The salsa seemed house-made, the guacamole tasted freshly prepared, and the overall meal had that same made-from-scratch quality rather than feeling assembled from premade components. The birria is delicious and the most authentic I have had so far in any restaurant in the states. The staff is amazing. There is plenty of seating so even if it looks busy, there are still tables available. Then the nachos, honestly, for $27, this was unacceptable. Dry chips, unmelted cheese, some tomatoes thrown on top, no meat, no beans just thrown together with no care. It looked and tasted like an afterthought. What made it worse is the lack of accountability. I tried calling multiple times last night and again this morning no answer. Calls just ring or don't go through. I even tried calling from different numbers. Nothing. At this point, it's not even about the money it's the principle. Mistakes happen, but not being able to reach anyone or have them make it right is frustrating. I really wanted to keep supporting this place because the first experience was great, but this completely missed the mark. If you go, just be aware the quality and consistency might not be what you expect.
