This farm is one of my favorites because it meets all of my needs. I know everything I get here is going to be local and fresh. They have delicious sandwiches, my friends and I each got a different one and enjoyed every bite! The sweet potato burger on special was so fresh and light. The challah roll was SO GOOD. The pickles on it were a little bitter so it made those bites a little too zingy. We really enjoyed the grilled squash on the dellecata sandwich. Quintessential New England farm!! I love places like this that are part-store, part-farm, part-restaurant, etc. A little bit of everything for everyone! My husband and I came here on a Saturday afternoon. We got some apple cider donuts and ordered two pizzas (Neapolitan-style) that we watched them cook on the big outdoor pizza ovens. We came for the PYO strawberries, and ohh boy, were those not the sweetest, most delicious strawberries I've ever had! The hayride out to the far strawberry fields was fun for the little one - bumpy, picturesque, and just long enough. The staff explained the method on how to pick the best strawberries which was very helpful. The fields were well-maintained and we had plenty to pick from. Langwater Farm has such a lovely farm stand, I picked up some garlic scapes that were in season and some local baked goods. The cafe had some great options for sandwiches - we ordered the roast beef horseradish, the turkey club, and a grilled cheese, all of which were so good and well made. The farm seems to really cater to the local community with weekly pizza nights, an ice cream window, a farm-to-table supper club, and a CSA. We will definitely be back for pumpkin and strawberry season! read more

This is what every town needs! A local market, with fresh vegetables, great lunches, family community nights, fun events for kids and ice cream and pizzas! Service was fantastic, sandwiches were delicious, prices were reasonable and the market, chick full of super fresh veggies and fruits (including white raspberries) and fresh corn to pop (including on the cob). Cheeses, healthy drinks, organic teas and coffee, and a great deli. The inside market was clean and neat and outside was terrific with multiple covered seating areas, tractors for climbing, and a huge pick your own flower garden. Bathrooms were inixex, clean and new. Langwater Farm is the loveliest little farm stand, I just moved to the area and am feeling really lucky to live nearby! There's a beautiful local market with a lunch counter, ice cream stand, PYO flowers and produce (all seasonally, of course), and a whole slew of other pop-up events, hay rides, markets, etc. I've had this place in on my radar since I started looking at houses in the area, and visited this weekend for some produce and a pick your own flower bouquet. My mom was visiting from out of town and it was such a perfect way to spend the afternoon! It was $19 for a jar to fill with flowers from the field next to the market. They give you a pair of clippers and you just walk through the rows of flowers and clip what you'd like. The jar is pretty big so you can fit a ton of flowers, and there's sooo many stunning options to pick from. Totally worth it. I was also really impressed with the market itself, so many yummy looking farm veggies, but also pretty much any other local product you could want. Honey, eggs, plants, baked goods, dips, marinades, granola, tea, ice cream, cheese, soaps, gifts--you name it, they've got it. It took all of my self control to leave with only one basket of produce and two tubs of ice cream (black raspberry chocolate chip and lemon blueberry cheesecake--how could I not??). I didn't try anything from the lunch menu or bakery, but everything looked amazing and I'm definitely coming back soon to taste it all. Langwater also hosts tons of local events, including pizza night from the looks of the wood-fired ovens out back. Stopped in to get an ice cream. They have limited flavors. I tried a sample of the strawberry but it seemed a little bland. I ordered two small ice creams and they are smaller than other area Ice Creameries. The cost was ok for the size, but the serving was really small compared to area Ice Creameries. I was disappointed with lack of taste and available flavors. What I really didn't like was the girl that took the order and collected cash also scooped the ice cream. There was no protective paper around the cones and the server didn't wrap a napkin around the cone either. Gross money dirt transferred to my cone. Langwater is about a mile away and I would rather travel further to go to The Flannel Cow or Flint Farm in Mansfield to get better and tastier ice cream. It's hard to beat The Flannel Cow! read more

We came for PYO strawberries and stayed for pizza; we were happy with both, and probably will come back. The strawberry picking was great. We didn't take the hayride to the further fields, but the ones we could walk to were filled with berries; we were also alone most of the time too, which was nice. The strawberries themselves were excellent, and easily in my top 3 of all time. We stayed for lunch and got their special pizza and a fresh strawberry milkshake. The pizza was pretty good, and came out quite fast. It was charred, as were all the others we saw, so that's something to consider if you're not a fan; I like a bit of char, though :) . The strawberry milkshake wasn't anything mindblowing and was a bit light on the ice cream for my taste (I prefer thick milkshakes, and it tasted more like a smoothie), but still satisfying. And it had some fresh strawberries in it, which was good. The farm store itself is fairly standard, though they have a lot in different produce (and free samples!) Overall it was an enjoyable experience and we're happy we went. read more

It's the most wonderful time of the year (Fall) and Langwater Farm is the best place to go to celebrate. Not only does the farm cater to families, foodies, and weekend warriors alike with cider donuts (!!!!), hay rides (!!!!!!), and an organic farm store (!!!!!!), but it's also nestled in the heart of picturesque Easton, Massachusetts, an easy 35 minute ride from Boston that's perfect for New England leaf peeping adventures! The farm store staff is knowledgeable, both regarding the onsite farm goods (pumpkins! gourds! tomatoes! herbs!), and the local purveyors from MA and beyond that they peddle at the shop. I really loved my NOBL Pumpkin Cold Brew, which they serve to order in chilled Instagram friendly orange cans. I also enjoyed the Goat Milk Caramels~ try the raspberry flavor, it's amazing! There's also a full service cheese counter with samples, and a few other goodies fit for building the perfect charcuterie board. It's pricy, but fun to shop around and pick out a treat. The grounds are equally lovely, with the aforementioned cider donuts for sale during the weekends, fresh made to order, and family friendly hayrides for the kiddos and kids at heart. We came here for PYO tulips! Admission was $20 per person and comes with glass jar to pick 10 tulips each. Had a great time as it wasn't super crowded and had a friendly staff. Langwater farm offers so much and is so beautiful since their renovation. I highly recommend spending an afternoon here. The store front also offers a variety of organic produce, meats, sweets, and more! We have ordered lunch here several times and love their sandwiches. They offer online pick up but you can also head to the back corner where they have fresh baked goods and sandwiches you can order. Service has always been so swift. They also have a variety of prepared foods such as wraps, pasta/potato/garden salads in the refrigerated section along with plenty of ice cream! Beautiful organic farm with a variety of activities for kids and adults. I went here for strawberry picking and PYO flowers ($19 with mason jar). The hayride takes you out further to a bigger strawberry field. The store had so many local dairy products, fresh bread, produce, candies, and ice cream. The cafe had lots of sandwiches to choose from. They don't make any modifications on their sandwiches though. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable about fruit season. Stumbled across this super cute farmstand when looking for a place to get a variety of pumpkins for our kids (they had all kinds of squash). We also ended up getting cider, cider donuts, and some local honey. Langwater clearly has a Easton feel - farm store looks like a mini Whole Foods and the prices aren't dirt cheap, but it has great variety, local products, and we even saw a sign about a CSA, which we were excited about. This place is fantastic! All kinds of local small time business owners here. Last time I went I got fresh delicious coffee from Beanery coffee, a steak from Daddy's homegrown meat and homemade soap from Rosie bud farm and honey. That have wood fired pizza they cook there with regular specials. It smells Devine! Lots of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Check their Facebook page often. We had a birthday party here. We arrived to multiple people in our private party space. We had to ask them to leave. Through out the entire party people were walking into the party area as there was only 1 sign for a private event and the area was not sectioned off properly. The area was littered in trash on the ground and there were half eaten donuts on one of the tables, which we had to take care of. Before the party began we were already put off from the atmosphere. Then it was time for the hayride. I was asked for a count of adults and children. I had stated we would have 54, which was an over estimate. When the tractor for our group pulled up they had only brought over a tractor with one trailer and expected us all to fit. We of course did not and they instead told 9+ people from our private party that they could use the public tractor to get to the pumpkin patch. The public tractor did not even make it out to the pumpkin patch before our group had all unloaded, picked pumpkins, and got back on the trailer. So an hour+ out of the 2 hours of the time our party was split up. There was also a giant stump in the entry way of the party area that my mother tripped and fell on. I sent an email to the farm of our experience and the response was "It sounds like we were a little overwhelmed by the volume of customers on Sunday, and I'm sorry it detracted from your party experience." No apology for my mother falling. Nothing. Do not have your kids party here, we left extremely disappointed. read more

been a seasonal share member since this late spring, couldn't be happier. they have great produce: always fresh and tasty. mostly organic, all local. exhibit A: cherry tomatoes in the summer. they were SOOO flavorful -- i almost forgot that tomato had taste! thought it was just my palate change, so bought a pint of organic ones from supermarket the next week. yup, those were still tasteless. TRY THEIR TOMATOES! pricing is a bit high compared to store (organic to organic), naturally. but the weekly box/share at $25-30 give you 6-7 items from a bunch of herb to a couple lbs. of carrots, not a bad deal at all. and if supporting local farms is your thing, they are well worth it. ultimately, i do find their produce actually tastier, and that's not because i am being a hippie. have some standards for your vegetables! nutrients and all! fresher IS better! staff are also friendly there, ready to answer any questions you have, talking about vegetables and stuff, and going out of their way to help you pick a watermelon, etc. emails also responded promptly if you have inquiries. aside from the farm stand, they also do PYO flowers and berries (summer), xmas tree & wreath (winter), hayride in the fall into xmas, the whole nine. some of those got cancelled this year because of this sucky thing called Covid. so for now, apple cider donuts on the weekends will suffice. read more

Covid protections in place, which I really appreciate. I had tried apple picking at another farm, and they were not taking precautions at all, so I missed out. While this farm doesn't have apple picking, I came to buy some local apples, cider and cider donuts. These were all yummy, and I felt safe the way they handled everything. There was sanitizer around, and a dispenser at the donut counter. Will definitely return. Note: cider donuts are only on weekends, and they are closed Mondays. read more

This place is so fun if you're looking for a quick fall-filled day! This place is only about 25 min away driving from the North Quincy T stop. There is: -a pumpkin patch there - It was a little sparse but I think it was bc it's the end of the season. Still pretty! -corn maze($2/pp) - not the toughest maze but still fun! again the cornfield was a little matted but I think it was bc it was the end of the season. -hay ride (free!) - fun ride and loops often so you don't have to wait long -apple cider donuts ($1/ea) - SO GOOD! highlight of the trip. You can see them making it in front of you. Would come back just for this! -apple cider($2/pint) - I'm unsure if it's made there but still delicious nonetheless -some other farm goods (i.e. fruits, veggies, honey, etc.) It's a small farm as I wish there were also apple/fruit picking available but I still had fun! Langwater Farm is excellent. This is my 2nd year purchasing a half-share CSA and my 3rd year of weekly shopping for vegetables, fruits, and local honey. The food is organic and perfect for every recipe. The CSA offers great variety and donates your share to the local food pantry if you are unable to pick up you share any given week (I really like that they are caring for all and there is no waste). The staff is knowledgeable and helpful. And the online recipe share and newsletter has opened my eyes to new delicious options. And if you ever have an issue with any product, a simple email to the farm merits a response within a day and the issue is quickly remedied. My favorite farm evah! read more

Went to Langwater to buy 2 Christmas trees. Picked a 9 and 6 footer. They put our 9 footer in another customer's truck who drove off. They told us to pick another tree but there were no 9 footers left, only 6 feet and under. We asked to speak with owner/manager, I think his name was Kevin, about getting one of the trees discounted or comped for our trouble, their mistake, and having to settle for a much smaller tree. Kevin wouldn't come and talk to us to rectify the situation. Sent a worker with no decision-making power to tell us they wouldn't discount or comp anything. We were just out of luck. Sad for my son who was so excited to pick out the trees himself. Bad business when they wouldn't try to help a customer out because of THEIR mistake and then to refuse to come talk to us. The owner didn't even care. Great Christmas spirit? We won't be back. read more

Went here in early spring on a whim hoping to find some flowers. Didn't really have a great selection of flowers, but had such a great selection of herbs and vegetables to plant! The prices are very reasonable for a local farm. They also have fresh veggies for sale, but I didn't purchase those so I can't speak to quality. read more

Great donuts in the fall, and fresh produce year round. The pumpkins and hay ride are something that my family looks forward to every year. I am surprised that they only have 7 reviews over several years but maybe that says more about the sleepy little suburb of Easton than about Langwater Farm. Folks wake up! If you can afford to pay a bit more for produce in order to get the best you should check it out. It's a cute little farm stand that is set off the main road of Rt 138 just enough to give it a nice country feel. There is plenty of room for parking and the several times I have been there business is steady but never busy busy. I'd say it's laid back and scenic in a typical small town New England way, kind of a throwback to when farm stands in rural areas were more prevalent. Even saw a large trailer loaded with hay for hay rides.I am not sure how many acres they have at this location but I heard that they also utilize some local fields. What's very cool and why I go is that the produce is 100% organic and fresh as heck. You can taste the difference. Greens are crisp, corn is sweet, tomatoes are super tasty, strawberries are bursting with flavor. They are now growing hops too and we know what happens to hops ! Almost across the board they have the supermarkets crushed. You just can't beat small farm fresh. Big Agra and the multi national food conglomerates care about feeding the masses cheap crappy processed food loaded with preservatives. I'm not a fan of GMO's and chemical fertilizers and pesticides. My mom worked at a flower factory for mostly her entire life. So since she retired I really try to get her involved with her florist side. I took her here so she can pick her own flowers, I have heard from my friend that they have the best flowers. Some flowers have dried when we visited but we were still able to pick enough to fill up two vases. The price was a little pricey but it's to be expected. read more

Amazing ORGANIC produce here! I've purchased organic produce from other places and Langwater definitely has THE BEST tasting produce I've ever enjoyed! Just put together a salad from their with arugula, red lettuce, red and orange peppers, cherry tomatoes, radishes and cauliflower....delicious! Once you partake this produce nothing else will compare! Recently attended a dinner where the Langwater Farm's produce was the focus. There was a hayride prior to the dinner to showcase where the amazing produce is grown. We were able to speak with the farmers. I was impressed with their knowledge and devotion to growing organic produce! I admire how they manage the crops to achieve the best produce while enhancing the soil for future plantings. I learned about crop rotation, planting soil enhancing crops to naturally fortify the soil, and planting at different times of the season to avoid pests and minimize crop loss. The farm stand is very close to my town but I have Never heard of it before the day I went! I didn't want to drive to my regular spot in Amesbury for cider donuts so I did a search and found Langwater. Cute farm stand, great looking veggies and they sell jars of their own marinara sauce. Cider donuts, only sold on weekends, are simply delicious! Get them hot and fresh "off the presses"! The 4 stars is for the donuts. Now for my review of the marinara sauce. It's made using Langwaters own award winning tomatoes so I was really looking forward to eating. The jars of sauce are pricey at $9.00 each. But heck, award winning, organic, farm fresh ingredients, I splurged! I hate cooking but actually looked forward to it this night just to try the sauce. Pasta water is boiling... Open jar to heat.... Pour sauce into pan... Umm...what...ewww...the "sauce" is more like soup. Although soup may actually be thicker and have more substance than this sauce. The sauce pours out of the jar like water. No visible sign of tomatoes except for the skin. You know when the skin looks like red splinters. Yup that's the only sign of tomatoes. Some onions and spices are visible. So I continue, maybe the tomato water taste great. Ummm.... no it doesn't. This sauce is so thoroughly disappointing and a waste of money. Now please believe me, I'm not just that person that likes a thicker sauce to coat my pasta.. honestly, this sauce is the consistency of water. My kids tasted and wouldn't eat it. I really, really wanted to like it. I'm just not into tomato water. 1 star for the sauce because I'm sure they think it's good. read more
