If you want to talk to someone, you need to show up. This office does not use any electronic system database and everything is paper/files. It took me months to get a follow up referral (that the doctor had recommended) because they had not submitted the referral. I called the office countless times, left voicemails, and no responses. Once I finally spoke to someone, they said they'd be submitting the referral before the end of the week.... One month later and it still wasn't submitted until I went into person and asked for it to be done. Additionally, when I had an appointment with Dr. Marmarelis, I was disappointed in the lack of professionalism I experienced. After waiting 30 minutes for my appointment, in the middle of my appointment, he stepped out to take a phone call and in doing so, left my files AND another patients files in the room with me. It concerns me and makes me wonder if my own records are being left haphazardly around the office and my information is not being protected. The doctor did not seem to truly care of my symptoms, previous history or helping me improve my health. He quickly prescribed Topamax, while making a disgusting comment that "women love it because they lose weight." I was truly appalled. Then said my migraines were something to just manage, despite being truly debilitating at times. First, he spent the better part of an hour with me, asking questions, reviewing things, clarifying, and examining. He is really cheerful, very thorough, non-judgmental (I have 40 lb I should lose and not once did he ask me why I hadn't). Staff is also excellent there. My wait time was only about 10 minutes. Caveat: they don't take credit cards, so take cash or checkbook for your co pay. They do draw blood there for lab work, which my insurance company said wasn't done, so I did have to come back a day later, fasting, for blood draws, but that's not the practice's error, that's an error on the part of the insurance company. This is truly a wonderful, caring doctor.

My experience with Dr. Lugliani was always a good experience. Dr. Lugliani was always friendly and a great help in dealing with my physical ailments. Even to this day, I think of Dr. Lugliani from time to time. I found the staff to be friendly. My only complaint would be that the wait times would often times be quite long. This is the reason why that I only gave 4 stars rather than 5 stars.
