I started to treat myself at Georgetown Allure medical spa few months ago when I purchased a membership and have visited their beautiful spa once every few weeks. My last treatment was today, this time I came for Microneedling with Fillerina. They used this tiny little needle to punctuate literally hundreds of tiny little holes in my skin!!! I'm serious lol!!! These little holes allow (so I was explained ) "micro channels " which facilitate skin ingredients such as serums or other techniques, to penetrate all the way to the deeper layer of the skin. That process kicks skin into healing mode and stimulates collagen and elastin production! This plumps skin and reduce the appearance of wrinkles, lines, hyperpigmentation, scars and pores. (Note while microneedling should be amazing for acne scars , it cannot be done with active acne. Again, only post acne scars can be treated). They esthetician started by applying a mild numbing cream to my skin. Then with a derma roller on the surface of the skin the process started. This took around 20-30 minutes and was painless!! (Which honestly was my main concern lol!) read more

Few months ago I signed up for a non-surgical face-lift unlimited package at Georgetown Allure. Although the price was relatively high, I am very happy to recommend this treatment to my fellow Washingtonians or whom it may be of an interest, for few reasons: 1. The results. I am very very pleased at what I am seeing reflected from my mirror since I started this treatment. Nothing in the past gave me such results while I never wanted to for invasive or surgical procedures. 2. Why but products at one place, get your facial somewhere else and get your face lift at another. Georgetown Allure business model is just different than what I have seen so far. While their facility is very high end and their treatment rooms and staff are very professional, informative and just simply kind, they carry a full skin care line, exclusive in the U.S to this spa and provide you with all the creams and serum and products that you may need, meaning that actually you save money on these products over time. I had a facial during a special promotion at Georgetown Allure. I was welcomed warmly by several staff in the waiting area before being escorted to the room by an esthetician, Jhovonnah. The room was neat and clean and had a nice, comfortable atmosphere. I even met Adam who popped in momentarily soon after I entered the room. He was quite friendly and showed interest in what service I was having. After I filled out a brief questionnaire, my facial began. It was very soothing and I liked Jhovonnah's firm yet soft touch when applying the product. Her attentiveness to the task, gentle spirit and kindness in making sure I felt okay made it easy for me to be calm and enjoy the experience. My face felt refreshed and soft when the facial was done and amazingly I felt relaxed. Then, before leaving a staff member invited me to have a skin analysis. It was quite detailed and done using camputer sensing, and she happily explained specifics from my results as well as recommendations. I went today for a hydro facial they were promoting on IG for $115 Greated very nicely by front reception, very clean inviting environment. I was asked to go into a room that smelled really good and relaxing. My esthetician was "Saedi" when I tell you she was GREAT!!! Her hands are god sent she gave me the BEST shoulder, Face massage I have ever had during a facial! She went in on my T~Zone area and extracted all my blackheads. I upgraded and got the the hydro gel and led for $30 each. Saedi explained everything she did and gave me recommendations on face routines. I really Loved how my face looked afterward. When done I was taken to another room to get an eval of my face and how it's aging that was scary to look beyond the surface! But also very educating! They offered their membership package and other anti aging products they have but we're not pushy sales! I saw Sedi, who put me at ease, and after ~1hr 15mins of numbing cream, the procedure wasn't bad at all. In fact, I ended up going for 2 more treatments with her 2 months in a row for 3 sessions in total - all of which were better than expected, and I am already noticing improvements. Highly recommend!!
