    Super smash burger

This restaurant has awesome food and great service! We paid to rent a spot in their pool room, it was so much fun! Awesome restaurant with an awesome atmosphere and right on the water, I would definitely recommend this restaurant to locals or anyone vacationing. The price was very reasonable too

Had the poor boy shrimp sandwich with fries, buddy had Balt and hamburger. Hidden by river front with excellent pricing and no crowds. Our waitress was very sweet and thoroughly enjoyed after a Kaminsky House visit!

What a wonderful find on the waterfront in Georgetown, South Carolina! The service from Danielle was excellent! Food was fresh and delicious. I highly recommend their hummus and pimento cheese appetizer. Homemade deliciousness with veggies and warm pitas. The pimento mac and cheese is amazing. The salmon dishes were cooked to order and done perfectly. Love the view of the board walk and water. Full separate bar and waterfront outdoor seating. Smaller menu but good food. Family friendly for sure. We will visit again!

Today Kat and I brought my mom to Georgeetown SC for some shopping and lunch. We came to the corner tavern for lunch. Holy cow were they busy. That's a good sign right? Well after a little wait and some more time waiting for food, it sure was worth the wait. The food was out of this world. From smoked Thai chili wings my jalapeño burger, and kats veggie burger. All outstanding. Our bartender, Whitney, was thr only bartender for the bar and servers. She rocked it and was on point with drinks. She was running around like crazy and everyone was taken care of. We will return to corner tavern

Great place for a drink in the A/C. Ended up getting an order of hand cut fries, as well. Can't beat the view and our bartender, Lo, was great. Definitely will be back next time we're in Georgetown!

By far the worst food in Georgetown. Greasy and cold seafood. If unfortunately you have to eat here stay clear of seafood.

Here's a fun, original review you can post for Buzz's Roost:…read more If you're driving from Charleston to Myrtle Beach after work, do yourself a favor and skip the predictable Taco Bell drive-thru. Instead, take a scenic detour to Georgetown's charming Front Street and Riverwalk, where dinner feels like the start of a mini vacation. We pulled into Buzz's Roost around 8 p.m. on a cool, damp Friday night in May, and the New England clam chowder was exactly what the doctor ordered. Warm, creamy, and comforting, it melted away the stress of the workweek with the very first spoonful. Our blackened fresh fish sandwiches were outstanding. The fish was perfectly cooked, and the seasoning had just the right kick to remind you that simple food can still be unforgettable. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. With its exposed brick interior and waterfront setting, Buzz's Roost feels like a cozy warehouse transformed into a laid-back riverfront hangout. Friendly service made us feel right at home, and the skeeball and foosball tables were tempting enough that we're already planning a return visit. I can easily picture coming back on a warm summer evening--or even during football season--to soak in the Riverwalk views, enjoy a great meal, and unwind. They also brew their own beer, which is a nice touch. My only wish is that they offered a non-alcoholic beer on draft for those of us making the road trip and keeping it light. Buzz's Roost is more than just a restaurant stop--it's a reminder that sometimes the best part of the journey is pulling over and discovering a place you can't wait to revisit.

Service was great except our waiter did not check back for some time and I literally had to ask a passing server for a refilling of water. But everyone was polite and the smiles seemed very genuine. Ambiance is reflective of Georgetown (historic and charming) though this is an enclosed part of The George Hotel.

Every dish felt curated and intentional. We started with the crab dip and corn bread and both were delicious. The Miso butter that comes with the cornbread gave it such a pleasant Umami note. For dinner we had the Chicken, Scallops, Pork Chop, and Shrimp and Grits. The carrot puree that held the scallops was so smooth, sweet, and rich. It complimented the scallops perfectly. My shrimp and grits were fantastic. The grits were the perfect texture, and the shrimp cooked to perfection. The bone in pork chop was perfectly cooked, was seasoned so well, and extremely tender and juicy. I think I was most impressed with the chicken, sweet potatoes, and bacon jam. It's hard to explain but the bourbon bacon jam almost tasted like how it smells when they smoke a cocktail, in the best way. The sweet potatoes tasted incredible and balanced out the savory chicken. I really can't recommend this resteraunt enough. From the food, to the service and the ambiance, everything was fantastic. I've dined at a handful of Michelin starred resteraunts and the overall quality and completion of the dishes here easily competes and surpasses those experiences. Thank you for such a wonderful dinner
