Then, after my call, my friend showed me the chicken tenders and I just took a picture, confident that it wouldn't be a problem. I was traveling all September and did not get a chance to stop in to pick up the order I was promised by their hostess. Anyway, when I went back in October, a month later, I was told by the manager (male) and he said that there was no book and there was nothing he could do for me, even after I showed him the pictures. Said, "we can't refund carry out orders like that...." Super discourteous, like I was trying to get over for an order of Jerk wings! I didn't even order the tenders and fries, which I also paid for and was trash. Well if a customer that spends a minimum $1200+ dollars a year at your restaurant in carry out, not including eat-in visits aren't valued enough for you to stand behind the product you serve, you shall get nothing from me, ever again and this will be the word-of-mouth I spread from now on. Pick who represents your business with great care. They are the easiest way to win or the easiest way to fail.

goergies was a cool place until i went to the bathroom and found my best friend unbearably intoxicated after being away from him for 5 min. i'm all for this bar trying to have the equal environment but they only have a "men" and "restroom" they don't actually have any visible woman's restrooms. i would usually not complain about this and now i know to just bring him to the bathroom with me but seriously, drugging someone when they piss? some clubs/bars have workers in the bathroom to hand someone a towel after washing their hands.. which i guess prevents the chance OF SOMEONE BEING DRUGGED but not georgie's. this is some type of insecure place bc we were there for maybe 20 min before this happened. i'm furious that this club let this happen and i will really never go here again bc carrying someone home is terrifying, plus no offense but there were ALL men there. needs more lesbos. i couldn't even dance comfortably & im a dancy type of person. p.s you need more security, there are creepos all around, you just don't see it read more

This place is such a POS. From the horribly outdated wood paneling and dark decor to an outside "bar" that looks like a DIY fail this place is one eyesore after another. It's very much a bar for locals and very cliquey. I had to wait for the bartender to finish her conversation w her friend before she would look in my direction then acted annoyed when I ordered a drink. It's tiny and has to be the absolute worst use of space I've ever seen. It gets crowded (mostly men and drag queens) so you're constantly getting pushed around. I have no idea why people would go voluntarily. Paradise is soooo much better. I will never go back to that cess pool of the most pathetic, unwelcoming and pompous drunks Asbury Park has to offer. This is absolutely disgusting! There are flies buzzing around your head while you are trying to converse with other bar patrons, the AC wasn't working and they had all the doors wide open. The drinks sucked, I barely had a buzz after 3 pricy drinks. The bartender had a bad attitude, some lesbian with an ax to grind, she kept demanding that get more drinks. The bar's manager, Charles I believe, was complete obnoxious queen. My group of 4 friends were visiting from Boston, and we will never return to this bar and I suggest you don't either! read more

Went back last weekend because friends were going. Big mistake. Still a $hithole. Still very cliquey and cringey. At least this time no one was physically assaulted. 1-star for that improvement. I have no idea why people go here. I'm guessing because its the bar for locals and there's really not many options to choose from. Well, not now anyway. Don't worry, though, he blinks the lights around 1:45 for last call! He is also very personable, relaxed, and makes a mean old fashioned! What is great about this place is it really does transport you back in time. The drinks to order here are the classics, strong liquor, high end cocktails, or beer! Side cars, Manhattans, an old fashioned, etc. Single malt scotch. Whiskey, neat. You can also order beer or a vodka soda, or even a club soda. Prices are reasonable. There is ONE TV in the place.
