I dont do reviews often, only when a service is exceptionally good, or extraordinarily bad. This case: good.
First Jamie and Ken are nice guys, that doesnt matter necessarily when it comes to fixing a car at a fair price but, it helps. How many times have mechanics not explained something well, or blown you off? Not here,mJamie breaks it down very well.
The service, this requires an example. My friend was at work when his wife went to start her car. The oil light came on. Not being mechanically inclined but knowing enough that oil is important she called her honda service dealer. They said 200 bucks minimum, gotta diagnose it, hook it up to a computer, then parts...labor...200 bucks. They live right next to gerards and she thought a second opinion would be good. Long story short, $2.00 later and one fuse, ten minutes she's on her way to work.
Now me, i got a 1975 chevy van, carbureted. Ken knows his way around an engine, i had a lot of work done, rebuilt carb, valve gaskets, vacuum seals. Its like a new van.
Good. Honest. Quality read more
