I was very disappointed and a little embarrassed. The whole garden was in a state of neglect. There were leaves floating on the Koi Pond, which was the home of only two Koi. Furthermore there was algae growing in the pond which gave it the appearance of a swamp. The rest of the garden appeared neglected. There were no labels identifying the plants. Identifying plants is minimum expectation of a public garden. I would preferred a reference to their significance. At bare minimum the garden could have weeded and raked. I feel this garden was a disgrace to the city of Olympia and an insult to our Asian population

This is the biggest national forest I've ever visited! There are many ways to get in, but one thing…read moreis for sure..do not follow this Yelp address. It will only take you to the headquarters. The forest is an hour away from this building. You can type in the name into any map and choose one of the entrances. The way we went was through a back road passing several homes in the flat valley that's surrounded by mountains and woods. It will lead you to the welcome sign, then you'll pass a camp ground. There are less people going this way, so the hikes might only have 1/2 a dozen people on it. You will see many trails options, and they will all be gorgeous! The Skokomish Lower South Fork Trail is a great one. It has a very small gravel parking area, and it is a 6 mile hike in total. You'll go in 3 miles to Brown Creek, and then back 3 miles. I would say it's a semi strenuous hike. There's some down hill, and uphill, but mostly its level. Bring plenty of water, SPF, and snacks. Also stop at the restroom just before heading up the gravel road to the beginning of the trail. You'll pass a few little ice cold babbling brooks that will be very easy to walk across without getting your feet wet.

I accidentally booked a 16+ room, paying only attention to the FAQ page that said it is a great activity for all ages. I have done this before by accident, now I see it in all caps. I don't mean to be careless at all, nor inconvienance anyone. I booked a party for second graders. They were so nice. They flooded the clue gates and were gracious when one of the kids broke a prop . I was preparing for a confrontation or cold frot after we left, but they were warm and happy. We all were happy. This was one of the most sophisticated and impressive escape rooms we've seen. What a treasure for our beautiful city. And we got through, as the kids have said for the last night and day, with "5 seconds left on the clock". All seven elementary school girls were enthusiastic and rose to each challenge with intellect, humor and vigor. I can't impress upon you enough what a positive experience this was for my family. Thank you for the kindness, the creativity and the challenge. It is all I could ever want for a celebration of life.

I've supported this bowling alley for years, but the new ownership has made it very clear that…read morelongtime customers are no longer the priority. $40 an hour to bowl on a Saturday? Seriously? That is an outrageous price for a local bowling alley, especially when the experience hasn't improved enough to justify it. If anything, it feels like we're paying more and getting less. I also hardly recognize the place anymore. Many of the employees I've known for years are gone, and those familiar faces were a big partof what made this feel like a local bowling center rather than just another business trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of its customers. I work hard for my money, and I'm certainly not going to throw it away on an experience that I no longer feel is worth the price. There are plenty of other ways I can spend $40 an hour. It's disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed supporting go in this direction. But at these prices and with the way things have changed, you've lost me as a customer.

I would recommend this place as it has a normal skating and night skating. There are also occasionally races and games which make skating more fun as it adds activities. As I said, not usually busy, and has lots of space to sit down. They also serve food and drinks such as pizza, nachos, tator tots and more along with slushies and other drinks. The slushies are three dollars and usually have 2 flavors that you can mix if you want. Employees are nice and I don't really have anything bad to say. Not the nicest place but it definitely works and is really fun with family and friends!

Upon Googling "ninja classes," we actually found a Groupon for Ascend Gymnastics in DuPont. I called that location, and they suggested we try the Olympia location for three reasons: 1. It was closer to our home. 2. The Groupon would work there. 3. Coach Maty was there, and he is apparently the best ninja coach they have. We're still in the Groupon discounted period, but as soon as it's over, we'll be signing up for regular lessons. The program has been challenging but fun, the coaches have been friendly, and the office staff have been helpful. The facilities are huge, clean, and in good shape. I especially like the viewing area for parents to hang out in. There is free WiFi and private, free parking.
