Brought my vehicle here for a quote on MINOR scratching on the bumper of my new car. I had explained that I had valet parked my vehicle and not only received a damaged vehicle back, but was also stuck with the repair bill. I was actually in disbelief about the legality of the situation, and had to do some research involving valet parking companies - but sure enough most have a legal disclaimers that protects regardless of fault. Regardless, it was a small scratch on the front bumper and I was getting quotes from local places. BumperDoc quoted me $800+ to repaint (no body damage) the scratches on the bumper. Something didn't seem right to me, and I took it elsewhere. I ended up getting multiple other quotes for $200-$300 at reputable collision places. I thought it was weird that this place tried to take advantage of us, especially based on other good reviews and the personal feel. The worker even tried to quote me on repairing one of my curb rash wheels on the vehicle for $175 each. I was unsure at the time, but later I found out that the going rate for repair is $50-$100 on minor curb rash. I honestly felt like the employee was trying to take advantage for whatever reason. Maybe our car being a 2017, and is moderately expensive could had something to do with it - but that doesn't mean I am willing to throw away money. Especially in an unfortunate situation, such as the irresponsible valet. read more

alright an UPDATE for y'all: 1. today (08/03/19) i arrived for my rescheduled interior detailing appointment at 9 am 2. staff helped me right away.. 3. i stayed in shop and waited for my car 4. they did not charge me the $30 for pet hair (due to all the issues in my original review) 5. my car was finished at about 12:50 pm 6. the interior was much cleaner than when i brought it in.. almost no pet hair 7. only 2 stars today due to the ~ 4 hours and all the issues in my original review i advise you to communicate THOROUGHLY with staff and if possible, have a friend or family member pick you up so you don't have to wait for the duration of the appointment read more

In my continual hunt to find someone that will do a decent job at a decent price for auto body work, I thought I would try out BumperDoc. Yes, it is true I have lots of issues (general statement along with a statement about cars) and need auto body work way more often than I should. I have tried a number of placed in the Springs and have always felt that they charged too much for the work they are doing or I was left unsatisfied with the lower cost quotes that I have received. Enter BumperDoc (play theme music). I had a car with decent damage that I just wanted to replace the hood and make it driveable again. Simple, but I was expecting them to play games with the quotes and charge me way more $$ than what I wanted. Turned out they quoted just what I wanted. Amazing. They were friendly the entire time and sent a quote in writing. For the quality of the work, they fixed the car quickly and it is driveable again. As a bonus I can pop the hood again. Excellent customer service. Both the owner and his staff are very attentive. I had $9000worth of hail damage in the car looks brand-new after completing the repairs. REPAIR UPDATE: After receiving my truck back I had 3 problems with the final product; I had a window seal that needed new parts ordered and re-repaired. My front bumper was a bit misaligned (fix scheduled) and I have a roof water leak on the driver's side with the sound of air rushing in at highway speeds (I have to tarp my truck outside right now). I have asked BumperDoc for corrections. They've been very attentive but I will update once ALL repairs are completed. FINAL UPDATE: Art (owner) and Casey worked diligently to correct all of the items above. They put me in a very acceptable rental and would not even consider giving my truck back until it was 100% corrected. When I received my truck back, Art had washed & waxed the vehicle himself. Everything was corrected and I am now very pleased. We walked around the vehicle together and the pride in their work was obvious. EXCELLENT SERVICE: I found BumperDoc via internet search. My front bumper was hanging on one side, as the clips were no longer holding it up & the bolts stripped. Plus, a piece of the metal "framing"(?) inside was hanging down & catching my tire. I was concerned that my tire would puncture, which are newer tires. Also, I was more concerned the metal would fly off causing a traffic accident. My car is old ('98 Subaru) & nothing pretty to look at, as it's practical & still a good car in that sense. However, I'm on very limited funds & was concerned of what this would cost me. BumperDoc happened to be open on Saturday where most other places were not. They closed at 3 pm & I arrived at 2:30 pm thinking I would just get an estimate. However, when they told me they could fix it for under $50 - I asked if it could be done at that time. To my surprise, they did do this. There was only 2 people (Arte - one of the owners - pronounced "Artay") & her "body man" (Aaron - sorry I forgot your title). I know it was the end of their work day & they were probably ready to get home. However, they both took the time to take care of my car. Even after 3 pm came & went Aaron stayed after to do one last little thing I asked, which was to add another bolt from the outside to hold the bumper down more ...again, wasn't looking for pretty just practical & most of all SAFE TO DRIVE! So Aaron did do this for me & it didn't look bad at all ...you can barely tell there's an extra bolt there. I had some previous damage from an incident that took place years ago on my passenger side, which effects both doors & the entire panels. I asked Arte if she could just give me an estimate (more curious than anything). Again, it's still Saturday, still after they officially closed & yet she still took time to take PICS of the doors with the promise to email me the estimate that following Monday. She was true to her word, as I received the email that Monday. She even tried to look for after-market parts, at my request, to help save on cost. Unfortunately, at this time, I'm still not in a financial position to get the doors repaired. However, when/if I do, I'll definitely return to this place for their quality of service in going above & beyond (without complaining). Thanks Arte & Aaron for making me feel safe again in my car. Dear Reader, While traveling through Colorado Springs in December, 2017, I had a freak accident, damaging the passenger-side "A Pillar" in my Subaru. (This is the metal bar that connects roof to frame and holds the windshield in place.) Bummer. I turned to Yelp to find a place to take my car - this was at 5:00 a.m. on a Sunday! Based on the reviews I read here, BumperDoc was the clear winner. My car was drivable, but only to get it to BumperDoc, where I left it in their parking lot. I slipped my key under the door, along with my contact information, and I left a message on their voicemail. Arte, Brando, and expert team called me promptly Monday morning, acknowledging receipt of my car and promising a quick diagnosis. I got a second call from them later that day letting me know that although seemingly minor, the damage to my car was probably just enough to require major body work (roof replacement, repair frame damage). Because this was outside their normal scope of service, they gave me a referral to a reputable collision specialist for a second opinion. For the day or two it took me to me to confirm BumperDoc's initial diagnosis, and to arrange for vehicle towing with AAA, BumperDoc kept my car safe and stored it on site as if they owned it themselves. Long story short, it wasn't worth it to repair the car (2007 Outback Sport, 169,804 miles), and I ended up buying a 2017 Legacy. The point of my post is BumperDoc literally gave me nothing but service, expert, selfless, professional service. It is beyond refreshing to know there are businesses out there who still understand exactly how important service is, and demonstrate that understanding through their actions. Called 3 weeks in advance to get a Monday appointment (no work backlog). Called the Friday before to confirm Monday appointment. Dropped the vehicle off at 730am Monday and was told that it would be ready on Wednesday but probably Tuesday. Called Tuesday at noon and was told it would be done on Wednesday. Called Wednesday at noon and was told they had not even started the work. Finally finished Thursday at closing - they forgot to attach the front license plate and wax the vehicle as requested. I would prefer to give zero stars but that is not an option! Estimate and pricing did not match among other things. We took the car in for an estimate and scheduled a time to bring our car back in for service. When we brought the car in for service the serviceman became irate that he needed the insurance estimate. We foolishly hand this over to him thinking he was there to "help" us. When we went to pick up our car, which also two days longer than when we were told our car would be ready, all the sudden our bill was nearly $500.00 OVER Bumper Docs own estimate! And, big surprise, the bill all of the sudden was TO THE PENNY... the same as the insurance estimate. Whatever you do...Don't go here. Very unethical business! read more

So I'm assuming there's a cadre of family & friends leaving these reviews because their work is a joke! We gave them two attempts to repair a minor front end collision repair. First attempt, didn't get the bumper, the fenders and the hood in proper alignment. In other words, the gaps were inconsistent...too wide in some places to narrow in others. They also failed to bolt the wheel liners to the fenders and the bumpers after putting it back together. Moreover, they reused the mangled front license plate holder. When I went to pick up the vehicle After their second attempt, the bumper has scratches in at least five different locations! I also noticed overspray that I had missed the first time and the same mangled license plate holder. I never haggled over the price and they had the vehicle for basically three weeks to get it right. If I could give them zero stars I would and by all means find a different shop that actually cares about quality and customer satisfaction read more

They cleaned up almost 5 years of Lab fur that had collected in every nook and cranny of my car and made it look and smell better than the day I bought it. Had a 2005 Honda Odyssey completely detailed in July 2015 ($250.) Overall, I am pleased with the way the van turned out. The exterior looks great - the van was waxed, the front is bug free, and the tires and windows look great. The leather and vinyl on the inside is clean and shiny. Having never had a detail, I thought that surface scratches would have been eliminated. I thought a rubbing compound would have been used on some of the areas, but that doesn't appear to be the case. I didn't point them all out, but did point out some scuff marks on the back of the mirror, which got removed by using some paint thinner and some cleaner. Now on to the negatives... Before I left the lot, I inspected the vehicle. Kevin was very accommodating in addressing all the areas I pointed out to him which I appreciated. I don't know if I had higher expectations, or this was just a "quick job" and the attention to detail was lacking. Maybe the vehicles are cleaned inside and things aren't seen in that lighting like when it's outside? Here are a few observations: 1. I had pointed out (when I dropped off the vehicle) blue dye from blue jeans on the front seat. It was obvious an attempt was made to clean the seat - which I appreciated - but there were steaks (which Kevin easily removed when I pointed them out to him.) 2. There were streaks on the inside door panel (Kevin said they were water) which easily came off. 3. Honda Odysey's have rear grab handles on the backs of each of the seats. It was obvious that they weren't touched. Kevin was able to remove the dirt from all four handles. 4. There were stains on the carpet - which Kevin was able to remove. 5. When I got home, I took the floor mats out of the trunk (they were still wet, and it was advised not to use them until they were dry.) Most of the mats looked fine - but they should have because I actually keep "Walmart cheap throw rugs" in the rear and trunk so I can toss the rugs in the washer/dryer. I had previously cleaned my mats with a Bissell portable cleaner, so I know how clean the mats can get. The driver's side mat was still dirty, as evidenced by me rubbing a white rag over the area and having the rag pick up dirt. I suspect that a wet cleaner was used on the mats, but the moisture was not sucked out so the dirty water stayed in the mat. So, overall, I am happy with my clean van, but was disappointed that it wasn't perfectly clean. Unrealistic expectations? I don't know. I think for $250, I shouldn't have to point out areas that got missed, or have floor mats that still looked dirty. This being said, I did speak to Art, the manager, who offered to come to my house to pick up and re-clean the mat in question. I declined his offer because I had already gotten the stains out by using a wet cloth and some elbow grease. He then offered a complimentary car wash. And, I just might take him up on that offer! Would I recommend Bumper Doc - probably - if I knew the person didn't expect perfection. I have to say that their customer service is excellent! Kevin was very cheerful and accommodating to my pointing out areas in question, and Art was nice when I called him. read more

First, we had our 2015 Prius detailed. This job was done to a "pretty good" standard and at a quite good price. There was a chocolate protein shake stain that was not totally removed--this is understandable given that chocolate stains thoroughly. However, the detailer totally missed the seams in the dash console; visible dirt remained. (Solved by me, a Q-tip, and Lysol kitchen cleaner.) Moreover, the detailer missed spilled beverage in the cupholders. However, all things considered, we were comfortable with bringing our next car in for a detailing. (Of note: I thought the people/office was very customer-friendly, courteous, and helpful.) The detailing on the minivan, however, is the worst detailing job I have yet seen. I dropped the car off at 8:15 for a full interior/exterior for $255. Upon initial inspection, Art noted the vehicle was "not too bad"--no pet hair nor other egregious mess, just the typical kid-crumbs/dirt, etc. "We've seen much worse," he said. Per BumperDoc direction I returned at 3 pm. I went out with Arte to do the inspection. Arte was first to see that there remained splatted yellow (mustard? applesauce?) on the back of the passenger captain seat; this obvious splatter (upon a plastic surface--easy to clean) was completely missed by the detailer. Naturally, this enormous oversight triggered my suspicion. The seat belts had much "grime" on them as well. I pointed this out and Art first tried to tell me that seat belts cannot be cleaned. I noted that in my research, many detailing companies showed "before & after" pictures of seatbelts. He then sprayed the seat belt with what he assured me was degreaser, scrubbed a bit, and declared it uncleanable. I said, "Let me try." Art then explained that people smoke in a car and (by some form of illogic that I still do not follow) this renders seatbelts perpetually grimy. (The previous owners were NOT smokers, and it's highly unlikely that children sitting in the third seat in a mini-van are going to light up. This story by Art was a last-ditch attempt at blame-shifting. I find this very irresponsible; best to just admit when one is wrong/needs to make something right.) The driver's steering column/console still had visible dust in the larger cracks; it had not even been touched. The center console evidently had also not even been run over with a wet cloth--still had dirt/dust (easily visible w/naked eye) all along the edges. Grime on the captain's seats, grime on the seatbelt connectors (the oily/ dirt-infused grime that lingers if not removed). Then upon exterior inspection, the lower foot-boards still had dirt residue--looks like someone just did a once-over with a wet cloth. To be fair, Arte and Art were very apologetic and did put forth good effort to fix these obvious oversights. I drove the car home. At my first stop, I noticed that there still remained actual damp dirt/mud cake pieces on the floor, surrounding the driver left foot-rest. (No, this was not from my shoe.) This dirt would have been EASILY removed by a simple vacuum/air compressor. Ironically, these damp dirt chunks were right next to the plastic disposable post-detailing foot "mats" that read "We take pride in your vehicle." Evidently not--pride in a job well done does not leave obvious mud chunks remaining! The worst was when I got home. My husband lifted up the third seat (mini-van: third seat stows). We saw a complete mess! Popcorn! Detritus! Pieces of plastic from food containers! The detailer had not even bothered to lift the third seat, which means he also did not bother to clean and condition the leather on that seat, an explicitly-listed included item in the detailing. We called BumperDocs. We either wanted the detailing made right, or a monetary refund. To be fair, Arte was very apologetic and promised/eager to make it right. So, we are bringing the minivan in tomorrow. Hopefully, this situation will be resolved. To be fair, I would like to note, that while this detailing job was absolutely unacceptable, Art, Arte, and the staff I met (with the first detailing job) were very helpful, customer-friendly, and I have only good things to say about the service. (....well, except for the actual service of detailing.) Also, Art did mention that they are short on staff, and, as I am very sympathetic to small business--I understand it's hard to find good help. Perhaps their detailer who did our van was just a bad-apple anomaly. I will follow up tomorrow after the correcting-detail. Update: I returned for a re-clean. In 2 hours Arte and a detailer did clean quite thoroughly. Bummer that I had to come back (and necessarily coordinate work/child-care). However, they did "make it right" and good customer service goes a long way. Would BumperDocs be a good place to go for a detailing? I leave that to the reader's judgement. read more
