I continue to stand by my original review. If you're looking at finding help I would like to point…read moreout that most of the other reviews are by accounts that have only reviewed Anna Yusim and they are all five stars. They have not reviewed any other business. I also find it interesting that one of those accounts interacted with my review within the last 24 hours. That being said, I would question the truthfulness in those reviews.

This doctor does not want to just prescribe medication like many other doctors do. She truly takes care of my soul. I would recommend this doctor to anybody who is looking for deep healing at the root of the issue, as opposed to just symptom management. And her office smells really nice. I recommend this doctor most highly!

She led me through some of the most challenging life changes I had ever experienced and I came through them with new confidence and insight that has served me since. I've referred 4 or 5 people to Madeline and each of them raved about their experience.

I started my sessions shortly before the beginning of the pandemic, and so the majority of my sessions have been virtual. That's diminished neither the quality nor the connection I've been able to build - Julia's been able to significantly help me with my career and relationships in ways I didn't even imagine. The internal family systems model is certainly unique, but I recommend it to all my friends as a really effective way to get to the root causes of things. There's certainly now a "before therapy" and "after therapy" in my life - and the after therapy is a much happier, healther, and calmer person. Thank you Mindful Psychotherapy!

She's a HUGE fan of the up-sell. Don't go there looking for a psychiatrist because you won't get it. What you will get, however, is her attempt to use TMS, DNA studies and EEG's. They will do absolutely anything to charge your insurance and make as much $$$ as they can. She tends to disappear and, in my situation, when I finally got in contact with her after quarantine, she told me (and this is a direct quote) that she'd "given up on me." She also accused me of missing appointments, when I didn't. I can't imagine *ANY* doctor telling one of their patients that they "gave up on (them)." They also charged my insurance for an office visit when all I did was send in a refill through my pharmacist. They're investigating her for fraud. Oh....and her husband that works the front desk? Worthless. Works with patients far too much and he's no doctor. Find ANYONE else. Literally. Anyone. Find a bum in Times Square to talk to. They'll be more reliable.

We were also familiar with the book, Getting the Love Your Want by Harville Hendrix and Helen LaKelly Hunt, best known for co-creating Imago Relationship Therapy. Laura is a certified practitioner of Imago, blending it with her unique style of facilitation.
