Dined: 4 adults dined on 5/16/2026 We celebrated my dad's 85th birthday. 2 ate from the seafood buffet and 2 ordered from their menu. Dining room is large and quiet. Service: the hostess was very nice/welcoming. The water server was prompt, food delivery people were nice, buffet line chef was fast. Our actual server wasn't up to par. Once he put in the order, we only saw him 1x when he checked in on the food. After that, I had to ask someone else for the check. Buffet food: there are PLENTY of options (see pics). I've been to many buffets in Vegas (not so many now since Covid) including recently Bacchanal / Caesars. The food quality at Genting is excellent. They cut the Peking Duck right in front of you and it is PHENOMENAL! The seafood hot & sour soup, shrimp cocktail, crab legs, Cantonese lobster, dim sum and green beans w/ steak are EXCELLENT! For $88/person, my 2 complaints: no dessert options and compared to Bacchanal's price of $92/person, Genting doesn't offer nearly as much options. Menu items: we ordered the Chilean Sea bass (presentation on plate is less than desired but it was flavorful and moist), Marinated cucumber (beautiful presentation and good tasting) and BBQ Boneless Duckling (excellent presentation and very tasty but not as good as Peking Duck) * They did offer free birthday desserts! * We will go back to try other menu items but probably not the buffet! read more

This is one of the AYCE buffets that I have wanted to try out but $88 per person was a bit pricey for such a small buffet. So my friend had some credit staying at the Crockford so that price was a little more palatable. We had a reservation for 1 pm but honestly the restaurant was not crowded at all. We were seated near the buffet area which consisted of two sections. The food was mainly Chinese food but cooked very well. Service was amazing and the sommelier approached my friend as he was perusing through the wine menu which was very extensive. The ambiance was a little on the dark side and expressed a more formal feel. Bottom line the food was very good and service was excellent. However the pricing was a little on the steep side. The number 8 used in the pricing denotes wealth in Cantonese. It's an experience to try at least once. read more

I had a great experience at Genting Palace. I tried their dinner buffet, and the seafood selection--oysters, scallops, and prawns--was great and very fresh, snow crab was a bit salty. Lobster was the Cantonese style, tastes delicious very flavorful. The Peking duck was excellent, with perfectly crispy skin and rich flavor. What truly stood out was the service. Jennifer, my waitress, was exceptionally kind and attentive. She served with genuine care, making this one of the best dining experiences I've had. I will definitely go back again. read more

Arrived in Las Vegas for the close of 2025 and booked a reservation here at Resorts World. The interior of the restaurant is elegant and impressive - yet cozy. Genting Palace is an upscale Cantonese Chinese restaurant were you can order ala carte or opt for the seafood buffet which during the holidays included Stir fried lobster. The buffet doesn't offer 100's of entrees but a smaller selection of quality items such as sweet snow crab, fresh oysters, shrimp cocktail, Peking duck, roasted pork, select dim sum, stir fried veggies, soup of the day and fresh fruits. I concentrated on my favorites which was the seafood but the crispy roast pork and Peking duck served with buns were outstanding tasting. The desserts were yummy and smaller portions, so we tried a variety of items which our friendly and professional waiter Victor hand picked for us. Unlike some of the other buffets on the strip, the beverages and coffee were included in the buffet price. I really enjoyed this restaurant and would definitely return here in the future. read more

Saw an YouTuber raved about the buffet, so decided to try the $69.00 buffet while we are in town and staying at Resort World. I was looking forward to the endless Peking duck. Good thing we asked the price again as it went up to $128.00 or something like that. I could remember as I was shocked by the price. We were informed the adjustment was to celebrate Chinese New Year and they added lobster. I was really not hungry enough for $128++ amount of food. So we decided to do à la carte. We ordered one Peking Duck, Chilean sea bass and string bean. We were going to also order a noodle but the nice server informed us the 2 ways to eat the duck and one of the choice was noodles with extra $22 or so. It was a lot of food and we couldn't finish (we had 3 people). The duck was $110 I believe, the fish $45 ish and I can't remember the price for the veggie. We couldn't finish. I want to love it, but it really was nothing to write home about. I have had better Chinese food elsewhere. They were tasty but just not $280 tasty for 3. Nothing was really WOW... Well I guess that is Vegas price so that is expected. It was a lovely place in a beautiful hotel, the server was very nice and friendly. We were presented with an incorrect bill of other table ($700+), but we understand mistakes occurred especially at a busy place like this. I give 4.5 stars for the beautiful restaurant and the nice and friendly server... 3 stars for the taste of food. If they return to $69 the next time I visit, I might give the buffet another try. If not, there are many other Chinese dining opportunities in Vegas. And don't trust the YouTuber who loves every restaurant they visit... lol read more

Unfortunately the oysters weren't in ice and were warm. All the food was lukewarm/ cold. That really had me feeling a way, honestly. The Fried rice and noodles were good. With the $88 price per person, we didn't know what to expect from our group reservations here other than knowing this was a buffet. It's definitely one of the more unique buffets I've been to because there's only one counter table of foods displayed, so it was a bit disappointing at first. However I definitely understand some dishes as high value, such as the all you can eat snow crab legs and the fresh (not frozen) lobster. There was also whole peking duck meat being chopped fresh and split from its skin was also a detail I really appreciate. PS The snow crab legs are also super easy to eat from, as they are split in half and easy to eat!!! No struggles with trying to break legs apart. It ensures you get all the meat from each leg. The staff are all hardworking, shoutout to them because the service really brought the food experience to a 10/10!!! Victor especially was very attentive to our table. He didn't need to, but gave us plates of lobster to make sure we get moneys' worth. It was handy and we were able to share around the turntable. He later came with desserts and was open to us requesting him for anything!!! We got hot coffees too. Made reservations here online in advance for a group of 10. They got us seated right away and the interior gave a classy and modern look. FOOD: The lobster offered is the highlight. It's steamed and cooked in a creamy sauce. Eating lobster here was nice and the endless snow crab legs (which are cold) were also a highlight. Butter is also served on the side. You can definitely get your seafood fill here. The staff are hardworking and made sure to fill up the buffet portions very often! Expensive pricing, I wish there was more food options offered because the buffet section is quite small. A weird thing was they wanted to make sure we had business casual attire, and even reminded us through phone call to make sure we were aware of the dress code. The site even said no baseball caps, but when we walked in, we saw a guy wearing one and some people looked more for casual setting. Genting Palace was trending with YouTuber and social media's influencers. So I was excited to try out this restaurant. Much to my surprise, the buffet was very limited for a "lobster" dinner buffet. They had mainly cold seafood dishes and hardly anything to offer non-seafood people like me. 5-7 dishes is ridiculous for $67 per person! Their fried rice has hardly any ingredient but just scrambled egg inside. The string beans was cold and plain tasting. Their Peking duck was no stand out either. The lobster was average tasting. What blew my mind was their walnut shrimp/sweet and sour prawns. Who charges $42 for standard prawns?! Only Vegas could trick people to paying for standard dish. Their beef chow mein was $28. The noodles were not served fresh and lacked authenticity in flavoring. So disappointing to have spent almost $400 for a family of 4. If you have the money, go to Chinatown or Ceasar's Palace to get a wide variety of food. They only had watermelon and strawberry for dessert! So cheap. read more

This was the 1st time here and we had a wonderful experience thanks to Jennifer! Jennifer's service was a 5star experience for sure but the overall rating is 3stars based on the food and prices. We came for the seafood buffet but decided against it after seeing the options. Instead 3 of us opted for the tasting menu and the other 3 ordered Ala carte items. The food was all just okay. The stand out items were the Chilean seabass and honey walnut shrimp (both were Ala carte items) the tasting menu dessert was also very good. We ordered water for the table and were charged for 5 bottles of Evian ($10each) without being told we were being charged or asked if we wanted refills our glasses kept being refilled. The restaurant is lovely with a high class ambiance. There were only 3 other tables dining when we were there for dinner at 5pm. If I return it would just be to see Jennifer lol read more

We've only done their AYCE option, but we've done it many times. On their normal $68 weekend AYCE dinner, we've had lobster 3/4 times. Ginger & scallion twice, deep fried with pepper salt once. They were all excellent, but what kept us coming back is their Peking duck. Easily one of the best I've had and I live in SGV (CA) area. The last time we visited them for the $128pp Chinese new year dinner. There were many more items and desserts to choose from. The most notable being AYCE chu-toro and the king crab legs. I can easily cover the cost by pigging out on the excellent chu-toro itself. The sushi was made to order; served by a Japanese chef who absolutely refused to serve his sushi on a warm plate. He kept sending them back, it was funny to watch and I really appreciated him. The overall service and decor were always top notch. Can't get enough of Genting Palace and I hope they never change. read more

Genting was the last stop on the duck tour, and my second favorite. The order: Peking Duck ($118), Dim Sum plate ($28), Green beans ($26), Fried noodles $(38), Mapo Tofu ($28 The duck - wonderful, crispy skin, juicy meat; delicious. Like some others - they did provide you with a second duck dish. Of note - they will prepare ALL of your pancakes for you if you want (we felt lazy that day so we had them do that, and of course they were beautiful!). Dim Sum plate: 4 different types, and as much as I like a good har gow or siu mai. I felt the black truffle and mushroom dumplings had amazing texture and flavor and would totally do them by themselves. Green beans had a nice snap; the fried noodles were also very good, great sauce, so not as dry as some of the other ones we had. I still enjoyed it very much, but not my favorite . However the Mapo Tofu - my absolute favorite of all the ones we had. Great sauce, spicy; loved it! Wine: Wilmette Pinot, complemented all the dishes very well. They actually had the buffet going on at the same time we were there. While we were there for a specific reason - we all decided we needed to go back and try it too! So I think it is safe to say. We've been here few times before when it first opened. Food is always great and the pecking duck dish is our favorite. Today we went to try their seafood buffet. Selections are not as much compared to buffet being served in most hotels but every single dish they have is premium and they are generous about it. We feasted on their lobsters and of course pecking duck. Comes with unlimited drink and variety of desserts. For this visit dining experience was exceptional. AJ and YIN are very attentive and anticipated all our needs. They have acted even before we think we will need something. Review is for the buffet only. IMO a fine dining place shouldn't be doing buffet because it's a mix of atmosphere. Got buffet service for a fine dining establishment. Not a lot of selection in the buffet but the quality was there for the chinese food. The seafood options can be better as there were only cold seafood option. The frozen layer of ice water was still on the crab legs. For dessert, they have a set dessert that they give to the table. There was really no option. Overall my favorite was the duck which really made the food worth it for me or else I would had been dissatisfied. Would had been better if they served the thin crepe instead of the bun. If you want a buffet I would recommend going elsewhere. We came for their crab and duck buffet. It is SMALL! Sooooo be prepared for about 7-8 hot dishes and 5-6 cold dishes. There's nothing wrong with that at all, but when I only liked half the things it made things limited for me. The service was ok, but he never really came over and checked on us. He only offered a refill by the time we were finishing up round 3, so needless to say it was frustrating to flag anyone down. No one to ask for soy sauce, chili oil, or if we could possibly have butter for the crab. The crispy duck and the crispy pork belly are definitely the highlights. The crab was like any other buffet crab. The main dishes that went out looked good, but I'd rather just hit Chinatown for regular dishes. Whomp whomp. read more

What it lacks in choices, the Genting Palace dinner buffet makes up in quality of the dishes served. It might have been the best tasting Chinese seafood buffet I've ever had, especially for the price. Genting Palace is the fine dining Cantonese restaurant in Resort World, located in the Northern half of the Las Vegas Strip. My brother saw an influencer video about their Chinese New Years buffet, where they served mussels with black bean sauce which was raved about. So since some of us were staying at Resort World, we decided to make it our late dinner date on Sunday night (buffet only available from Wed to Sun with Fri, Sat, Sun being the seafood buffet). Traffic was light, so we arrive early and checked in. We got seated near our prescribed time, in a comfortable booth near the buffet station. Genting Palace is beautiful inside, with the place setting and plates giving it a very elegant feel...first time I remember when two pairs of chopsticks are given (one to grab food from the family style plates and one to use to eat), along with a fork. All four of us chose the buffet ($60.88 each), not including beverage (all you can drink wine package is available for additional $40). We just drank ice water which goes great with seafood. It's a small buffet which encourages sampling, and constant turnover on dishes. It's been going for a bit, so thinking they are focusing on the best sellers. Unfortunately, the black mussels dish was not available, but many of the other dishes seen on the video were. Everything was really good. Pacific Oysters - super fresh, expertly shucked, sweet with brininess and perfect with the accompanying mignonette. I'm very hesitant on eating raw oysters at any AYCE, but this turned out really well...probably ate 12 by myself. Sampan Lobster - Maine lobster chopped up in the shell, battered and wok-fried with chilis. Kept really well under the heat lamps, and was often replenished because it was popular. It does require a fair bit of work to extract the edible pieces, so getting meatier pieces when filling your plate is worth the initial effort. Whelks - sea snails steamed and served chilled, without seasoning. Reminds me a lot in taste to conch. Loved that this was available here, and I definitely ate my fill. Raw Scallops on the half shell with seaweed salad - another great dish, with the chewiness of the seafood going great with the sweetness of the raw scallops. Jumbo cocktail shrimp, presliced Snow crab legs - plenty of it, always filled up. Strangely, they did NOT have melted butter. They also had a dim-sum station with shrimp shumai, a bao station (with Peking duck and pork belly as filling), freshly sliced fruits, fried rice, fried udon noodles, chinese green beans with fish cakes and sausage, braised beef brisket, The Peking duck was very good...no gaminess at all, and perfectly sliced to provide the right texture for baos. The one soup (Westlake style minced beef) was really good, like a clear egg drop soup with ground Wagyu beef. I did sample each of them and recognized how good each was, but for me it's about the seafood and any sort of lobster dish gets my undivided attention. Service was good with used plate being cleared immediately, which encouraged a lot of trips to the buffet to get small, controlled portions. Because most of the food required more action at the table before eating, it naturally produced a slowing down effect as I ate....though because I ate the most, I ended up being the last to finish my meal. But as we looked at each other as we leaned back, we silently nodded to each other, acknowledging that we just had a really great (and value centric) meal. read more

I went to try their Lunar New Year Dim Sun (and more) brunch today. It's a pricey meal but it was worth it. I got a call earlier reminding me of my reservation. I had the wrong time on my calendar and she offered to change it which she did. My reservation was for 11:15 and I was waiting on one of their benches at 11. You work in a school all your life, you live by the clock and are on time! AT about 11:10, she looked at me and asked if I was Mr. Kresge. When Is aid yes, she asked if I wanted to be seated then. What a lovely and friendly start to a wonderful brunch. She took me to a regular table which had been set for one person. First, she pointed out the different food stations. The restaurant is a very bright and elegant. Before I went to one of the stations, a server came and asked me what I wanted to drink. You want alcohol, you get it. I asked for a diet Coke and I got that. Then I went to get some food. I did things out of order, but it didn't matter. I went to the seafood and carving area first. I got some braised dried oyster with black moss. I got some shrimp, some whelks, some special lobster, and some pork belly. I went back to my table and enjoyed all of those choices. The second trip, I went to the appetizer area. There I got some heirloom beets with goat cheese and a tomato gazpacho shooter. It made a good small course before the rest was gotten. I went back to the carving area and got some roast duck, a wing roll, some scallops in their shells, and a whelk. Everything was top notch and I used the roll like a Vietnamese banh mi for the duck slices. I also got an abalone dish which was very good. Very tasty. Then it was time to go to the sim sum area. I got a some siu mai, some black truffle lobster dumplings, and a sesame ball. I had to make another trip back and I got some California roll sushi, more siu mai and lobster dumplings, and a piece of Chinese New Year rice cake. One more item was abalone with sticky rice lotus leaf wraps. There were men in this area that had roasted lamb and one who had fresh fish for any sushi roll you'd ask for almost. I also got one meat dumpling After finishing that plate and sitting for a while, it was time for dessert. A red velvet French style macaron, blackberry chamomile custard, an egg tart, and an orange pastry was just right. Service was outstanding. When I came back one time, the rest of my Coke had been poured in my glass and the bottle was gone. This was done while I was away from the table. People working the stations were very pleasant. I heard a lot about the Lunar New Year buffet and since we were in Vegas during LNY, I knew I had to try this over other buffets. The lunch buffet will set you back $128 per person. It is very pricey, but the level of service and luxury does match that somewhat. You can make a reservation on Opentable and prepay. You get to select a table number which meant nothing to me at the time. But you do get seated in their nice booth table options, which is significantly nicer than the tables in the middle of the dining room. There aren't like 200 options like the Bacchanal, but all the options are pretty upscale. There were two sections of the buffet, one in main dining room and the other in the bar. There was a table with some appetizer options. I quite liked the gazpacho, which was a great palate cleanser. The seafood section had a variety - oysters, shrimp cocktail, scallops, and crab -served with 3 different sauces. I recommend the mignonette or cocktail sauce. The green goddess sauce was very overwhelming and rich. The main course section had stir fried lobster, a couple of stir fries, a fried rice, a fried noodle, and a soup. The carving station had crispy pork belly and peking duck, served with traditional garnishes and fluffy buns. In the bar, there is a sushi counter where the super nice and eager chef will make nigiri or sashimi on request. There was tuna, salmon, yellowtail, red snapper, toro, shrimp, and tamago. The sushi was amazing and I wish I discovered it before the other seafood. The other main courses in the bar section consisted of a carving station with lamb chops (served with au jus), cauliflower gratin, lobster bisque, and a variety of dim sum (har gow, truffle dumplings, etc). The dim sum was quite good, but because it was filling, I didn't get seconds. Lastly, there was a center table with a nice variety of desserts. Small enough to be eaten in a couple of bites. I tried one of everything and they were all quite delicious. The buffet comes with a choice of non-alcoholic drink, and you can add on all you can drink to for some amount that I forget. Service was great. Very attentive but not intrusive. The buffet items were filled frequently. Definitely recommend this if you're into seafood, don't mind paying a lot for a very quiet buffet experience. Not worth the hype at all. The ambiance and service is impeccable however, the food was pretty lackluster. The buffet is small compared to what you get at other buffets. As someone who loves oysters, I was so excited for their oyster bar, but I found it very unappealing and weird that the oysters were not on ice so to eat a raw oyster that's been sitting out for God knows how long, and warm was not appetizing at all. The menu states that the oysters are freshly shucked so I was under the impression that they were opened when ordered and not just sitting there in the open. The area that has the hot food was cold although the fried rice and chow mein was great for the amount of money that we spent should be no reason why we are eating cold food. Avoid this place at all cost, unless you really want to pay $18 for a bowl (8 oz) of mediocre lukewarm hot and sour soup beside bland entrees. It was totally underwhelmed and overpriced for a place named Resorts World. 5/5: for decor since they have various shades of my favorite color, green. 2/3: for overall services. Our party of three came in for dinner on Thursday, 12/26. They were really pushing us for the seafood buffet, I couldn't recall if it's $50 or $60 per person. We didn't because the selection was limited and sad: mussel and escargot were on ice, no additional seafood of any kind. Other entries were mostly covered in sauce looking soggy due to sitting out for too long. We asked for soy sauce, chili oil, and chili paste since everything were so bland; we were half way through our food until these condiments came out after we reminded them twice. The place wasn't busy at all between 6-7:30pm. 1/5: for overall food quality and taste. Sichuan Hot And Sour Soup, 18.00, 8oz: they didn't offer big bowl family style to share so we decided to only get a bowl to see if we liked it. I'm so glad we only got one. It's a crime to charge this much for 8oz of mediocre soup, even for a place located inside the casino on the strip! Walnut Prawn, $42: 8 prawns, nice presentation with the dragon fruit. The coating was light and pleasantly soft hints of sweetness, yet lack of outer light crisp. Pea Sprouts, $28: came out overcooked, yet cold at the same time. How ironic! Short Ribs with five spices, $88: no taste whatsoever. Truffle Fried Rice, $36: nice truffle flavored, yet so bland. Honig Sauv Blanc Napa 375, $35.00: they treated us like we have no idea what wine is. The individual bowl to eat is so deep, about 3.25 inch and smaller on the top that it was super challenging to got food out of it using chopsticks. It's such poor design and planning! We understand the traditions of Cantonese cuisine are lighter and simpler in taste, yet, except the walnut prawn, all our food weren't bland and lacked seasoning. This time for a few days, they were only serving a buffet during their open hours of 5-10 pm. The menu was very limited, but the highlight of it was unlimited, Peking Duck and unlimited Lobster. All dishes cooked in mainly, Cantonese fashion. There was a salad there was some fruit, and a few cold appetizers. There were noodles. There was Yang Chow fried rice, and a handful of other dishes. At $88 per person, plus tax, it was worth a try. I tried the Peking Duck, carved at its station and eaten with Bao and fixings of scallion, celery and a thick sauce. The lobster in the shell, was cut up and stir fried lightly to yield tender meat. It came out effortlessly, just with a fork, with no need for shell crackers. While celebrating the 2025 Lunar New Year and my husband's birthday in late January, I heard about the sumptuous Lunar New Year buffet offered at Resorts World's high-end Cantonese restaurant, Genting Palace. However, we rarely indulge in buffets, so I passed on changing any of the confirmed dining reservations made before the short 4-day January trip. Since my husband's taste buds lean towards Chinese cuisine while I like to vary our dining experiences by either cuisine or ambiance, I kept in mind a dining experience for Genting Palace for future visits after viewing their à la carte dinner menu that featured items such a 4-course Tasting Menu, dim sum, wok-fried XO sauce scallops, Beijing duck, American Wagyu tenderloin in black pepper sauce, fresh or live Australian and Maine lobster and Alaskan King crab cooked in choice of 3 preparations, and more. After returning from our January trip, I was happy to discover Genting Palace's extension of its buffet service, which they featured during the Lunar New Year celebrations. We made plans to return to Las Vegas in early April to take advantage of our airline mileage rewards and hotel room comps at the Aria Resort, and we made a dinner reservation to experience the Signature Seafood Buffet on a Saturday evening. The buffet was $68.88, which was surprisingly less costly than other buffets on The Strip in this upscale restaurant. The decor blended traditional and modern Chinese furnishings with seemingly floating lanterns lighting the restaurant, meticulously placed Chinese antique(?) vases and art pieces, and carved wood panels adorning the walls. The table settings included two pairs of chopsticks placed on a chopstick rest and Western eating utensils. On the day of our reservation, one of Genting Palace's hostesses contacted me to confirm our dinner reservation and the suggested restaurant's dress code. After checking in at Genting Palace's hostess stand and being seated, we were greeted and introduced to our server, Yung (sp?). Yung was friendly and smiley and took our cocktail orders before escorting us to the short buffet line. I strolled along the cold and hot items before taking a plate with my selections. The COLD food line-up featured shellfish (oysters, scallops, snow crab legs, and whelks), which were presented adequately on beds of crushed ice, an interesting chilled spicy fish skin salad grabbed my eyes, and platters of fresh-cut fruits and tossed greens. The soup of the day was a rich-tasting chicken-based egg drop soup. The HOT entrees featured several items from their à la carte menu, such as black bean live clams, Sampan lobster or Lobster Cantonese, braised pork belly with abalone, and choy sum with fishcake. Chafing dishes filled with shrimp fried rice, beef chow funn, and assorted steamed dim sum led to the Beijing duck and Cantonese roasted pork belly station. There was a chef who carved the duck and roasted pork belly as each diner approached. I felt so special when the chef assembled my duck meat and crispy skin slices in the steamed "butterfly" buns for me. LOL! My husband, who followed me in line, didn't get the same treatment and jokingly said, "What gives?" The chef smiled and assembled the duck in buns for my husband. We could only make two trips to the buffet line before we were full of flavorful food. Yung showed us the dessert and after-dinner drink menus (not included with the buffet), from which we shared the Mango Sago ($12). We chose this refreshing dessert because we knew it wouldn't be cloyingly sweet or a gut bomb. If we're in the mood for a buffet, especially one that features Beijing duck and seafood, we'd happily return! Instead, what you'll find here is curated, high-quality seafood and side dishes that are clearly made with care and finesse. From the moment you sit down, you are well taken care of. The lobster is fresh, never frozen, and every bite confirms it. The shumai is plump and flavorful, and the duck and pork belly are cooked to perfection -- rich, tender, and full of bold, savory flavor. Honestly, we went through seven rounds before we finally tapped out -- not because we were unsatisfied, but because we couldn't stop going back for more. The Old Fashioned is a must-try cocktail -- smooth, balanced, and a perfect pairing with the meal. And make sure to leave room for dessert -- it's the perfect sweet ending to an indulgent night. I'm not a buffet fan but damn if this isn't a great Strip buffet! High quality Americanized Chinese food. Unfortunately, no castoffs in roasting ovens built up over years of not being cleaned in years means not so good Chinese BBQ lacking smokiness. All good, everything is perfectly seasoned and very well prepared just missing that special something. Yes to the Peking duck that is actually just a really well seasoned roast duck. Yes, to the crispy skin, super well seasoned roast pork with its crispy crackling. For both, skip the "butterfly bao buns" that are too thick and dense. Dumplings aren't the best with thick skins but are inventive and flavorful. Carb heavy dishes are very Westernized and designed to fill you up. Pass. The selling point, the CRAB (Sorry but when you're from Hawaii, it is the selling point). This is the cheapest buffet on the Strip for it. Very efficient service expected on the Strip. Alcoholic drinks not part of the buffet and are extra. All good. Solid value for those wanting a limited buffet but of very high quality offerings when it comes to Chinese BBQ. read more

Genting Palace is amazing! While small, almost every item at he buffet is top notch and made in house. You can tell the team focus on delivering quality over quantity. As someone who lives in a predominantly Chinese area in LA and has access to restaurants that serve high quality Peking Duck, Siu Yuk (Crispy Pork Belly), and Dim Sum, we were shocked about how comparable the quality is. The fact that you can get these dishes AYCE for $69 is an absolute steal given how Peking Duck alone can cost this much (and probably won't be as good) The servers are also very attentive and personable without being in your face, and you can tell that the staff manning the carving station for the duck and take great pride in the food they serve. Even the tea and cocktails are great! The reviews mentioning the buffet being too small is understandable, but as long as you go in with the expectation that this restaurant is a high end Chinese restaurant with a buffet option and not a Las Vegas style buffet, you'll have a great time! read more

Booked on open table for 6 pm more than 1 week in advance @ $68/buffet. On the way to restaurant at 5 pm, we're informed that the price is $88 and to dress business casual. Had no choice but to accept because it was close to dinner time and we were already dressed up and heading to the restaurant. Saw people with hoodies and birkenstock sandals. Food was ok. Service was good. Desserts were not the same as on the influencers' channels....almond cookies and a small tart were offered to us. NOW THIS IS A 5 STAR RESTAURANT!!! My friends and I were visiting Las Vegas to catch the Wizard of Oz at the Sphere and we were able to reserve a table at this Chinese restaurant in the World Resort. This is an Authentic Chinese Restaurant. Their buffet was to die for and the service was superb. Thanks to our Server, Yin. Him and his staff was the best I have ever experienced anywhere. The ambiance was very comfortable, clean and inviting. The lighting was just right. Not too bright, not too dark. I will definitely make sure I return to this place.
