Uber and Lyft are almost non existence in the area. I sent a request through this website and within 10 minutes i got confirmation that my order was accepted. He even watched my flight to see the arrival time as there were weather delays and kept me updated. The car was very clean, comfy and spacious and he was very professional. As a woman traveling alone at night, i felt safe with this company.

I also booked transport for my brother and his new wife post reception all the way out in rural DeWitt. They were on time and flexible with a few changes - really making things easier for the newlyweds. Definitely going to plug these folks into my phone for next time I'm back in EL/Lansing.

I called at 3:35am to make sure someone was on their way and iCab said they didn't have my reservation and no one could get to me in time for us to get to the bus. We missed the bus (which Michigan Flyer credited to a future trip, thankfully!), and our only option to get to DTW was to take a cab, and iCab was the only company that had someone nearby. We ended up paying $125 to get to DTW, and I was furious. Lesson for the future: Look at Yelp reviews first and make at least one confirmation call or make them send me an email confirmation.

I just found this listing today and called him for more information…read more I read his "About the Business" page, and he states that he's a Novi taxi company. I called him because I live in Novi, my car is down, and I need a ride to Henry Ford hospital Thursday morning. I called him to find out if he could do it, and he told me that he doesn't make local runs. If he doesn't do local runs, then he should not say that he's a Novi/Bloomfield cab or taxi service. That would be false advertising. I regard that as unprofessional. If he no longer does local runs, then he should state that he does not do local runs.
