Fast, professional, competent. Submitted a request for quote online to replace all the hardware on two exterior doors. They responded within a few minutes. After a brief exchange of messages and a short phone call, Omar, the tech, was on his way. Turns out only part of the hardware had to be replaced and we would have him re-key everything else to match the new hardware. He had to return to the shop to get the hardware and texted pictures of the two options so we could choose. After he returned to our house, he wrote up the detailed estimate and had me sign. The quote included one hour of labor but he had to add another half hour because he had to enlarge one of the existing holes so the new hardware would fit. Total cost was just under $400, and total time from arrival to receipt was about 2 1/2 hours (labor was 1 1/2 hours). Trip charge, hourly rate, and each re-key price were good, hardware seemed a little high. They use Kwikset lock sets that have the smart key feature. Next time might go get the hardware ourselves. But worth the money to have it done same day and done right. We would definitely call them again if we need locksmith services. read more

My friend was in a bad accident. While house sitting, I accidentally closed the front door behind me (the door automatically locks). Since I was on the phone at the time and had no other choice, I was able to call a locksmith. What made me a tremendous fan of George's was what happened next. George called me within 5 minutes and was at my friend's house within 25 minutes. He was fast, efficient and a total pro! Honestly, I expected to pay at least double as I've heard horror stories about locksmith charges in the past. This was not the case with George. I could tell he cared about me and not just his fees, that he takes pride in his work and actually supports his customers. Who does that? I have told multiple people about George's excellent service and will recommend him in the future. Thanks George, you're simply the BEST! read more

I was dog sitting and lost the key to my friend's house, I called many companies and none of them wanted to help since it's not my house. Finely I found "George DFW Locksmith" he was very nice and friendly over the phone and said that first he is coming and we will find solution, when he was on the way he asked me to get a hold of the owners and send him an email with their picture ID and consent letter for the service, by the time he came they already sent the letter. He got into the house quickly and since I had to lock the door later on he even rekeyed the lock and gave me 2 keys. I really appreciate him doing above and beyond to provide service to me, this guy is definitely a dog lover which made my day much better! Thank you very much! read more

We called to have Georege install a new more complicated cylinder into a new lock on our front door, which one company had no idea how to fix the lock. George came out and had no problem fixing our new lock for our front door in about 20 minutes. He is very personable and knowledgeable. Our door had new paint which he was very careful not to scratch. We will never call anyone else if we have problems with a lock. I am giving all the information to our large family in case they need a locksmith. He deserves a 10 star not a 5. A big "YEA" when you call someone answeres the phone, hard to find nowadays!!!! read more

Jorge has helped me several times, both with helping a mom who lost her keys (me) as well as changing our house locks. I can't recommend him enough.. He was very quick to come to the rescue when I needed his help (crying baby + lost keys = very bad day). He is also very knowledgeable in his field.. He patiently sat with me and my husband to come up with the most appropriate lock system for our home. As soon as we decided what we wanted, he got to work and with the blink of an eye was done! A perfectly done, clean job.. Could a mom ask for more? read more

Long story short. Was on a phone call, stepped out of the truck momentarily and My kid locked my keys in my truck, while helping get all his back to school gear out. His elbow hit the lock button as the door was closing. Not only was I locked out of the truck, but out of the house as well. Called up Jorge. Lets just say he showed up really fast, unlocked the truck. Jorge was fast and affordable. Programmed his number in my phone, just incase there are any future occurrences. read more
