I visited this shop today in an effort to get a simple quote for a cash repair on my vehicle. The…read moreguy sitting at the front desk, behind the counter could not have been less interested in my business. I have a golf ball size dent just below the door on the passenger side of my vehicle. It does not effect the operation of the vehicle or any moving parts....its just ugly. I took time out of my day, to drive it up there for a quick quote. The guy said he had too many quotes to enter in today, and asked if I could bring it back tomorrow. I explained I could not, and tried to relay, this was not a "smashed" car, just rather a cosmetic deal. He then said for me to bring it back Wednesday, cause he had too many to enter today. He never got out of his seat, never asked for my contact information so HE could follow up with ME. He instead tried to give me a homework assignment of extra tasks I could do to try to give him my business.....at that point I already had my answer. What is he "had too many to enter" next time I brought it by....no worries....I won't be back by. Conversely, I did the same at Crestview Paint and Body, and received excellent information and an instant estimate on the repair. The rep there was genuinely interested in doing the repair and my business. I don't care if they charge twice as much, I'll take that over "bring it back some other day" any day.

Shannon sent a tow, stooped everything he was doing in the garage, sent a few guys to the auto parts store, replaced a drive belt and wheel, all in under an hour. Then, when presented a bill he said all we owed to him was $63 for the parts. He refused to take extra money for the tow, labor, anything. My four kids ran around his shop giving treats to his dogs while we waited too - they didn't mind at all. Then, to our complete surprise, that night after arriving in Destin my phone rings and who is it....? Shannon himself calling to check in and make sure we got to our spring break destination!! Being from Wisconsin we know what "Wisconsin Nice" is and if I didn't know Shannon was from Alabama I would've bet he was from Wisconsin. Our experience was 5+ stars all the way.
