The price per person for parties is fantastic! They have multiple tiers of both children and adult parties, as well as corporate and fundraising events. We had chicken fingers and pizza, and both were better than you'd expect at a bowling alley. The party even had a coordinator; he kept the time very on track, and was very accommodating. I'd definitely recommend Plainfield Lanes as a local outing or party spot!

We used Google Navigation and it lead us directly to the place. If you miss the entrance, it might be a little annoying to backtrack but no big issues. Parking was no issues and it is very big compared to the size of the building. We showed up on a busy Wednesday where it is penny pins so you only pay a penny per pin you knock down. Essentially...the worst you are, the cheaper your game will be. Inside the building is very nice and clean. There are two entrances..one is a "restaurant" and the other is the decent sized arcade and bowling. There is a self serving beer tap. And they do serve food. They do a little star less due to the prices of the food as well. It is better than your traditional bar/bowling food but it is a little more expensive. Also, I do enjoy the service of the self serving beer tap. They had a lot of selections of beer, 1-2 seltzers, 1 cider and ~5 wine selection. Also, they do have a "limit" of ~32 oz where the bartender can allow you or less depending on how you act. I do appreciate that so while you can drink feely, no one is getting drunk. I think we were paying ~.60 cents an oz and it does tell you how much your drink will cost as you are pouring. Also, they do have a small water station will is greatly appreciated. The arcade is decently sized. They do have a lot of selections of games but it is not a place where I would go just for the arcade. The size is good for after bowling or while you are waiting for your lane. Overall, I am very impressed with this location. Food, self serving beer tap, and arcades... I am fan of Twisted Pins and I would be back in the future.

A few days earlier, I had ordered flowers online from a competing website to be delivered by 3 pm on Friday but they hadn't been delivered so I reached out to MD Creations. It was after hours but I was desperate to make sure there were flowers at the funeral. I texted the numbers provided on their voicemail and heard back from Carlos within minutes. I explained my situation and he shared photos of a beautiful arrangement Maria put together for another engagement. It was exactly what I had in mind and at a great price. Although their business doesn't open until 10 am Saturday, Carlos promised they would go in early to create the arrangement and he would hand-deliver to the church by 9:30 am. The service was scheduled for 10:30 am. This morning, Carlos texted me a photo of the delivered arrangement. Another wonderful personal touch that eased my mind. To say I was beyond grateful is an understatement. Thank you so very much Carlos and Maria for pulling off this miracle for me with such short notice!! Right away we knew she was the right fit for us. She took the time to get to know us before we contracted, so both sides knew what they were getting into. We picked the Full Planning Package, and that allowed us to occasionally get distracted by buying a house and major job changes without worrying that we were losing track of our wedding checklist and timetable. We met frequently and every time I came away feeling more and more prepared for the day. She brought things up I wouldn't have even considered, she helped give advice but never pushed. On the day of the wedding I didn't have to think about anything but what was happening in the moment. A truly precious gift. Kristen and her assistant really went above and beyond. The day truly felt like us. Thank you Kristen for being a rock for us throughout everything!! My idea was to have different elements of the wedding represent various princess movies, in a classy way. Sometimes Disney weddings can come off as tacky, and that was the last thing I wanted. I love garden flowers and roses, so I wanted to use those in our bouquets and then for the centerpieces, I wanted to represent the movie Beauty and the Beast. When I met with Sue for the initial consultation, I had the beginnings of an idea for centerpieces, which involved a rose under a glass dome, flowers in teapots, and candelabras. Sue was able to flesh out my ideas into something that was beautiful beyond words. My mom and I talked with another florist before meeting Sue, and that person treated my idea like the work in being creative wasn't worth the effort and she'd rather just put expensive flowers in a pretty vase. She wasn't excited to be doing something different. Sue, on the other hand, looked like she'd been stuck by creative lightening once she understood my idea and made me feel like it was the best idea she'd ever heard. Whether or not that was the case, it still meant a lot to me that she was willing to go the distance and think out of the box in order to help me achieve my vision for the wedding. Everything was beautiful and I couldn't have been happier with how all the flowers turned out. The teapots were featured as both aisle decorations in the ceremony and centerpieces at the reception. We had a floral archway that perfectly framed my husband and I in many of the photos. My bouquet, the bridesmaids' bouquets, and the boutonnieres were exactly how I wanted them. And the Beauty and the Beast centerpieces stole the show. In a word, they were elegant.
