I'd like to start this off by saying if you are looking for jewelry this is definitely the place to go. They have a great selection and the staff is great. That being said my experience with buying watches from them hasn't gone as well as other people that have left reviews. I spent $26,000 on an engagement ring and had a watch serviced with them for another $1,100 all within the same month. I asked to be put on the list for 2 Rolexes and I haven't gotten so much as a call in about a year and a half. Prior to visiting Gerald Peters, I have visited countless Rolex ADs where essentially the same message was conveyed- Little to no inventory with a long waitlist for popular Rolex models. Hearing this was pretty disappointing for me as my husband is a watch enthusiast and is interested in growing his collection. BIG Family operated jewelry store which is the only official Rolex dealer on the island ‍..They are very friendly and courteous yet they don't have much of a selection on Rolexes. Either Rolex massively cut their production and are not distributing them amongst their dealers or they just don't want to stock them being that they can't be discounted. I brought a diamond ring in to replace cracked and missing diamonds ! That being said I went to pick it up a week after I took it in to be repaired and I noticed that diamonds were still missing ! The owner said that he would take care of it and he apologized ! I was very patient and today I returned again to pick up my diamond ring(3 days later) !!!! Well the ring still had cracked diamonds and his reply to me was " we couldn't fix all the diamonds " excuse me ? When I left the rIng I asked that the ring be repaired in it's entirety! I didn't ask for the jeweler to fix the diamonds that he saw fit ! I was then told that the ring was old !!!! I received the ring 2 years ago from my husband. It was a 25th wedding anniversary present and it was purchased at B&A!!!! Old ???? The unprofessional attitude that I experienced today at Gerald Peters Jewelers was unprecedented! I will never bring anything to be repaired again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone !
