I had a lovely experience with Roy. He was realistic about my height and weight and face shape and hair type. He had a suggestion on what what best suit me based on his observations which I really appreciated. I often bring in photos of hairstyles I like on other women, however that's not always what would look best on me. I appreciated a hairstylist who had an opinion instead of just blindly going with what I want. As a result, the hair cut and colour has never suited me more. I have not stopped receiving compliments. He spent lots of time with me and made sure I was happy with everything he was doing. read more

First of all - you have to love these guys. Personality PLUS. Secondly - they REALLY KNOW HOW to cut hair... BUT, my appt for a trim (I have short hair) and 6 foil highlights took 3 hours. I haven't been there for a while and I HAD FORGOTTEN it was always that way in the past. The concept of providing individual, non-interrupted attention is lost on them. They 'stash' you somewhere and work on NEW customers meanwhile stroking you occasionally and reassuring you ------ JUST another 5 minutes... At most appointment should have been 11/2 hours - NOT 3! The kicker? $146.00 with tax... Almost had a cardiac arrest! TOO RICH FOR THIS PENSIONER'S BLOOD. read more

I had the exact experience as Chantelle. I was booked in with Roy and asked just to clean up the shape of my hair with long layers. (The same hair I have had for years) 10mins of chopping and nothing like what I asked for. The layers are too short in the front and too long in the back. It looks like I have a mullet that was shredded and not cut. I will now only wear a ponytail until this grows out a bit and I can get it cut again as I wanted to keep my hair longer. read more

I was very unhappy with the service today and the cut was not what I wanted at ALL. I left feeling very upset and regretting my entire experience. I called several times letting them know I was picky prior to booking. And only gave them a chance because Roy stated that he trained Nash on cutting hair. Due to Covid and not much places open. I gave them a chance. Worst decision I can ever make. First off, I booked with Roy (again only because he stated that he trained Nash who was the previous guy who used to cut my hair that I loved). When I got there he told me some random girl was cutting my hair. I told him I didn't feel comfortable considering how picky I am. I went there only because you told me you trained Nash. So he pushed me onto her saying she had experience. A poodle could have cut my hair better than what she did. A blind poodle at the very most.... It was so uneven. Way shorter than I wanted. Layers were a mess. So after complaining to her the entire time. Because she literally was a mess and had no idea what she was doing, Giorgio the owner came fo fix it. Not much he can do at this point. Considering the front was super texturized and super short. With the back being super thick and with a very blunt cut and very long. There was NO BLEND to these layers. The front is more textured than the back. I wanted LONG settle layers. And they did the exact opposite. Short whispy layers! Giorgio than stated that He trained Nash while cutting my hair. And it was not Roy. So not only are they unprofessional. But they are also liars. Why book me for a time and I call to confirm before leaving to get there to be told some new random chick will be cutting my hair and that Roy trainer Nash when really Giorgio did. Then they want to charge me Regular Full Price. These guys only care about MONEY. And do not care for happy clients what so ever. They squeeze 10 different clients in and sit everyone around the salon and jump person to person just to make money and not satisfied customers. That rather quantity than Quality service. Just HORRIBLE. The poor reviews I read on here are all so accurate. It's so sad. These guys are more concerned about which kind of car you drive and where you work than actually doing their job. Worse experience of my life. I would never go back even if they were the last salon open. I rather cut it myself than to trust any of them ever again...and if you're looking for quality service and results save urself the trip and gas.. You're better off going to first choice. I truly wish I never went here. Hope they enjoyed their last dollars they will ever receive from me. Just pathetic ! read more

Had the worst experience here. Roy took 10 mins to hack off my hair and tried to convince me that it was better that way. I showed him a picture of what I wanted and my hair looks nothing like that. Before you ask it was not some unattainable cut or look off a model in a magazine. It was a cut that I get every summer and the picture was of me with the cut. After chopping off all my hair he tried to convince me that short hair was better for me because I was short. I will never go back. He was horrible and mean. I cried the whole way home. read more
