets. My car was badly damaged in the May hail storm. I decided to use Dent Works mainly from the Yelp reviews. When I dropped my car off I was told it would be ready in 5-8 days. I figured a week and a half considering the weekends. I was not able to pick up my car for 2 1/2 weeks. After receiving my car I found that there were dents that were missed and many of the body parts were re-installed incorrectly, also there were scratches to the roof and spoiler. The owner Stuart was out of town when I first picked my car up, and he told me that was why it wasn't right. The second time I brought it back they fixed the scratches and one of the interior pieces, which I'm happy with. They still needed parts to finish the dents and the re-installation of body parts so I had to bring it in a third time. I just got the car back and it's still not right. Stuart told me they went through and fixed everything they could find. One of the seals in the hood was on backward and was obviously not fitted correctly and when I inspected my trunk interior a piece fell off that was broken. I'm going to fix the rest on my own rather than continuing to waste my time with this shop. They seem like nice people but I would not recommend them or bring my car back to them. I gave three stars only because they were not hard to deal with, but the workmanship and attention to detail was not very good and I had to go out of my way to keep bringing my car back. read more
