Let's admit it, it's a financial investment. First, she pokes me with her "tools" traveling up the body's meridians starting with the feet, moving up the legs, hitting the hands and the belly. Sometimes I joke she purposely pokes my "shut-up" spot because it sends me to la-la land. For space purposes, I will focus on just a few of the MANY improvements my face has experienced: I have wrinkly, lined lips. The top lip is thin, one side being worse than the other. I was trying to come to terms with this unfortunate gene which was passed to me, but Cindy said she could help, and she has! My lips are fuller, as a matter of fact I've heard people whisper, "She's had her lips done". Not insulted at all! Additionally, I'm developing natural, age induced jowls along my jawline, Cindy said she can help, and she has! I actually feel the muscles along the jawline for a few days. It's like they had solid workout at the gym, it's incredible. I won't even go into the eyes, just know that they look young, puffy, line free, bright, and bigger! Gunilla, who was at the front desk, was just lovely and welcoming - I just had to mention this! she was always a pleasure. Anyway, I had my consultation with Taya which was very thorough. It was then that I actually realized how stressed I was. I seriously did not think I was until I answered the questions she had for me. Acupuncture helped me relax and, although it didnt quite relieve my backpains (from office work), it did give some improvement with my sleep and worries. During the sessions, the tables are warm and comfortable and so conducive to sleeping/relaxing. Lights are turned off and music was soothing too. The walls, however, are quite thin so me being a light sleeper, I can easily hear some outside chatter if there are any. And plus when the train passes by, the noise can be easily heard in some of the rooms. After going 1-2x a week for around 7 months or so I could definitely tell my stress levels were getting so much better. I do believe Taya and her acupunctures sessions helped a whole lot in the success of our pregnancy and that we now have a 5 month old baby after years of trying and waiting. FYI - I only went there again after my first time because I made the mistake of getting a "deal" by buying $200 in gift certificates. 1st video - Judy the manager incessantly yelled at me on Sept 12 when there were no customers there, she finally toned down after I started filming this.
