I visited this establishment today with my colleague and we both decided to get Chicken Parm subs. My colleague's sub was good, however, mine had a slather of mustard on it under the provolone cheese. Yes that's right, I said MUSTARD! I didn't and would never ask for mustard...who would on a chicken parm sub??? What a travesty and disrespect to an American staple. Love this place. They have the best honey BBQ steak tips around. There's nothing that I have tried that I don't like. Everything tastes great. Prices are a little pricey for the area but it's a nice treat. If you decide to have the food delivered be prepared for a long wait. They are always very busy. I do not recommend this place. Yes the food is good but the customer service is awful coming from the manager himself. Went to go pick up an order and the girl said I never ordered them I showed her proof. Then she asked my phone number and the manager came out and said that I apparently cancelled an order so they decided not to make mine. Which never happened and I ordered from Georgios 2 weeks ago and nothing was ever said. They should've at least asked me about it on the phone while I was placing my order. Great place w/ a large menu. I've never had a bad meal there. I grew up on the North Shore where they know how to make a RB sandwich and I was happy w/ Georgio's RB. It's going on almost four months since my first review and what a difference. I love their food obviously, but their service has increased DRAMATICALLY! For example today I ordered at 12pm and my lunch is at 1230pm; they said they'd be there in an hour. At 1225pm the driver called me that he was there. WOW! Really? Pizza no paper plates or utensils came with order, called to complain at which time was given hard time and told you only get paper plates and utensils upon request....So I guess you eat salad with your hands and pizza with no napkins.. I have been ordering Georgio's food for lunch for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Great portions, fresh salads, amazing homemade Greek dressing, the best chicken and steak kabobs I've ever had. Yesterday, I noticed that they forgot to pack a side of chicken kabob with my salad. I called, not knowing what to do as I have a limited amount of time to eat lunch at work. A very pleasant man got on the phone and apologized and said he would drive it right over! Around 10 minuets later, he arrived. I couldn't believe it! Normally, it costs extra for delivery. He didn't charge a thing and was very apologetic. It's just great business! The food is great here! I live and work less than 5 minutes away and I would most definitely consider myself a regular. My "go-to" items are a roast beef sandwich or a steaktip dinner. The owners are wicked nice, and the staff knows what they're doing. The only downfall would be parking. read more

Cost $25 for two large subs roast beef and steak/cheese.. Roastbeef very dry no flavor and steak &cheese was ground up so much it was like eating ground hamburger. No flavor and cheese only on bottom. I use to love their roast beef but prices went way up and quality way down. Then the wait was 30mins and it wasn't that busy. It's a shame because I prob. Absolutely the best roast beef sandwich on the whole South Shore. My wife let me try her steak tip salad, maybe the best I have ever had. I tried a slice of their pizza, also fantastic. Everything they have is fantastic. The place runs like a well oiled machine, and if super fast and efficient. I have never had BBQ steak tips like this! Some days they miss the mark slightly but even on these days it is impossible to find anything as close to amazing as this! I never thought I could find something as amazing until my fiance forced me to try something else and I had the Chicken Parm sub! I haven't been in nearly 6 years due to a job move, but I was here at least once a week. The steak and cheese is still the best I've ever had and I've contemplated driving back for it. Don't waste your time on a large as its only slightly longer than the small and the small is stuffed. Im talking you need to eat some out with a fork so you can close it enough to fit it in your mouth, unless you are Steven Tyler from Aerosmith. Apparently their customer service had dropped after reading all the unfavorable reviews. That's a shame. Good Food but horrible customer service. I called to order a chicken Caesar wrap along with other items for my staff and I at the hospital I work in. The woman I spoke to couldn't be more eager to rush me off the phone while placing my order. When it arrived my order was missing the bag of chips. When I called back not only did they just put the phone down but they me on hold for quite sometime. Then finally the girl that came back on the phone just simply said in a dry tone, "Yeah we'll send you your chips." I have frequented this place for many years. Ordered from main menu to catering menu. Never had much of a problem until today. The arrogant manager took my money, unfortunately did not reciprocate on the food order, as it was wrong! It evades me on how one can be so disrespectful and uncaring when his staff delivered a wrong product. Then the arrogant man stated i did not want a replacement order. I ordered grilled chicken Kabob salad. It was the worst salad ever. It was full of old chunks of yellow wilted heart lettuce. Also charged a $6.00 delivery fee. Owner said because two orders were placed even though it was one delivery!!! He said he had to charge twice for delivery because the salad was ordered after my initial $30.00 order. The initial order was placed a few minutes before. It would be a separate delivery charge because two calls were made even though it was same address at the same time! Never again will I order and I will tell everyone I know never to order. I asked for my $3.00 back for delivery and owner said NO!! Awful customer service. I guess $3.00 was more important to him than good customer service. So glad I just told over 30 people never to buy anything from Georgio's. Writing this review solely for their buffalo chicken calzone. I moved to Boston seven years ago (from the South Shore) and can say in confidence: nothing in our state's capitol can even hold a candle to Georgio's quality. Hell, my mouth is salivating just writing this review. Do yourself a favor and get the large so that you can have it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner the next day (if it even lasts that long). When I visit my parents back 'home,' it's merely a clever ruse to take a quick trip over to this not so hidden gem. Pro tip: perfection takes time, so order ahead or be prepared to wait. I went in to pick up a nearly $130 order at Georgio's this afternoon. When I got back to work I realized I was missing a sandwich for one of my co-workers. I promptly called Georgio's to inform them of the mistake. I got a woman on the phone and began to explain the issue to her. Her response "sorry for the mistake. I can send a delivery driver out to you but it's going to be a while, or we can give you a credit". After explaining to her that this was not acceptable she then put who I assume is her manager on the phone. Once again I got "sorry for the mistake I can get a driver out to you but it's going to be a while" so I asked "what's a while? This isn't the first time you guys have made a mistake and I was nice about it the first time, this time I'm not going to be. Now my co-worker is without a lunch". He then proceeds to tell me he doesn't actually know how long it's going to be because he doesn't have any drivers at the moment and "mistakes happen". Yes, thank you for telling me mistakes happen. I work in customer service and I am well aware of this fact. I'm also well aware that in this business when mistakes do happen you at least TRY to redeem yourself. My company spends a good $100-$200 there on a WEEKLY basis and this is the kind of service we get? I would have expected a lot more from this establishment. I can tell you what....Georgio's has lost a good customer. I used to rave about this place because the food is great but guess what? Superb customer services rules all. read more

I work a mile down the street from here, and we order from them fairly often. We called our order in at 11 for 12 o'clock delivery. When 1230 rolled around without food, we called back and were told "he's in the area". At 1 we called again. When we complained that we had bee waiting 2 hours for delivery (and missed our lunch break at this time) The rude guy on the phone said he told us it would be 1-2 hour wait for delivery. My coworker said NO you didn't, if you had said that we would've have driven over to pick it up. The guy called her a liar (his exact words). She demanded to speak with a manager and he said he was the owner. He was informed we order from here often, and would no longer be doing so after this catastrophe, and he said, "good luck ordering from somewhere else!" Are they the best sub shop ever? No, they're not: I haven't found such a place yet in my life. What they are is very good at what they do, and because they're good, they're also busy. That's why you get a busy signal so often during peak times. If someone sounds grouchy on the phone, consider that they've taken nonstop calls for several minutes (as a former receptionist, I'll vouch that nonstop phone calls can be overwhelming for the best of us). If your food is late, think of who else has been waiting. Your own impatience and sense of entitlement aren't good reasons to give a good place one star. They bust serious ass over there *all the time.* Their food is good. In the summer, their lobster rolls and salad are all meat and no filler (pricey, but that's how lobster goes). The honey bbq steak tips aren't to be missed. They're wonderful in any presentation, whether alone on a bed of rice, in a salad, or a sandwich: cooked just right, sweet and salty. They pretty consistently prepare food to my order specs without making any big errors (I have a thing for tzaziki on my steak bombs that I picked up in college and they always oblige, even when the order-taker sounds disgusted). Always go for the stuff marked "homemade," like their burgers, eggplant parm, and chicken cutlets (sometimes the chicken is a bit overcooked and dry, sometimes it's spot on). They make tasty dessert calzones, very densely-packed subs, so-so pizza, and a fine selection of fried-up appetizers. My favorites are the broccoli bites and the curly fries. The curly fries are a ridiculously generous serving... one person couldn't ever finish them alone. Even my giant husband can't polish off an entire bag. The delivery people are always polite and cordial. We've been ordering food for them for about 10 years and it's pretty much always on point. For sub shops in the area, this one is a gem. They're generous, efficient, and honestly, reliable and consistent. If you are a reasonable person who doesn't have really unrealistic expectations for a very popular local sub shop, what's not to like? read more

I LOVE Georgios!!! Everything there is so delicious and the staff isn't as horrible as everyone is saying. The owners are incredibly friendly. If you think otherwise, they were probably just busy at the time. Give them a break. Their food is outstanding. And their dessert calzones are to die for. My family and I usually order a bunch to take home with us since we live kind of far away. If we lived closer, I'd be there every day. The homemade greek desserts at the counter are perfect. Every single time I am in the area, I stop in. And I even have taken the time to travel the hour just to get their steak tips to cook at home for parties! And we've had them cater our events.
