But if you choose to walk in it's best to do it early in the morning. I did a walk in at 8:45am and I was seen a little before 9am even though it said I would have to wait until 9:15am. The phlebotomist was very gentle and had listened to my tips on what to use to draw my blood. The employee I had was quick and efficient. The waiting area was clean.

They have no check-in desk, and you see no one official until they call you back into the room. But they do have two kiosks that will check you in. Be sure to have your ID with you, because you will need to scan your ID, front and back. I was five minutes early for my appointment, as is my M.O. They were a little backed up, though, because I had to wait about 10 minutes past my appointment time before they called me back into the blood-letting room. It was all good, though -- I didn't have anywhere to be. It seems like this Quest is a popular Quest, so keep that in mind! You might be seen on time, and you might not. I am a delicate flower, and I sometimes get woozy when I get my blood taken from me. But the phlebotomist that I saw here was efficient and made the whole thing painless. I was in and out quickly! Your nurse Terese Hughes was visibly irritated and very short with me. When she asked me if I had fasted, I told her no I had not. She told me I should have and I explained to her that I had not been told to do that by my doctor previously for the same tests. I asked her if she thought it was important enough for me to reschedule, and she said "I don't care what you do." "I have two other people in the waiting room, and it's almost five o'clock". I calmly asked her why she had such an attitude, and she told me "if I don't like it I should leave". I walked out of her office and asked the only other employee who seemed to be working there. who her supervisor was. Before she could even answer this nurse Terese had followed me and was attempting to physically keep me from talking to this other employee. The young woman I was attempting to talk to told me she was the manager and had attempted to hand me a card with a number to call. Your nurse Terese physically blocked me from accepting the card and pushed the manager's hand out of the way. As I walked into the lobby this nurse followed me and told the two people in the lobby that I was creating a hostile environment as she was literally flipping me off as I walked to the exit door. I will never use Quest Diagnostics again! I have never been treated this way at a Doctor's office or healthcare facility. I will be calling my doctor tomorrow to have another lab do my blood work.
