But people enter these professions for different reasons, and having seen my share of truly crazy (no non-PC pun intended) therapists, Dr. Michelson is a diamond in the rough. She is truly patient-centered - no talking down, no dismissive advice - talking to her is like having a conversation with a trusted friend who really cares about your well-being. So while she is supportive, she will do the right thing and push you to think about areas of your life differently. She focuses on teaching skills in a way that anyone can understand and apply to his/her own life. Add a doctoral training and Dr. Michelson is someone that I trust to not just be a good therapist but a good DOCTOR. I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone I know.

My previous Psychiatrist retired after 15 years of treatment with him located in Briarcliff Manor,…read moreWestchester! I looked very carefully and found Ms. Natalya Meyerson for psychiatric medication management and therapy. She is above and beyond my expectations. She has been published and mentioned several times in Psychiatry and Psycology Today. She is available in person ( my first session ) and conveniently on zoom through video ( follow- up sessions ) . She is empathetic towards her patients , very professional, extremely educated, trustworthy, confidential and readily available for psychiatric medication management. It took me quite some time to find her. I'm very pleased with her services and admire her as my practitioner and provider. I went through quite a large amount of providers through zocdoc until I selected care with Ms. Natalya Meyerson. I'm very fortunate and grateful. Basically to sum it up " No right treatment is right for everyone in psychiatric and psychology but this provider Ms. Natalya Meyerson's care is 100% accurate" in my opinion!

Dr. Kevin hands down changed my life. I'll saw him probably from October 2007- October 2009 when I…read morewas in my late-twenties. He was covered under my insurance and I thought therapy would be like chicken soup--- couldn't hurt! I didn't really have anything specific to discuss. I ended up really enjoying our sessions. It was weird how even though there was nothing specific I came in to discuss, I would leave each session with new tools to handle conflict, work, family, relationships, etc. I remember leaving sessions and telling friends about my "Dr. Kevinisms" because some of the advice was so great. I still find myself often saying, "Emotions are great direction givers in the back seat, but they should never be driving the car." Dr. Kevin is a great listener, incredibly engaging, non-judgmental and very easy to understand. I went in for self improvement, and I achieved it in spades. As he put it to me, his job was to help me "graduate" from therapy so that I would have all the tools I'd need to handle conflict and emotional hurdles easily without him. I give him so much credit for the health of my friendships, the great husband I landed in 2009 and being comfortable being myself. Can't recommend him enough. Just bummed he moved his practice to NJ (boooo). :)

The reality was so much better and I learned that is a result of having found the right therapist, someone whose knowledge I respect and whose experience I trust. Dr Kevin's ability to help me understand my actions provided a framework to change and get better in a few months, not years. He has a vast knowledge ready at hand and a real talent for uncovering and identifying what is beneath the surface. I used to say that I couldn't afford to go to therapy, but now I realize that I couldn't afford not to go. My life is so much richer for the experience.

All she cares about is your credit card number, expiration date and security code. She's in it strictly for the money. She is also frequently wrong. She also pulled me off a powerful anti-depressant so abruptly that the side effects threw me into a tailspin of depression, anxiety and despair. One is supposed to taper off these medications over a period of weeks, even months. She gave it one week. I will never forget or forgive her; she put my life at risk.
