Our first trip in and it was a great one. We were greeted promptly and placed an order to go. There is very limited seating however we could have eaten in if we wanted. We ordered our pie par-baked so we could finish it up at home for a fresher experience. It was delicious however not exactly what we were expecting. We know for future orders now however. We ordered a white pizza so we expected a ricotta base, which it did not have. The owner was present and knew the locals, walking around and chatting and spoke to us to make sure we were helped already. Great vibe here! Great little place. Italian music playing softly in the background. Then you meet the owner operator 87 year old Geraldi himself. What a great guy, typical Italian invites you into his family showed us a picture of his mother and father. Talked about his mom with such love. We ordered spaghetti and meatballs. Ok so perfectly done and the right size of plate. So tasty, sauce was light and herbaceous meatballs were perfectly done. Garlic bread just enough to make it great for sopping up the sauce. Tiramisu was perfect dessert for the evening. Nice coffee finish to a cold and creamy dessert. Highly recommend this place you can't go wrong and we felt like we have a new family in Floyd. The owner is a delight to talk to and the staff was also. The food is truly authentic NY flavors with a touch of Sicilian tastes. Everything I ate there was beyond delicious. The portions are well worth the prices. The dough is made fresh daily in-house and you can taste the difference. The place is a little small but can seat about 10-12 people before it is at capacity but it is well worth the wait to get a seat. We stopped in on New Year's Day while visiting the quaint town of Floyd. We called first to verify they were open since it was a holiday. Located within an older building less than a block off the main street in downtown, it is very charming from the exterior. We were a bit surprised when we walked in to see just how tiny it is inside. There are no more than 12 seats total between various tables and chairs and window counter seating. We were immediately greeted upon walking in and the young lady working was quick to prepare a table for us. The table with two chairs were the only available seats. We were provided menus and our drink orders were taken. Shortly after we arrived and we were looking over the menu we were fortunate enough to meet the owner, Mr. Albert Geraldi. He was delightful and shared with us a little bit about his life. A young 87 years old, he shared that he has opened over 30 restaurants throughout the country throughout his life. We also found we share a connection to the west coast, specifically Oregon and the Lake Tahoe area. He and his partner even owned and operated a winery in Southern Oregon at one time. We learned his grandson, Joseph currently owns and operates a Geraldi's in McMinnville, Oregon, which was quite ironic since we had visited McMinnville in the past 10 days for the holidays. We asked him for menu suggestions and he was happy to share with us some of his favorites and told us he prepares 150 meatballs every two days by hand. We were really excited when we saw the two young men who were sitting next to us get their calzone delivered to their table The large was humongous therefore I ordered a small pepperoni & sausage calzone and my wife ordered the garlic Geraldi personal pizza with a side salad with balsamic dressing. You can tell Geraldi's is a local favorite because of all the people coming in and either picking up to go orders or having personal conversations with the employees. Even though it is very small, the tables kept turning over and there was an abundance of to-go orders. We were very surprised how quick our food was delivered and it looked absolutely delicious. We truly enjoyed each and every bite! Mr. Geraldi talked with us a little bit about Italy and Sicily and we shared with him we're planning to visit in the near future because of my heritage from Italy. Not only was this a fantastic food experience it was a memorable personal experience that we will remember for a long time. We look forward to returning to Floyd to stop in at Geraldi's and further explore the area on a future trip. read more

The best pizza in Floyd County! We will definitely be back to try their other specialties! Service was exceptional and all of the staff assisted us when and if needed and were very attentive to our needs, the venue is very small but the flavor is larger than Floyd itself! It is a very comfortable and cozy location and looks like a very nice place for a date. Tiramisu is the best so have ever had. Our son raved about their NY Cheesecake. My wife said the cannoli was delicious! We are more than pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food and the exceptional service here We will definitely be back. We had a lovely late lunch @ Geraldi's. Mr. Geraldi greeted us and asked if everything was good. He even brought us one of his meatballs w/ marinara sauce, 110 year old recipe, which was so delicious- along with everything else. The cozy atmosphere made our lunch more of a unique experience. Everyone was so nice- from the servers to the customers. Since there are only 12 seats- customer's would get up from their tables as others came through the door and say we are just finished. Fantastic authentic Italian family recipes. We are privileged to have Mr. And Mrs. Geraldi here in Floyd. They really care about their customer satisfaction; from the food to the service. Occasionally we get it to go because the small dining room is attached to another business that burns perfumed incense. That is my only complaint, and probably not in their control. The calzones are amazing, the pizza is the best quality, the sandwiches are delicious, and the bread is brought in from a specific New York bakery. I highly recommend this garlic bread!! read more

On June 27th, six friends went to Geraldi's for dinner. The owner was most gracious & gave us a table to accommodate all of us! There is not a lot of seats available ~ so come early. Hours are 11am-6PM. Check days open. The food was delicious & the best pizza I've ever eaten!! Everyone enjoyed their meals!! The meatballs were so good also & to top it off ~ try an out of this world homemade cannoli. Mr. Albert was a jewel to talk to & his family stories are so interesting! Very good italian food downtown Floyd. Food is different than what is served at Mickey G's Bistro. Limited inside seating so a lot of folks get food to go. I love sitting in the window seat and watching life go by. Service is pretty good and the owner is typically there making sure guests are happy. No alcohol when I went. Don't know if they plan on adding or not. You can ask for peppers to go along with your sandwich, which I would recommend. Reasonably priced to boot.
