I took my friend's 2007 Corolla to George after she was told that her car needed a transmission by one guy and a new engine by another guy, with quotes of $2500 and up for her to fix. The inconsistency of their diagnoses was suspicious to say the least. I took the car to George's ON A SATURDAY EVENING and he correctly diagnosed it as frozen brakes. He worked on it all day Sunday and had it ready for me on Monday. The car is running great now and I'm very happy with the service. An added bonus is that George also owns the Nicaraguan restaurant next to his shop and that place has great fried plantains and coffee - not your typical Starbucks offering. Don't go here! We requested diagnostics on a 2021 Mercedes GLE 350 Jorge had the car for over a month said he didn't have mechanic to do the work finally he said the motor was no good and then didn't have a mechanic to put the motor back together. He uses Young mechanics that don't seem to know what they're doing in my opinion and then after repeatedly calling him to see when we could get our car he says it's going to be $400 and that he needed an additional $80 for oil the whole time I had a weird bad feeling about this place and it showed at the end his true colors. If you look at his other reviews, they're all similar with him even trying to buy a truck from someone that he diagnosed he never came up with a actual diagnostic print out either just super shady. The daughter comes and tries to make up a lot of stuff that she doesn't know what she's talking about, Jorge told me I just needed money and that Americans do this kind of stuff I asked him. What the hell are you talking about? Anyways the car broke down 2 miles from the shop after I left because they never put it back together properly either with these young mechanics that are random .. when I told him what happened about the car and asked him to give me a couple hundred bucks back. When I got my 2nd hand car, I immediately looked for a mechanic who can check and replace all necessary parts and repairs for it. I stumbled online and gave George Auto Care a try. He's excellent and professional! He also gave us freebies and discounts! Last week, I accidentally activated the airbag light due to removing the seat and starting the car. I texted him if he can reset it for me, he replied he'll do anything to help. This review is long overdue, but I made it a point to make sure to write one because George is legit a lifesaver! He definitely deserves all of the business and success. First, he's one of the rare few that is actually open on a Sunday which already makes him stand out. However, he is incredibly honest, transparent, and reliable. He really went above and beyond to try to repair our car after it broke down on a late Saturday night and I had it towed directly to his place hoping to speak with him in the morning, but luckily he was still at the garage and told me he would take a look in the morning and give me a call. I felt safe leaving my vehicle there overnight. He attempted repairs and was completely honest with what could and couldn't be done from the start. He was upfront with his pricing, options, and time line which made everything much less worrisome for us.
