I just found this listing today and called him for more information…read more I read his "About the Business" page, and he states that he's a Novi taxi company. I called him because I live in Novi, my car is down, and I need a ride to Henry Ford hospital Thursday morning. I called him to find out if he could do it, and he told me that he doesn't make local runs. If he doesn't do local runs, then he should not say that he's a Novi/Bloomfield cab or taxi service. That would be false advertising. I regard that as unprofessional. If he no longer does local runs, then he should state that he does not do local runs.

I had to return to Michigan for a funeral and was looking for two SUVs to transport my family throughout the day. DTW Detroit Airport Car was the first to respond, the least expensive - several hundreds less, and the most communicative through Yelp, text, email or phone. The drivers were great, professional and helped our family in a time of need. Next time I need vehicle transportation while in Michigan, I would contact them first!

Will whom I see is mentioned in at least 2 of the other 9 reviews this company has was simply amazing!! He was prompt, courteous, and went above and beyond to accommodate me and make the ride a wonderful experience. I reached out on the same day I needed a car from a business trip to the airport and without hesitation Will instantly set up the order and assured me the car would be on on time. Will picked me up himself, the car was clean, the 1 1/2 hour ride was AWESOME and I felt pampered. I could not ask for more and being from NYC I know first hand that a cab, Lyft, or Uber ride can be a nightmare if you select the wrong company or unfortunately get the wrong driver. I will only use DET Elite Transportation the next time I am in the area. I highly recommend them and especially Will for his courtesy and for making my experience a great one.
