Had to wait 6 weeks to get my car. I had to call and wait for replies on status. When I picked it up I had to point out that there were pieces that were on the estimate that were not replaced on the car. They had them, and installed them. Also pointed out that the car was damaged, and per their before pictures, show the damage wasn't there when i dropped it off. They said they didn't do it, could have been another customer in the parking lot. They said the would "Help" but not properly fix the damage. Then proceeded to blame it on me for dropping the car off dirty. Won't be going back. If you go, make sure you have good documentation of the condition of your car when you leave it. read more

I have never had a body shop do paint work right the first time and go above and beyond what I expected them to do. The entire team from receptionist, estimator, owner and his wife are top notch and took incredible care of me by repairing my car so it looks as good, if not better, than new! Skip the corporate monstrosities that have bought out many of the local body shops and turned them into fast food "McDonalds" auto body shops; instead seriously consider this locally owned business for your auto body needs. No, you will not need to wait a month to schedule an appointment for an estimate (Caliber did) No, you will not have to wait another 2 months after your estimate to get the repair started. (Guess the corporate shop) No, you won't be treated like another cog in the wheel and your patronage will be valued. No, they didn't misplace my car. Nope, no missing key rings. Nope, no annoying emails asking for a review. No, they won't laugh at you for owning a Hyundai or perhaps they were courteous enough to wait till I left? Yes, the paint will match. (Read my another review to see which body shop in town can't match paint) Yes, they will remember your name but then again that might be cuz I can be an arsehole due to bad experiences in the past. Yes, the owner is proud of his shop and won't be insulted if you ask for a tour and ask to see some of his completed paint and body work. We received an estimate for a minor spoiler repair and AFTER the repair was in the paint booth, I got a call and was told the cost to repair the spoiler was going to be higher than the estimate, because they found they had to remove an additional panel they didn't first anticipate. I understand this was only an estimate but a quality body shop should know what it takes to remove a rear spoiler and include that in the estimate. We have used this shop 3 times for cash repairs in the past 18 months and it's a shame they have forever lost our business over $40, which was something they should have known better to include in the original estimate. My Subaru Legacy was hit in rear by another driver, who fortunately stayed at scene until I came back, to exchange insurance info. I had a good experience with Tri-Lakes Collision repairing a front fender 5 years ago, so chose to return to TLC. I was not disappointed...from check in to pick-up, the staff (Brad, Gina, and Stephanie) were professional, efficient, explained the process of dealing with other driver's insurance (they were very familiar with that insurance company procedures). I received emails almost every day, updating me about the car status, during the week the car was in their facility. They even washed and polished the car. The replacement fender and trunk were painted a perfect match color. The repair occurred during "safer at home" stage of COVID-19, and staff were wearing masks, distancing, washing hands. All in All, I had an excellent experience and highly recommend them! read more

I noticed that my rear bumper that had some how become dislodged from it's clips and was slightly hanging. I brought it to Tri-Lakes Collision, I can't remember the gentleman's name that helped me but he quickly took my car back to look at it. With in 20 minutes they had it back to me, they had reset my rear bumper into it's clips perfectly. They didn't charge me anything for my visit. This is my second time working with this company. Both experiences have been great. I really appreciate their help and the staff there is wonderful and friendly. First time I've used them and I am very impressed. They were very courteous, professional and communicated with me throughout the process. To replace our bumper on our Suburban, I was quoted a little over $1000 for an aftermarket bumper. They said to drop off on Monday and pick up on Thursday. I dropped off and they called me a day later and told me there was an additional bracket needing replaced and it was only $50 or so and said they found an OEM bumper even cheaper than the aftermarket. After all was said and done, I paid less than $1000 for all the work, they were done ON TIME, and washed and cleaned the inside of the car!!! It's hard enough to get people to stick to schedules, let alone do it CHEAPER and offer great customer service!!! I'll definitely use again!!! read more

At Tri-Lakes Collision the two ladies at the front desk were both friendly and courteous. When we met with Brad he explained their process in detail. The estimate we received from Tri-Lakes was meticulous, detailed. Clearly professionals were going to restore my car and not miss anything. They also advocated on our behalf with the insurance company to ensure all issues were addressed. They got me in with an estimate the same day in a reasonable time. The estimate was a bit low, which was frustrating. The turnaround time for fixing our vehicle was consistent with what we expected and other places predicted. The cost was also similar. The people I spoke with were always friendly and helpful. Brad and company did an amazing job getting our Chevy Suburban up and running in three days. We were involved in an accident where a semi blew a tire and I could not avoid it which tore up the front end of our vehicle. Worst service in the history of service. We took our car in to get the bumper replaced. Suzy took pictures and was supposed to get back to me the next day. No one got back to me so on day 4 I called and talked to Bill, the owner. Bill said he would take care of it but failed to for 2 weeks. By then the insurance company was getting antsy and told me Bill didnt have pictures. I called Bill and asked where the pictures were and he didnt have them but he could get me in to get pictures taken. Really? A waste of 2 weeks and not the least bit apologetic. Dont go here unless you want bad service and slow repairs. read more

I have had to take my car in twice in the last year, and both times, my car has been returned to me in a condition better than it was in when I bought it. This past visit was half a week shorter than anticipated, and they had taken care of a few other minor issues I'd been having (they replaced my right blinker, which apparently had burned out, and cleaned up the pumpkin puree that I had spilled all over my floor mat many weeks back). In addition, the customer service has always been excellent. I can't imagine a better experience after getting rear-ended, and will never go elsewhere for future repairs. Thank you! read more

Although I had taken our cars here for years for various auto body repairs being very happy, it is no longer on my Insurance company's list of shops. Now I know why. Not only did my repair take a month and over $4000 more than the Insurance company's estimate of $2000, I was never contacted regarding the extended time and expense. I had been told it would take about a week. I had to call for any and all updates over the entire period. When we picked up the vehicle it was stuck in low gear with the dashboard beeping and blinking. The passenger floor mat was also missing. These issues were resolved but not the loud noise coming from the vehicle! I was then told by TriLakes that the power steering pump was out and that they noticed this when we dropped the vehicle off. We had never been told this and there was no engine trouble when we dropped it off and told them so. TriLakes then said they would submit another claim of $900+ for the pump. With all that had happened, we elected to take the vehicle to our local mechanic. We were told the pump had been reconnected incorrectly, a new power steering pump wasn't needed! This had been done by TriLakes Collision during the repair of front body work. In the interim the Insurance company paid TriLakes the $900! This was a disappointing and stressful experience. On the up side the body work looks good. You may wish to research other body shops in the area. read more

If I could give less than one star I would. Ever since this company has gone under new ownership it has been horrific. I was involved in an unfortunate hit and run, after confirming with my insurance company we decided to take my car to tri lakes collision. After dealing with the unprofessionalism of just the general inspection we decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and allow them to do the repairs despite the attitude we received in the beginning. After bringing my car in, they said they'll "get to it when they get to it" after having my car for 3 weeks, they misplaced my car. After dealing with the unprofessionalism of towing my car, to get more money out of the insurance company, we still don't have the car back, and are working long and hard to make sure we do not have to deal with this company any longer. Nope! I was referred here by my insurance broker. The car came out body wise very nice, if only they had reassembled it! My wife picked it up,said the radio wasnt working well so I looked at the antenna cable which was not connected. Two days later I drove it to get gas for a trip, headlights and front signals not connected, bumper not fastened to the quarter panels under the wheel well moldings, rear bumper not fastened properly, rear parking sensors not connected, and now my wife says the trunk is not closing properly which means they probably didnt properly torque the hatch bolts. Each time they say "Bring it back, we will fix it" the problem is, they are 30 minutes away and I sit for 45 minutes while they "fix" it. Proper checks are not in place before releasing the car to the customer! read more

Even worse - they blocked off my phone number to ensure they won't be bothered. Just shows what their focus is - to get the money, and forget about customer and warranty later.
