I hired Josh, who arrived timely, even giving me an eta on his arrival. He came by and quickly got to work on the gutters. He had those done in a quick amount of time and started his pressure wash. He noticed right away the chemicals weren't mixing with the wash and after several attempts, he told me he would need to come back. He said he would be back mid week- and sure enough, Josh texted me that he would be arriving at my house. He is a newer business, and was so communicative and genuine, I completely trusted him and I was not let down! When I arrived at my house on Friday, it looked like it had been painted! All the dirt, grime, green, webs, leaves and glop were gone! My house looks stunning! I was awestruck! Not only did the house look amazing but Josh also removed a branch of a tree that was sitting on my roof- he and I had talked about it briefly before he left the first time, and that is going over and above- and much appreciated. I would highly recommend Josh's services to anyone- he is fast, friendly, honest and hardworking. Who better to trust the exterior of you home than an actual firefighter! Witnessed the geriatric guy on the crew manhandle my patio furniture. The crew should bring whatever survival gear they need and not touch the homeowners property. One of the crew parked his truck in the grass! Would that be acceptable to do at his home? On the day it rained, I came home to find water spots on the ceilings of three rooms. I was told I need to paint that. WRONG!! I don't need to do a thing - the roofing company needs to make arrangements to have it painted and not just touched up. Why wasn't a tarp put down to prevent this?!?!? Found a number of screws, pieces of tar paper / old shingles and nails in the grass and on the driveway. Now they are working on another unit across the street. They have no reason to be near my house. On my camera, I see a guy behind my house walking to another house that has a lot of trees and is somewhat secluded. He has no reason to be going there. My guess is he relieved himself in that neighbors yard. UNACCEPTABLE!! No skill and for sure no class!

We did our research and this company has been around since 1996 in Perry, Ohio. They gave us the most reasonable quote out of several competitors. We had a wide range of color options for the shingles, too. After a bit of a wait because of busy season, (which is to be expected) we were squeezed in on a beautiful, sunny day. The roofing crew was prompt, courteous, hard working and got 90% of our roof done in one day, only having to come back for a few hours the next day to add the finishing touches of ridge vents and cap shingles. They were also very thorough in cleaning up afterwards. (Because there's nothing worse than a nail in your car tire!) Our new roof is beautiful! We're so glad we went with K&K! Here's what happened:     *    Salesperson JESSE promised me a TPO membrane roof -- I got cheap peel-and-stick roofing instead.     *    I was upcharged for plywood that I later found buried under trash they left behind.     *    They claimed they tarped my brand-new composite deck -- instead, it now has deep scratches and TAR pressed into it.     *    I was harassed for payment the same day the job was finished, even though the work was a disaster.     *    I've had nails in my tires and nails jammed between my new deck boards ever since.     *    I brought in professional roofers afterward -- the roof is so badly done, it all needs to be torn off and redone. When I called to get answers, HARRY (the general manager) hung up on me and BLOCKED my number. This company is completely unprofessional and dishonest. I had cheaper bids, but trusted S & K because of their reputation. That trust was a huge mistake. SAVE YOURSELF the stress, damage, and expense. Go with literally ANY other company.
