She misdiagnosed me as bi-polar and put me on the wrong medication - Lithium. It was torture. She has done this multiple times with other patients. She also pulled me off a powerful anti-depressant so abruptly that the side effects threw me into a tailspin of depression, anxiety and despair. One is supposed to taper off these medications over a period of weeks, even months. She gave it one week. I will never forget or forgive her; she put my life at risk. Weiner is not qualified to be in a caring profession like psychiatry. She really doesn't care about her patients.

I told him he was wrong but I didn't mind paying him just to start the session. My father had passed away just weeks before and this was my first experience with a psychiatrist in my life of 40 years. Constantly overheard him and his assistant talking shit about other patients. Very condescending in his responses regarding my social anxiety. Reprimanded me EVERY time that I told him that I had leftover medication due to occasionally sleeping in or getting to bed early during the prescription duration. After reaching a satisfactory medication maintenance rhythm and not requiring other therapy, he refused to reduce the appointment frequency and would charge for a full session but only meet for 5-10 min, max. I can't believe I gave this guy so much money for 2+ years -- I've been reluctant to find a new doctor since and that was 5 years ago and have had some really really tough times that I'd just rather bottle than get scammed again.
