I really want to like Genoa but it's always just average. Service can be hit or miss. There have been times I have ordered and it's ready when we pick up and others we have gone and waited. We stopped here for a light lunch while picking up dinner at Lds for later in the evening. The place is super cheesy Italian restaurant looking on the inside. We decided to share a meatball sandwich because neither of us was super hungry and I ordered it on garlic bread with cheese which is not on the menu but garlic bread makes any sandwich way better. The sandwich didn't take long to get and it comes with a small bag of chips and a cup of red sauce for like $7. The meatball sandwich looked amazing with lots of melted cheese. Wow the meatball sandwich was fuc#ing delicious on nice fresh bread. The meatballs were very tasty with a bold taste and definitely not the all beef style. The added garlic bread and cheese just took the sandwich to the next level. If the rest of the menu is this good than I can't wait to try something else when I'm in the area again. read more

Was staying at the local hotel and this was one of only a few choices that delivered. Nothing to write home about. Just a pizza thrown into a box with no liner and no parmesan cheese or peppercorns. I would only order from here on a must have food basis. The pizza was just okay maybe and in most states, would be considered lousy. Sad showing. read more

Hands down the best pizza place in East Troy, Wisconsin. Their pizza is very good, cheesy, and cooked well. The only downside with Genoa Pizza is the inside, not many seating options. Staying at the local hotel on a Sunday night and this place was recommended by a local. I ordered a sausage and mushroom pizza. I was delivered a sausage and pepperoni. The sauce was bad, very bad. Me and my wonderful man took a little road trip to get ribs from LD's for dinner. We both were a little hungry so my guy found this little pizza place. We ordered a meatball sandwich on garlic bread. Wow it was delicious! The garlic bread was so fresh and the meatballs were incredible. They had such a good flavor, definitely not your average frozen meatballs. Genoa is my go-to delivery pizza. They deliver to our house in Elkhorn which I am super happy about since many other places do not. Recently I had to change to gluten free pizza for health reasons and I am very pleased with the continued wonderful taste they provide. read more

I ordered a medium deep dish Katie's kicker substituting the pineapple for black Olives. I was put on hold and repeated my order. I arrived to pick up my pizza and they asked if I ordered the "Katie's Kicker" with pineapple substituted for black Olives, which was the opposite. They buffered to remake my order. Due to have driven from Waterford, I took the pizza due to hunger and lack of time (8pm on a Sunday). When I grabbed the box to leave I noticed the pizza seamed very light in weight if what a medium deep dish woukd have weighed. When I returned home and ilopened the box, I did not have a deep dish. Long story short... Went to pick up order, cashier said the person who took order over the phone should have explained the deal of the day. Deal was buy one pizza get one free. Because we ordered 2 different sizes, the deal didn't apply. Cashier gave us a menu, and said "here is so you are aware of the deals because we do not have a website." Nice gesture by the cashier. Called an hour later to inform the manager of the situation and commend how the cashier attempted to resolve the situation. The manager told the girl over the phone that she's too busy To take my call and I need to call another time. In an area such as East Troy and Mukwonago, where pizza parlors aren't on every corner, you would think customer service would be top priority. I have been ordering from genoa's off and on for about five years now. I always end up giving them another chance but now I'm officially done. The place is dirty and going downhill fast. The last two pizzas I ordered were a cheese pizza large and a sausage and mushroom pizza large. I asked the worker for total because I was having it delivered. at first they told me $25.59. then they changed the price to $27.59. I thought the price was rather high so I asked them to send a menu along with the order so I could check the prices. when the delivery man came I had my son pay him. I had $31 ready for The quoted price and delivery tip. when the driver delivered the pizza, I didn't get a menu and suddenly the price was down to $22.50, giving the delivery driver $8.50 as a tip. I wouldn't order pizza from them unless I had a menu and check the prices myself. The pizza is not that good and it's not worth getting ripped off for. read more
