To all my homies who get to appointments early: Keep in mind, you can only check into your…read moreappointment at this Quest five minutes before your appointed time. I tried to check in 15 minutes early on my phone, and the system told me no and gave me a timer letting me know when the appropriate time to check in would be. This Quest is located inside Community Hospital North, and it's next door to an in-house Starbucks and a nice, airy waiting room, with lots of big windows and natural light. So I sat down and waited to check in. Once I checked in, though, I was called back within minutes. It's best to make an appointment at any Quest, but I feel like they are so efficient here that even if you didn't have an appointment, you wouldn't wait long. My phlebotomist was friendly and professional as she took my lifeblood from me. The whole process went quickly and somewhat painlessly. She was very nice and asked me if I wanted a countdown before she stuck the needle in, and I said no and to just do it. She did it, and it was over quickly. The only downside to this location is the construction surrounding the building, and the fact that this Quest Diagnostics is located in a busy hospital so parking is kind of a pain. Otherwise, I would put this Quest on my list of locations to visit if I need a blood draw.

But if you choose to walk in it's best to do it early in the morning. I did a walk in at 8:45am and I was seen a little before 9am even though it said I would have to wait until 9:15am. The phlebotomist was very gentle and had listened to my tips on what to use to draw my blood. The employee I had was quick and efficient. The waiting area was clean.

This is a much better score than mine from a couple of years ago. That one was a 1 star!…read more This expoerence was much better! I had great service, although it looks like she blew my vein. I agree with the several comments that the computer system is not very friendly and the only way to make an appointment. I was a walk-in but the kiosk said I could not get an appointment for over an hour and a half later. I tried making an appointment online before I left the house but was not able to get it to work. I took the appointment because I was already fasting and did not want to wait until another day. I waited for a little bit in the waiting room and then went back out to my car for my water. I guess someone called my name while I was outside. Because I was hungry I just sat in the waiting room for my appointment. I was happy when Sara came out to ask me if I had an appointment and brought be back to have my blood drawn 50 minutes before my scheduled appointment! She was very friendly and personable! I do not like getting my blood drawn so I did not watch. It did not hurt but once I got home and took the bandage off my arm did not look good. I hope I do not end up with a big bruise!

No blood was taken prior to I asked twice and was told this was different. Drank glucose and returned for blood draw. One vial taken and bandaid applied. On the way out, I look down and blood is pouring down my arm. Bang on the door to get back in. She cleans me up, asks me if I applied pressure, and applies surgical tape. I'm not on blood thinner and have had blood drawn many times. This has never happened to me ever. Will not be returning and will likely have to retake test because no blood was taken prior to glucose.
