    Chicken curry

The service was quick and friendly. The chicken curry was fabulous. Very well done. My husband had the sizzling crispy beef also very well done! I would absolutely go here again!

I really have begun to love Thai food specifically green curry and crispy duck options. In town visiting and walk past these place two days in a row before my group finally decided to try it for dinner. The food was great, BUT, they screwed up the order. Forgot to put it back in to get it right. So 4 of us were done eating when the fifth person finally got their meal. The staff was nice, but no one ever came to check on us otherwise they might have fixed the mistake earlier. Great ambiance / decor, and the staff was nice despite us talking to three different waitresses to get our initial order in, then fix our order and finally get the check, then a 4th person actually closed us out. I'll give it another try because I like Thai and truly think this was an innocent mistake, but still...

Gluten free, gluten free, good food, good service. Amazing atmosphere! Chicken pad Thai was excellent

Massive chicken green curry. Too much fish sauce.

Genting Thai was a mere mediocre dining experience. We had the pad Thai (made vegan) and the chicken green curry, and neither dish was exceptionally memorable. The pad Thai noodles were a good consistency, but the flavour just wasn't there. I like my pad Thai a little sweet and very sour; and the pad Thai here was not sour at all and just bland. However, I did like that there were a lot of veggies added to the dish. I can't comment on the green curry personally, but my boyfriend says they overloaded on the fish sauce. The flavour is nice at first, but after a while it gets overbearing. It was quite large of a portion, but the one thing that baffled me was that RICE IS SOLD SEPARATELY!! I mean, who the heck eats green curry without rice? It's either they expect us to drink the curry (ew) or pay another 3.5 euros for a bowl of rice (I can't get over how expensive things are here in Europe - that's like almost 6 Canadian dollars for a bowl of rice!!!). The service also wasn't particularly great - our server had an attitude and was not pleased when we asked if some of the menu options could be made vegan (Geez lady, we just wanted to know our options!). The reason why I gave this place a 3 star instead of a 2 despite the not-so-great service and bland food is because it was actually not bad compared to some of the other meals we had in Ireland. I really think I am spoiled with the amazing variety of authentic food that I have in Toronto and I forget that it's not the same in other parts of the world.

This restaurant has a lovely ambience and good flavors but I would be hard pressed to call it authentic and it is double the price I typically pay for Thai food. I ordered the Seafood Tom Yum starter, Seafood Red Curry, and a Bellini. Both dishes had 2 chilli pepper ratings for spiciness but the Tom Yum was distinctly spicier - I love spice so I was excited by the Tom Yum then disappointed by the Red Curry in terms of heat. I am still doubtful I was served the Tom Yum despite asking and being assured the order was correct. It was thick and creamy - I presume a coconut milk base - like a Tom Ka soup rather than the clear lemongrass broth of a Tom Yum. After getting over the fact that the dish was not what I wanted, it had a very nice flavor and a lovely spiciness. Next came the Red Curry. It looked nothing like a red curry I've had before - namely it was brown rather than red. However, it also had a lovely if not very spicy flavor. The Bellini was delicious. There was no Mano Sticky Rice on the menu so I passed on dessert.

We decided on the mixed seafood platter that was advertised as large prawns with other seafoods.. after many back and forth uncertainty from our waiter as to what the dish actually included we just went with it as we were craving seafood.. the large family style platter ended up being a small bowl of mostly curried slurry, small chewy chunks of mostly mussel and 'randomness' with ONE medium size prawn.. NO rice or Vegetables as stated. Furthermore, we had asked for a little tap water with lemon, yet served an oversized Evian that we barely drank and charged for it.. too many wrongs to make a nice.. giving an extra star because of location and beautiful concept and restaurant including patio.. maybe we just had a new server that didn't care and ordered the wrong menu item...‍‍

Decided to try on previous reviews…read more Service and Food were both superb. Great waitress very pleasant and ensured we had everything we ordered and needed. Given popadoms and prawn crackers and selection of dips after order meal which were freash and tasty to nibble on. Mains food was cooked to perfection and very fresh. Chicken in both dishes were succulent with great tasting masala and madras, rice was fluffy but not overcooked. Nan was light and crunchy, chips also crunchy and fresh. Would recommend as they also do Thai and Chinese food perhaps we'll go for that next time but the Indian was mighty good so maybe it.
