I used to love going here. I never had many horrible experiences. However, last time I was there, I felt rushed and I was out in 10 minutes for an eyebrow appointment. Granted the lady did say she was quite busy with laser services. The manager reached out and I was quite apologetic as I did not want anyone to get into trouble for a review I left. After 5 weeks, I decided to return and unfortunately I was paired with the same lady like last time. Although extremely nice, I think there there needs to be a few more training sessions. She threaded my brows. When she did my right brow, it was fine. But my left, I felt a sharp pain many times but didn't think nothing of it other than my eyebrow hairs not wanting to leave my face. I left I was happy and my eye brows looked good. What I notice when I return home was trauma to my brow bone. Lots of trauma and blood and tender feeling. I ended up applying topical cream for the cuts. I do believe this will be my last session there.

I was looking for nail salons in the York Region area that caries the powder dip brand "Nugenesis"…read moreand came across this salon. I was surprised at first that there were no reviews of this place on Yelp, but did find a few on Google that gave me some positivity about this nail salon. I called on Monday afternoon to make an appointment on Tuesday afternoon. I struggled to find the nail salon within the plaza, that I had to refer to the Google picture of its storefront to find the place. There were a few other nail salons in the plaza, which gave me trouble finding Thee Nail Salon, but eventually found it. Parking is a little tricky depending on how busy the plaza is, but I THINK there is also underground parking? This small nail salon is run by two sweet Cambodian women. I had Theear do my nails. She was very sweet and friendly throughout the service and I had a great time getting to know her. The nail service itself was good, no complaints from me. She accomplished doing the nail shape that I liked. The reason why I am going to continue coming here from now on is because of the Nugenesis dip powder they use here. They have soooooooooooo many colours here that I was overwhelmed but happy. Theear also mentioned that if they do not have the colour that I want in the dipping powder, they can do a base white Nugenesis, and then shellac on top, which is only $5 extra. Looking forward to coming back!

I have been getting waxed or sugared for well over a year now and I can say that Nina is the best I have ever come across. I have been to others that were quicker but NONE that make sure the job is completely done. I went in for a maintenance appointment which took about 35 minutes. It was not more or less painful that what it normally is but Nina provides great conversation throughout and ensures you are comfortable...in a situation where most would not be. Her price cannot be beat and the quality is just something you don't find very often when it comes to this type of work. There is no other person I would ever go to but Nina. FYI: There is parking on Kingsdale just past the Beauty Bar...super convenient and very reasonably priced.
