After years of being a customer of a so-called "boutique" cleaners, in Sacramento, I finally…read moreswitched to Bud's and was extremely surprised. Their quality and attention to detail matches any high-end French laundry I have ever used. My shirts are handmade and the fabrics are sometimes more fragile than an average shirt and Buds makes sure that they are well pressed, the collar and cuffs are in the proper place and detail every shirt as if it were the most expensive material. Suits and sport coats are pressed by hand rather than stamped by a commercial press and the materials are always handled with Care. Their pricing is also very fair. They are an amazing company and from what I've seen, treat every customer like family unlike the arrogant attitude I found with my past cleaner! Five star.

When I got home, I saw that the clothes I had just picked up were very wrinkled. By then the shop was closed so I could not go back. The next day I stopped by to pick up the other items before they started on them, but I was too late. I explained about the wrinkles, but there was a language barrier and I do not think they understood me. When I picked up my clothes again today, they were still wrinkled and this time there were visible white starch marks. I pointed it out and the woman nodded, but we could not really communicate. I paid full price both times and left with clothes that looked worse than when I dropped them off. I will not be returning and definitely do not recommend.

I had a very disappointing and concerning experience at this dry cleaner…read more I brought in a brand new dress for dry cleaning, and it was returned drastically altered--so much so that it no longer fit and resembled a child-sized top. I also had a pair of shorts tailored at the waist and outer seam, which were returned misshapen and unwearable. When I calmly requested refunds, for the services, using Google Translate in Korean, communication became extremely difficult and unproductive and Hannah became very aggressive with me. At the tail end of a prolonged discussion, I finally received a partial refund for the damaged dress and was refused a refund for the incorrect alterations, as she wanted an opportunity to fix the shorts but they were beyond repair. Both the dress and shorts have to be repurchased, at my expense. During this interaction, another customer entered with similar alteration issues, which raised additional concerns about consistency and quality of work. Most concerning, while I was attempting to resolve the situation and accept a $22 alterations reimbursement from another customer who offered to help, the owner, Hannah, physically shoved me to interrupt the exchange. This escalation was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. I cannot recommend this business based on my experience. I would strongly advise others to proceed with caution, especially for alterations or valuable garments.
