I arrived at 7pm and was told that an ultrasound tech…read morewas on call and had already been called due to another patient experiencing the same symptoms that I was and needing an ultrasound as well. I was told that once the tech was called, she had an hour to report in so it may be a wait. From about 8pm when I was moved to the ER side (apparently required due to needing an ultrasound), I was left in the room and would leave to go out in the hallway and check in with nurses to find out when I would be seen or any updates on the tech arriving. I did this about every half hour since I had been previously told she had an hour to report in. The tech finally saw me at 12am. During the ultrasound, she had constant phone notifications sounding off and distracting her from the procedure. At one point, she had me (the patient) hold the transvaginal probe inside of my body so that she could respond to her phone. I was already quite distressed due to the nature of going through a miscarriage, and this made it much worse. The cherry on top was the bill I received. $3400 (after insurance claims). $2000 of this portion was just due to having to check into the ER (to not be seen whatsoever) but just to have the ultrasound in that ER room. Just beware before coming here. The doctors and nurses are kind, but "on call" does not mean much to the techs. Also, beware that you will end up paying thousands if you step foot into their ER (even if no testing or care is done via ER services).

The building seems a little older but is clean and well-cared for. The front office staff, nurses, and doctors were all friendly and really attentive. My mom's last surgery in a different network and location went terribly so we were dreading it, but this experience was easy, quick, and went really well. The lobby is on the smaller side, but there were a few times I was the only person waiting so it really wasn't bad. There isn't a cafe or place to get food, but there was a coffee machine in the lobby and a few vending machines downstairs.

When I called Customer Service I did not have to wait. I explained my problem with outdated testing…read moresupplies. I was told my Glucose Meter is not manufactured anymore. Representative said that's probably the reason I have trouble getting my test strips. They have a new meter (see my photo). I already had all of my information in their system when I registered my old meter. They always gave me great service by phone and mail. Once again I was quickly provided with a new meter. It arrived in the mail in record time. The meter and 50 test strips were free. They have a very easy ordering service for additional test strips. The cost of the strips is so reasonable I may just pay out of pocket so I don't have to deal with prescription and insurance billing with deductibles. One thing that will be to Roches detriment is my desire to eliminate Finger Pricks. I'm looking into Continuous Glucose Monitors that work using an app and your phone. Medicare will cover these Monitors. Maybe Roche makes one. I'm not sure. All things considered I probably should get a new phone first! Until then I'm very happy and always have been happy using Roche Diagnostics Medical Supplies and Services. It's great to have the peace of mind that I have a back up meter in case mine acts up or dies.

Second my test result gave negative when the PCR was twice positive. I came to the conclusion that only PCR test performed by a laboratory is the valid one. Do not waste your time!
