So lucky to have such a wonderful place like Zumpano's in Burlington!…read more Came in right before 9:00pm to grab a quick "closing time" drink and told them about our terrible experience at a local downtown restaurant (we sat for 2.5 hours and never received the dinner we ordered). The kitchen at Zumpano's was supposed to close in less than 5 minutes, and Tasha (the bartender) insisted we can (and should!) still order dinner! She checked with the kitchen staff and they said "of course" and happily made pizza, pasta, and apps, and even the complementary fresh bread without hesitation. Our order was ordered and in front of us in less than 15 minutes! It tasted delicious as always! The new interior looks fantastic, the new bar space is incredible, and the food and staff were amazing as always! Could not reccomend Zumpano's more! A place like this makes me wish I could give more than 5 stars!

Pros: -Good pizza…read more-Nice staff -Easy parking Cons: -Underwhelming steak sandwich -Some items over-seasoned We recently tried out Marty's Pizza on Mother's Day because it was my MIL's choice. She has great memories from going to a different Marty's location for work lunches years ago. Apps: -We started our order with some of the mozzarella sticks, which my wife and MIL liked (I'm not huge on breaded mozzarella sticks, so I didn't try them out). Mains: -Pepperoni pizza (Wife)-- really good thin crust pizza -Spinach lasagna (MIL)-- over seasoned to me, but my MIL seemed to enjoy it -Steak Sandwich (Me)-- not great, one little slice of overcooked, thin steak with some cheese. It also came with a cold side of fries. Overall, I would stop back in for pizza but probably would probably skip for anything else.

It had very mild flavor with thin piece of cod. It didn't seem to be homemade more likely purchased that way and just cooked on-site. The baked cod came out very hot in the dish it was cooked in. The seasoning had very mild flavor. The potato pancakes were good but again not homemade. They provided a nice serving of applesauce; that had very good flavor. We both liked the coleslaw. It was made with diced cabbage that was seasoned well. Our server did a good job. She was very attentive and provided refills of our beverages without being prompted. We love the facility. Nice large bar, both high top and regular height tables inside. Also a large outdoor patio with another bar, tent area with tables, and more tables on the open air part of the patio. They also have live music most weekends.

When I ordered I even said no pickles. I do NOT like pickles and all the pickle juice on my plate or sandwich! Well the sandwich came and it had Thick Sliced Pickles. It always ruins the meal for me. It's always SO loud there. It will be a while if we decide to return.
