Another gem which I'm ecstatic to have finally visited! First, shoutout to the incredible staff!!!! Everyone was super helpful and pleasant, hospitality at its finest. However, shoutout to our waitress, Doris-she was the kindest. Seating: there is a few seating both upstairs and downstairs, with more seating outside. However, because this place is super popular you can expect each seat to be filled. Quality: I wasn't too fond of the fishy scent upon arrival but it's a seafood spot and one which provides the freshest and most delicious seafood I've had in a longggggggggg time. I ordered the lobster grilled cheese with a side of hush puppies and my boyfriend ordered a lobster roll. Hush puppies- the BEST I've had in quite some time. They were freshly made, crispy, and mixed with some honey for an added sweetness. Lobster grilled cheese sandwich: O-M-G! I'm still recovering from the amazing flavor profile in this sandwich. For starters, the Maine lobster serving was quite generous and it was fresh and buttery. The sourdough bread was beyond delicious, perfectly crisp around the edges, soft on the inside, with savory cheese oozing through the holes. The sandwich also contained sautéed spinach and tomato, making this sandwich my favorite of all time-no exaggeration! My boyfriend absolutely loved his lobster roll and from the pictures, you can once again see how generous they were with serving up those fresh lobster pieces. We ended up ordering another round of hush puppies because there was no way that we would leave without indulging in more of it. LOL I cannot wait to return again.

If you are craving a lobster roll you have found the place to go. This roll was absolutely delicious and packed full of lobster. They really didn't skimp out! I'll be dreaming of this for days!! Also ordered the lobster bisque and it was just as good The service was also great! We were greeted with big smiles and welcoming words.

I heard great things about Georgetown Seafood, and it definitely lived up to the hype. The location is fantastic, but be prepared for a challenge with parking on weekends; it took me a little extra time to find a spot. The decor has a charming New England feel. The staff were efficient and friendly, making the experience even better. We indulged in the lobster grilled cheese with hush puppies and a chilled lobster roll. Both were absolutely delicious, and the hush puppies were so good we had to order a second round. If you're a seafood lover, this place is a worth a visit.

I've heard great things about Georgetown Seafood so I was excited to try! It's a great place with amazing workers and delicious food! I had a yummy lobster roll with French fries. After soaking in the views of the waterfront by Georgetown waterfront park, this spot was a short walk uphill and the place I had bookmarked for lunch. I ordered the crabcake and lobster bisque for dine in. The cashier even asked me if I wanted them to serve the dishes together which was really attentive of them. I found some seating on the second floor and the staff even brought the food up to me! I know I came for the seafood but was absolutely blown away by the five star service! The staff were super king and kept asking if we needed anything the entire time we were dining in. They also proactively brought cups of water and utensils as well as an extra basket for my brother so that we could share the order. Once others are finished eating, the staff were super quick to clear and clean the tables. This is the service that all five stars or those $$$ restaurants should aspire for honestly. The crab cake was pretty decent and good for the given price. Not the best I've ever had though. The lobster bisque was also pretty good and stirring the soup seemed to enhance the seafood flavor. It was a very creamy and filling soup. Bathroom was immaculately clean and had no smell. 10 out of 10 would recommend visiting this spot if in the area!

Food 10/10 Service 10/10 Ambiance 10/10 My husband and I stumbled into this place and it was delicious. The Mayo lobster roll is not to be missed. The service was also excellent they made sure they touched every table and held the door for every guest. It didn't go unnoticed.

I immediately was greeted with a very nice smile and welcome when I arrived. It was around 3:20pm on a Tuesday so it wasn't super busy. I planned on visiting on off hours as I read from other Yelper's its small and you may have to sit outside. No way, not today. People were seated upstairs. I chose to have the downstairs to myself. I already knew what I wanted. I ordered the single crab cake, hush puppies, and potato salad. I will come back to try the Lobster roll. Today was a crabcake day. They were very nice and let me sample the coleslaw and the potato salad. They immediately got me a cup of ice water while I ordering my food because it was hot. The staff went above and beyond and you can tell the Manager, Ny, leads by example. She was training and she was awesome. The food was hot and fresh. I didn't have to add hot sauce or black pepper to anything. It was good and properly seasoned.

I was strolling in Georgetown and got a little hungry. I had been craving seafood but also grilled cheese and I was hoping somewhere in the area had something on the menu that combined both! Georgetown Seafood did not disappoint. The staff was friendly, the service was efficient and the food was amazing. The lobster grilled cheese was packed with gooey cheese and ample lobster, packed with flavor. The fries were perfectly crisped. I dined in and enjoyed the homey atmosphere and a lovely view of the georgetown streets. If in the area, stop in and give them a try!

I wish I knew about this place sooner. It was soooo good. It's a small restaurant with some outdoor seating. You might have to take the food to go if there's not enough room. The service was good. The staff knows they're popular so they're very efficient. The food was really delicious. The lobster was flavorful. The fried were perfectly crispy. I can't wait to come back.

Stopped by Georgetown Seafood while in DC and was seriously impressed. The lobster roll was fantastic--fresh, generous, and perfectly done. It was so good that we came back again the very next day, which says everything. On top of the food, the employees were extremely nice and welcoming. Super friendly service and a great overall vibe. If you're in Georgetown and craving seafood, this spot is a must.

Yummy, cozy spot with outdoor seating and small indoor seating both upstairs and downstairs. The service is absolutely wonderful and pleasant. Let's see, did I like the bisque or lobster roll best??? Or the hush puppies??? Or the clam chowder??? All of it was yummy!!! Seriously glad this is where we came. Parking can be ugh but worth it. We came around 11:30 and no line. There was one by noon for sure. Will definitely hit this restaurant again!!! As a Californian I can say it as hella good lol

The food and the service was amazing. The lobster bisque was phemonal. It had quite a few pieces of lobster in the soup (we opted to add 1/2oz of lobster meat on top). The clam chowder was also delicious. The fried prawns and fish and chips was golden on the outside and tender on the inside. No grease at all. The service was wonderful. All the staff made us feel welcome the minute we walked in and our server took very good care of us. We were even offered candy on the house. I thought the quality of the food was excellent and it was very reasonably priced. A hidden gem. I will definitely go back if I am in Washington again. (I am from Ca) I highly recommend Georgetown Seafood!!! read more

The Maine lobster roll with mayo here gave me a taste of home (I'm from Maine originally). The food was fantastic and the service was quite good. The ambiance was very good and the staff were extra friendly. Would recommend this place. On the day we came they were opening a bit late and were short staffed so we waited a bit for food but it was worth it. The staff was super nice and attentive. The place is cute on the inside and they have some nice outside seating in front. Everything looked new and clean. We got one lobster roll warm with butter and another cold with mayo and stuff. I liked the cold roll with mayo better but my partner liked the warm one with butter. The hush puppies were yummy but a little on the small side so order extra! read more

I don't leave reviews often, but this place is a complete gem of a restaurant. I stumbled onto this place while on a work trip to DC (thanks Yelp reviews) and I would recommend it to anyone. The lobster roll and the calamari were delicious! However the calamari was $13 and the portion was small. My friend and I each had a few bites and that was it - it tasted very good though! The lobster roll was very fresh and buttery, the bread was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, I loved every bite of it! The shop is small and intimate and it was tough to find a spot to leave our winter jackets, but there are seatings upstairs and outside. Overall I recommend this place and will be back to try other items on the menu! read more

So damn good! By now, I've had almost everything on their menu, but my favorites and go-tos are the shrimp poboy, fish and chips, and Maine lobster roll. My wife loves their Maine lobster roll, and orders it every time. We also get the hush puppies every single time. Best in town. They make in-house cocktails, which I didn't expect. The orange crush is very refreshing, and goes well with the fish. read more

Wonderful crab cake lunch!! (Thats an understatement...) We almost walked past but were encouraged (but not hassled) to look at the menu. So glad we did. Ordered inside (staff are very friendly!) and sat outside . This is on a side street and there are pedestrians and vehicles not far away but it's not overwhelming. Crab cakes and hush puppies and beers. A great lunch and a nice place to sit. read more

Pretty run of the mill when it comes to lobster rolls I've had which means that it was very good. For the price it feels like you are getting a great deal particularly in Georgetown of all places. The hush puppies were also perfectly fried. Amazingly crispy with a soft interior. read more

Small little spot right off the main strip in Georgetown. Service was good we didn't wait long for our order. The food was pretty good the shrimp po boy was really good the bread was nicely toasted and buttery along with delicious fried shrimp they use a Panko type breading and the shrimp was pretty and meaty . We also had the clam chowder it was decent nice and thick ( not runny like some places ) but was missing that clam taste and the potatoes were a bit to thick. They have chairs inside downstairs and a few upstairs . They also have seating outside but it's getting cold so I'm sure that won't be out much longer. read more

Very Very Good!! Walked inside and ordered at the counter where we received fast polite service. We sat outside on a beautiful busy night in Georgetown, and placed our number on the table. Our drinks were quickly brought out and I had some delicious Clam chowder to start. A short time later our food came out. Between the 3 of us we ordered the Seafood combination and then a Shrimp basket. Wow! It really hit the spot after sight seeing and walking all day. The waiter and waitress really were fast and so nice. Everything was fresh and tasty. They even brought us a free blow pop candy afterwards. Loved the umbrella tables and ambiance. Okay. This is a small but mighty seafood place. They do have seating inside, upstairs, and outside, but it looks like lots of folks did take out or take away. Excellent crab cakes and shrimp. Prices are right for a quick service place. Expect a line to order, but the line moves quickly. read more

This place has amazing customer service and the quality of feed is wonderful. We ate upstairs and it was such a treat to overlook the Georgetown neighborhood. It's a popular place but they don't make you feel rushed. I tried the shrimp po boy and my daughter had the lobster grilled cheese. Both dishes were delicious. Parking seems tricky but probably normal for the Georgetown area. Highly recommend this place for great quality food at a fair price and a wonderful atmosphere. read more

I stumbled upon this place and had to add it my bucket list. One of the biggest turnoffs this place had was that there is a QR code on the tables that links to the menu. The prices on the QR code menus have significantly less than the price you pay at the counter. The price difference can be as much as $5 more for an entree! I know every restaurant is upping their prices as needed, but tricking customers doesn't feel right. My group of 5 said nothing but everyone noticed. This pace is in a great location but closed at 8, which is so early. Some people in my group didn't want their food fried in beer. The restaurant wasn't able to offer any solutions so my friends were limited to just a couple options. read more

Visiting DC for a weekend and found this place so I thought why not, and really glad we ended up here for lunch!! Their food was delicious! We got the Po boy sandwich, which was the perfect crunch and loved the sauce on it! Also, got the lobster bisque and omg I was obsessed! Perfectly seasoned and thick. My friends got the fish and chips and lobster roll which was also very good! We sat upstairs which was cute and we had the whole place to ourselves. Jai (the manager) was so helpful and sweet. I was on my own looking for a place to have some great food and stopped in here - originally thinking to take it to go. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm hello, and the service stays upbeat and attentive throughout your visit. Even when the place is busy (and it often is), the team moves quickly, and you can expect your meal in a reasonable amount of time, which I really appreciated. The vibe is cozy and casual, with limited indoor seating spread between upstairs and downstairs, plus some outdoor tables. It's not ideal for large groups, but perfect for solo diners or small parties. I've gone during off-hours and had the downstairs to myself but have also dined with a groups when its packed wall to wall. It really just depends on the time of day! I ordered the lobster sandwich (the regular one) and I really enjoyed it. it was a little bit on the small side and I got a side salad with that. If I had not gotten the side salad, I'm not sure if the sandwich alone would have filled me up. I was really hungry. What I like about this lobster roll is that it's not overly buttery and the bread isn't super thick and overwhelming. The lobster was really fresh. The salad could I have had more vegetables but it was fine and fresh, too. I spent about $30 - was it worth it? This was the best lobster roll I ever had. Our party of 8 ordered a lot of food. Our group had the seafood combination, crab cake, lobster grill cheese, lobster rolls, and oysters. Everything tasted really really good and came to the table hot and fresh. The service was awesome. The only thing I can say slightly negative is that there isn't a lot of space inside so if you have a large party you need to call to reserve seating. Their outside seating is really pretty.
