The day of my procedure I was prepped and medicated. Then the doctor told me that, based on the scans from the week before, the procedure I was scheduled for was not right for me. Shouldn't he have reviewed the scans before scheduling? When I questioned why the scans were so different from ones I had 6 months prior, he told me that in all likelihood his technician needs more training. I lost a half a day off work, for nothing. They gave me follow-up appointments, but I cancelled them as I have lost confidence in them. Lastly, I paid out of pocket, and although Dr. Dormu said he would return all of my payment, the receptionist held back $20. I was too tired and frustrated to argue with her. I made a request for a refund afterwards, but that inquiry has not received a response.
