History
Established in 2005.
GenPsych Wayne provides comprehensive, evidence-based behavioral health services for Children (8–12), Adolescents (13–17), and Adults (18+) experiencing mental health challenges. Our multidisciplinary team delivers personalized, compassionate care through structured Partial Hospitalization (PHP), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) designed to promote long-term recovery and emotional wellness.

Meet the Manager: Catherine M.
Catherine Macken, LPC is the Senior Executive Director of Clinical Operations at GenPsych, where she oversees all outpatient, intensive outpatient (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP) programs. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with extensive experience in behavioral healthcare, clinical leadership, program development, and evidence-based treatment.
Catherine began her career at GenPsych as a therapist before advancing into the roles of Clinical Coordinator and Program Director. She has extensive experience working with adolescents and adults experiencing mental health concerns, such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, mood disorders, personality disorders, and co-occurring conditions. She has specialized training and experience in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and has helped support both clinicians and clients in the delivery of evidence-based skills for emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness.
