Everytime I walk in, it is such a positive experience. The team at the desk, the therapists, chiropractors, and all else in this establishment are just amazing people - not just at what they do, but how they approach you. I originally went in for hip/lower back issues, then shifted to neck and upper back, and within weeks Ive felt as if I shed 20 years (I'm pushing 50..). I have been having chronic neck and upper back pain after having my son in January. I decided to visit Oakland Spine and was very impressed by how organized and thorough everything was. From the doctors going over my treatment plan, to the front desk making sure I knew which part of treatment was next. I came here for acupuncture. The place was clean and welcoming with friendly staff. My experience at the facility was great. The reason I am giving it three stars is because of the aggressive sales tactics that were used after. They called five times leaving multiple messages about follow up appointments within a week. My husband had the same experience when he went for chiropractic services. Clients can make their own appointments and call on their own time when they're ready. A company should not be calling repeatedly. I understand they want business but the multiple calls and messages actually have the opposite effect. read more

I am in the process of receiving therapy for m stiff neck and lower back. These guys really care and are very friendly and helpful. You can tell that the business does an excellent job a hiring positive and upbeat people who work together. Management has built a vibrant and strong culture which you don't see much these days. Woah! Not quite sure what the negative reviews are about because I left extremely impressed. This was my first time coming here and client satisfaction is clearly in their best interest. This review is solely based on my consultation experience since I haven't gotten treatment done yet. First off, the facility is very clean and modern. Love that! Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile and asked to fill out a few pages of paperwork. They told me to help myself to refreshments in the waiting area (apple juice, orange juice, seltzer, and Mrs. Fields cookies). How nice! Within a few minutes, I was taken on a brief tour around the facility and you'd be surprised how many rooms there are for physical therapy, X-rays, acupuncture, and massages. I was given a welcome letter with a mini box of Godiva chocolates (Again, don't know why people would hate on this. Just don't eat it if you're allergic/diabetic...) I thought it was a nice gesture! Met with one of the doctors to take X-rays and go over my complaints. The whole consultation takes about 30 minutes. *Attention* public school teachers, huge perks if you decide to come here. Go here and find out for yourself! You won't be disappointed. Everyone is so easy to talk to and friendly. I'm so glad my friend recommended Oakland Spine to me. After seeing a great deal on Groupon for a massage, I decided to give this place a try. I'm really glad I did. It's clean, bright and modern inside and the staff at the desk were friendly and didn't keep me waiting long at all. I was given a welcome letter and a Godiva chocolate and off to the massage I went with Jenn. Jenn was very nice. We got to know each other a bit as she began the massage and then it was relaxation city! She knew just what to do to make my neck feel better. I felt tense and I can honestly say that I feel so much better after this massage I wish I could do this more often! Overall a very pleasant experience. read more

I went with back issues. It seems its all about the marketing. Very friendly staff but you will receive a formula approach based on your problem. I did not get results and they do not take insurance. So then you are sold a six week or more package for $2,000 or more if you go longer. Everybody seems to get the same thing more or less.When it was apparent that I hadn't been helped the remark was "maybe if you bought another package.My pkg was 3x a week including acupuncture ( not helpful) and Pt (great staff) and about five minutes or less with the doctor. So disappointed. I went in with great hopes. I think I bought a used car. But they keep sending postcards and they are big on the free dinner. Just like timeshares. watch out for the cheap sell tactics. read more

My experience at OSPT is so different from my experiences elsewhere. From the moment you enter the office, there are drinks and little snacks in the waiting area. (I'm talking Vitamin water- not tap water bottled into some plastic bottle). The staff is very friendly and there is never much of a wait time. I've come in for acu, massage, and adjustments- and all 3 were great. Sophia is hands down the best acupuncturist I've ever come across. I am always recommending OSPT to all my family and friends. I do not promote this back stabbing business. I went in to be seen because I have been hit 3 times in car accidents. I have been waiting for a settlement to come in from the lawsuit and they still sent me to collections. Word for word, they told me "When you get paid, we will get paid, so do not worry about payment at this time" All of a sudden I have a levy put on my bank account. Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT go here. I am a severe allergies and have sinus infections for about 5 years. I also carry stress in my neck which led to stiffness and headaches. My facebook friend posted a video on the Wayne location and was satisfied with his sessions, so I made an appoint. The staff is extremely friendly and my consultation left me understanding what my treatment plan would be. I started acupuncture for the sinuses and other things for my neck. I will be honest and testify I started feeling much better after my second session. The acupuncture is working !!! Who knew? The Dr. also recommended body alignments and neck therapies and I am sleeping better. I will be back to give my final review but so far, this place gets an A plus... This a great facility. They are always pleasant and accommodating when scheduling appointments. The staff in the physical therapy area are ALL exceptional, knowledgeable and professional. There is never a worry as to which therapist will work with you on any given day, they are all good. They monitor your exercises program and answer any questions which makes for a comfortable atmosphere. Dr. Joseph and Dr. Steve helped me thru the issues I was having with my back and a hip replacement to regain my mobility and relieve my pain. They truly want their patients to feel better. The facility offers multiple services such as acupuncture, massage therapy, decompression as well as physical therapy for back pain and post -operative surgery. They will coordinate your care with a pain management or orthopedic doctor whatever is needed to get you back on your way to recovery. Oakland Spine goes above and beyond for their patients by not only offering refreshments but running promotional games where they give away prizes like TVs, Show tickets, Cars and gift cards. These things make for a pleasant experience and environment which helps encourage you to keep appointments. I'm closing in on my 12th session at Oakland Spine in Wayne. I couldn't be more satisfied with the selfless service provided by the hardworking staff, PTs, chiropractors & massage therapists. I was hesitant to attend for a variety of reasons mainly due to multiple bodily ailments. I couldn't have been more pleased with the welcoming I've received since day one, and the same treatment I saw was made to all patients coming through the office doors. I'm extremely relieved to have dedicated professionals work consistently to help get rid of physical ailments. It's truly special to feel as if I've become a part of this PT family because they truly care, have big pride in serving their patients with much knowledge & a smile. I don't write many reviews... but I feel compelled to give the entire staff a huge shout out... every person who works in this extremely well run facility is so friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and professional. Besides the amazing hospitable environment that is created there ... the healing is incredible! I hurt my low back last year where I could barely walk and within 14 days I was mobile and well on my way to full mobility thanks to the PT headed by Claudia and her staff. The chiropractors there are so gentle and cautious which I absolutely love because I'm afraid of adjustments but they have never pushed me to do anything I was in comfortable with. Within the last month, my neck became super stiff and little to no range of motion ... so I went back and once again in less than a week I was feeling so much better... all the PT staff are so attentive and listen to your ability and limitation and they customize your PT plan to suit your needs. I love each staff member ... and I need to shout out Stacy for getting rid of the pain in my shoulder blade that has been ailing me for years!! Her hands are magic!!! When I went to Oakland Spine their billing practices are a mess. I gave them a check for them to deposit which they did however months later I received a bill from Oakland Spine. I tried rectifying the situation with them but however I kept receiving bills. When I got my insurance company involved I thought that the situation was rectified however I received more bills and threatening to damage my credit. Again I call my insurance company told them the situation. We contacted Oakland Spine finally the matter was resolved. I received no apology from Oakland Spine regarding their error. It shows that the only thing they care about is money and also I have a letter from Oakland Spine stating that I will not be held responsible for payment. When I was feeling better they continued to push treatment so they can make money. I would not recommend anyone to do business with these people because only thing they care about is not your health but money. Also they had the nerve to contact me on March 31, 2017 to get my business again after no apology. read more

I went to Oakland spine last year after being diagnosed with spinal stenosis and severe pain. Of course they said they could help. For all that are impressed, I was too, with the free drinks and gift items and raffles. The problem lies in the bait and switch billing practices they perform. Promised they would accept what is paid to me by insurance after paying 0ver $1400 down. After I ended my treatments and the checks started coming, I had surgery so I wasn't able to bring the checks to them yet. I started receiving bills for 4 times what the checks paid me. I had insurance requesting payment back to them for incorrect billing from Oakland Spine. I am not being sued for multiple times what I ever received from insurance, and no one cares about it. From charging insurance hundreds for a $27 TENS machine (I actually bought a newer version of the one the gave me for $27 on Amazon. Or the thousands they billed insurance for the back brace that cost me (on Amazon $23). I do no recommend this place, not because of the service, but because of the lies and deception of their billings. read more

I joined the Wayne office in April 2017. After reading the reviews set up on yelp, I have to say: Vincent A., D D., what have you been smoking? Their words are the furthest from the truth. My experience has been nothing short of great. For the idiots who posted that they do not take insurance: again, what have you been smoking?? They do infact take many insurance forms including Medicare, PIP auto, and others. the staff has been great and welcoming since day one. All of the doctors are wonderful, take the time to talk with the patients, and work with them based upon their individual needs. Dr. Joseph, the clinical director, is the best. The staff in PT goes out of their way to make you feel comfortable, and have a great personal touch. Dr. Gus in PT is especially great! Dr. Sophia in Acupuncture is wonderful. I HIGHLY recommend the Wayne office for any needs you may have. They are a business, so all the negative yapping about $$$, well, they are a business. They also need to make money. Would you go to any other business and expect services for free? No, I doubt it. Ignore the negative reviews: I stand by my words. the best chiro office in the area. read more
