Update: George's Cleaners Fixed My Shirt and Made it Right! The owner called me today saying my shirt was ready. I replied that maybe he hadn't heard about what happened Monday, started to explain, and he was like "No, no - we were able to get it out. I happens sometimes. Sorry about that." I picked it up and he was very nice. I apologized for losing my temper the other day, but let him know that the way I treated was entirely unacceptable, effectively calling me a liar and refusing to find a solution. Anyway - the owner's a good guy and I'll be happy to continue going there since he made up for the mistake. I'm amending my 1 start to a 3. ---- Original Post ------ They ruined a brand new shirt and are refusing to reimburse me for it. I brought them a shirt to dry clean, which I wore one time for a job interview, and when I picked it up it had a massive stain on the right sleeve. I know it wasn't there when I brought it in, and they are just denying this and refusing to reimburse me. They are claiming that mistakes like that never happen and just refusing to hear my side of the story. I would encourage everyone to stay away from this dishonest and unreasonable place. read more

m so grateful for the extra care and effort at George's Cleaners! I brought in my tan suit after someone accidentally got lipstick on it at a party. When the regular dry cleaning didn't remove the stain, the woman helping me didn't give up. She explained that the fabric could handle hand cleaning and asked my permission to give it a try. I agreed, and she got the stain out completely! My suit came back looking as good as new. I really appreciate her taking the extra time and care to make that happen. Thank you for going above and beyond. I highly recommend George's Cleaners! read more

I brought my wedding dress and reception dress to George's Cleaners to get them steamed before my big day. They charged $80 total for both dresses, which I thought was reasonable. They did a good job--the dresses looked great and were wrinkle-free. The whole process took about a week. I'd recommend them if you need professional steaming done for special occasion outfits. read more

Our family has been enjoying the fine service and good humor of Sonia and Mike since 2017. They provide excellent service and have always done a great job with our clothing (including leather jackets) and our rugs and comforters. While we do not always remember their names when we pull up to the drive in window, we remember their faces and they remember ours. Hardworking. Honest. People of Integrity. And they take pride in their work. We are grateful small business owners like this are near our home. read more

I have used George Cleaners on Lavista Road for years due to its proximity, and each time I visit the owner is always rude, unfriendly, and acts like he don't like Americans, he treats his customers like he has an entitlement. I will not use his cleaners ever again. This week was the final straw!!!! And he does not clean your clothes that good!!! read more

George's Cleaners - Laundry Services Near Me - Tucker, Georgia

Just moved to the area and was looking for a dry cleaner close to home. I dropped off some white microfiber chair slip overs and was told they'd be ready in three days. I came back on a Saturday morning, pulled up to their drive through window and got finge free slip covers. The owner Sonia was very kind and she took the time to hang the slip covers and see that I was happy with them. Will be returning :) read more

I went in to have a dress cleaned and noticed the negative demeanor of the clerk.; it was overtly racist.I was told that it would be $8. When I went back to pick up dress it was the same racist overtone.I then noticed that the clerk had written $9 on ticket after our initial conversation that it would be $8. He started the process to charge my debit card when I noticed it said $9. Refused to pay for the $1 overcharge and asked him to void transaction. He wanted me to insert my card before he rectified the overcharge. I refused and paid with cash. The whole transaction with the clerk felt like a racially motivated encounter. I will NEVER go back. read more

I needed an emergency press/iron of a dress shirt that I was already wearing on my way to work. After debating about whether or not I should head back home for a replacement shirt, I decided to contact the closest cleaners requesting a 20 minute turnaround time. George's Cleaners told me that they could get it done. When I got there and saw everyone already working on a lot items, I was skeptical they could get to my shirt in 20 minutes. Anyway, I gave them my shirt, sat in my car, and 20 minutes later they were waving me in to pickup my shirt. My shirt was pressed well and I headed on my way to work with a crisp shirt. Many thanks to them for delivering on-time and as promised on my unconventional service request. read more

I've had my dry cleaning done here for about 2 months now. Frankly, I chose them for location. That being said, they are a no-nosense, friendly shop. They are locally owned, with an ethnically diverse staff and everyone working there seems very jovial; they constantly joke with each other as well as the customers. They recognize their regulars, too. Their prices are very reasonable, and they have "drive thru" service if that is important to you. They also do alterations, although I have not utilized them for that service yet. I knocked them down a few stars because I did have one shirt that was brand new (took it out of the packaging before dropping it off) and it came back ruined with some sort of oily stains (as from machinery). I tend to take a zen-like view to things like that: I'd had 60 - 70 garments cleaned by them at that point and only one shirt got ruined? I can let that slide. I mention it only to explain the number of stars I gave them. Overall, I recommend George's Cleaners. They don't do anything that other cleaners won't do, but they are friendly, located conveniently across from Dunken Donuts, affordable, and always have my clothes ready when they say they will, if not earlier. read more

The service here at George's Cleaners in excellent!! I spilled red wine on a gold coverlet from Ashley's that cost me $300. George's cleaners was able to get the red wine out which is very rare. The staff is nice and the service is efficient. I highly recommend their services!! read more

Terrible customer service. Lied to me about having lost a pair of khakis several times over the course of a week and kept trying to offer me some guy's ragged dockers as some sort of weird peace offering. Also, I was originally told next day service, but actually had to come back 3 times to pick up the rest of my garments. Each employee uses "I don't know, you'll have to wait and talk to so and so" like it's part of the training manual. Avoid this place at all costs! read more

I am very pleased with Georges Cleaners. The owner Sonya greets me so kindly, and my clothes look perfect! My beige London Fog coat had gotten dingy on recent travel through various airports. They made it look brand new! My other clothes are equally fresh. I will use this cleaners from now on, and highly recommend it! Pamela W. read more

STAY AWAY, The first time I came here it should've been a sign to me when they ended up giving me someone else's clothing. I vowed off, but my well meaning husband continued to take clothing over there. Since then, they have lost so many items of my clothing I can hardly believe it. I have to wear suits to work. They have a lost an obscene Number of my suit pants. read more

The people are really nice and the Indian lady upfront really helped me out. Will definitely be coming back here again!!!

I brought George's Cleaners my wool winter coat (about $150 in value) for cleaning. They ruined it. It came back with these disgusting oil stains all over it and the arm ripped. They did absolutely NOTHING for reimbursement. I asked for money for the present day value of the coat and he said, "No sorry, we don't do that." I then asked if they had insurance coverage to file a claim for damaging goods and he said, "No, we don't have that." It was absurd. I had about $25 worth of other laundry to pick up and he wouldn't even give me those back free of charge or give me a store credit. NOTHING for ruining a $150 coat that obviously I had to immediately go replace for winter. Very unprofessional and poor customer service. STAY AWAY. read more

Geroges Cleaners has been great. Everyone has been so nice and helpful. I really appreciate there customer service. Just moved in the area at the end of last year and am so glad I found them. Everything done on site, I really like the fact that they are a small business and they take there business serious. I would recommend them to anyone. Thanks Again...... read more

Please do yourself a favor and not use this cleaners. They seem to price at their discretion and not follow posted pricing. They make up things and change the prices continuously, for example the shirt was hand pressed because of the material, haha. The shirt was a normal everyday dress shirt. So do yourself a huge favor and find a different dry cleaners. Wish I could give no stars read more

$270 for three rugs and they did nothing to them. They came back smelling WORSE with dog hair still all over them. Five minutes' vacuuming did more for the rugs than the professional cleaning I paid for. My husband is really good at working with stores and getting results when we have a bad experience somewhere (which is rare) but he got nowhere with these guys. They neither cared nor offered any kind of refund/credit when requested. read more

I don't often post but feel compelled at this time. I want to recommend AGAINST the use of George's Cleaners on Lavista near Northlake. They ruined two prices of my clothing. A small spot has not become a stain covering most of the front of a shirt and they broke every button on another shirt. In addition when I called to complain to the "manager" she said she was working on something else and would call me back and hung up. No call back. read more

My shirt came back with NEW stains on it. They tried to clean it again but it was the same. Pricing is posted but never seems to follow it. Find someone else. read more

Terrible and rude service. The manager raised his voice at me after my alteration came back wrong. I requested he refund my money or fix the garmet and he refused. Now I have a blazer that was worth over $100 and was ruined after I paid $25 (which is very high) to have the sleeves tailored. They came back much shorter than they were marked at top of my hand and when I bend my arm are halfway up to my elbow!!!! I complained immediately. He told me "you have very smart answers" in a sarcastic tone. I told him "well I am a smart person". Tell all your friends you dry clean here at your own risk they do not stand behind their work. read more

Have been using Georges for many years and they treat us like family. Sonal and her brother are very gracious. Quality very good. Occasionally you'll get a broken button, but they are fast to fix it.Also, they go out of their way on special requests read more

My husband and I have been loyal customers here for at least 3 years; the location is convenient and the prices are reasonable. But after change in ownership about a year ago, the quality of service has changed tremendously. I've had to return several pieces of clothing on more then one occasion due to simple stains not being removed and and unable to locate a pair of pants to one of my husbands suits. After giving them several chances to improve their services, we've decided to no longer use George's Cleaners and hope that some day they will improve the services by upgrading their intake system with a PC and new software instead of handwritten tickets/receipts. Maybe that'll help. read more

Cleaning is average for the expense. Don't have a basic shoe repair done there.
