Recently visited for a special event in their events room - the catered food wad DIVINE! Cute event room, but wish the bathroom was closer. Quick, friendly service! read more

I am so excited to have a nice dining option in Brandon. Genna Benna has all the atmosphere you are looking for, great service, and pretty good food. Did I mention that they have a full bar! For appetizers, I would recommend the crawfish empanadas if you want something that will fill you up. If you are looking for an appetizer that is full of flavor but on the lighter side the tuna poke is delightful. For a main course I would recommend the seafood pasta. I have not sampled enough of the food to recommend other dishes yet. One last word of caution, don't let the parking situation deter you. More than likely parking will be a bit of a challenge, this DOES NOT MEAN that the restaurant is too full. There is a lot of seating in Genna Benna. Downtown Brandon has a lot going on: the Black Rose Theater; the SpeakEasy (yes you need to check this out as well); a charming local coffee shop and several local shops. read more

Super shrimp and grits that I didn't need a to go box! Take my advice and go try them. My wife had a really delicious chicken and pasta!

Been to Genna Benna's several times. They have lunch specials depending on the day of the week. Pretty decent menu overall, with enough variety to satisfy most anyone's tastes. Had to call from the front desk for someone to seat us several times. Sticky floors made squeaking sounds while walking to the table, which was also nastily sticky. Music is one of the Sirius XM Classic Rock stations, not really a great background for a relaxing meal. If they were to take care of these little things, then I would certainly rate it much higher. read more

Food and service we AMAZING!! I would definitely recommend giving this place a try! The ambiance is so nice! It's very reasonably priced as well! read more

Great local place for dinner. Always accommodating could use more parking. Short wine list but good choices...def a great local spot.

I love Genna Benna but I have to say they annoyed me tonight. There is a torn paper sign on the door announcing a 3% service fee on all checks for rising costs. This is not a cash vs. credit fee this is just a fee. If costs are rising raise your prices don't add a random fee. Good food, good service, poor management. Not sure when I'll go back. read more

We ordered shrimp basket and spicy shrimp Po boy. It came with fries and was absolutely delicious, will go again.

Service is so sweet! Food is good but I got sick when I went there maybe because I ate too fast .. It's not the best food ever but I recommend getting something new each time! It was good but not my fav.. read more

I love the food here. My server last time was Alyssa, and she was fantastic! Super nice, friendly, and gave great service! Definitely 5 stars! read more

Ordered takeout. Black and bleu burger (not much taste or flavor), kids cheese burger (not much taste as reported by my son), a children's chicken Alfredo (good but the portion was extremely small and did not come with a side) and a pork chop. The pork chop was overcooked and did not have much flavor. The side of mushrooms were good. Not many food options in Brandon. Will drive into Jackson next time as the bill ended up being $60 after the person delivering the food to the car asked for a tip. read more

Best food I've had in a long time. Their Mac & cheese was AMAZING. The ribeye was so tender. I am blown away. Definitely choose this place if you're trying to decide what to eat in Brandon. I loved it!! Will definitely come back. read more

Genna Benna's - Burgers Near Me - Brandon, Mississippi

Always has fantastic food and drinks! This is a great spot in downtown Brandon! Try Georgia Blue in Flowood too!

The food is good, not necessarily great but few places are. The prices are reasonable, I like the atmosphere, and the staff. It is a regular place for us and it will continue to be. I like it, well except for that one time when there was a big, noisy, party going on and they didn't invite me. read more

Food was good but misleading. "Skewers" means one. I thought a $15 salad was a little expensive to have only one "skewers." Mentioned it to the waitress but no effort was made to correct it. Rest assured these were not jumbo shrimp either. read more

The food was very good. Nice downtown area. pivots we're huge. The brownie was delicious.

The food here is always good. They have the best pan seared redfish and chicken tender platter. The service depends on the size of their crowd at the time. Big crowds greatly affects their service. We have had several good meals here and only a couple of times had a bad server but we realize that happens everywhere from time to time. read more

Great place for home style food. I don't get to go here often but I love the entire Georgia Blue restaurant family. Delicious food and fantastic service. read more

First off, let me say, it's nice for downtown Brandon to have a place like this. Although parking might be a little troublesome on a busy night, don't let that deter you. The downstairs area is really well done and is a must see while waiting on a table or even for after dinner. For dinner, both the BBQ Shrimp and Grits or the Porterhouse Porkchop would be excellent choices. You can't go wrong with either one. Also, if you are feeling like dessert, the beignets are some kind of delicious. read more

This is a cool spot for supper in a historic building in downtown. If you like old architecture and history this spot adds it to a strong menu and live music. I had the ribeye which had a nice rib with a hint of spice. Others in my party enjoyed the pork chop which is huge and the grilled chicken salad. The pecan bread pudding lacked sweetness and there was no hint of pecan but the playing was gorgeous. We were in a private room in the back and there was no music piped in so the ambiance was a little flat. All in all a place I will visit again and experience the dining room next time. read more

Amazing food, friendly service!! Sat quickly, great atmosphere recommend 10/10 clean environment

It's a hit and miss with this one. Sometimes the service is great and sometimes they act aggravated you are there. People need to listen more. It's not cheap to eat here so servers need to pay attention to the details or find a job they enjoy bc we are big tippers and expect delicious food and good service when you pay for it. read more

Our first visit to Genna Benna's was great. We were seated immediately and the service during our meal was fantastic. I recommend the BBQ Shrimp and grits. The spinach dip appetizer was also a highlight for our table. For dessert we had the pecan bread pudding and the red velvet cheese cake. They were both wonderful. This is a great addition to the growing downtown Brandon area. We will definitely visit there again. read more

Staff is always friendly and helpful! Food is great, every time! Selection/menu is plentiful & location is prime!

Good food with great prices. They have consistent service and food and daily specials.

Food could be a little better for the price but overall a great atmosphere. I would go back. The service was excellent.

First time in Mississippi. I was apartment hunting all day and stopped in here with my mom for lunch. We split the shrimp platter and beignets. The food was great! Will definitely be coming back here when I move out there in July. read more

Arrived at 12 noon and they were out of lunch special. I asked for hamburger steak. Was served small dry and burned on one side. Service was fair. read more

I have been in this restaurant several times and I have never been disappointed. The food taste great, and the service was fast each time. I cannot say enough good about the servers! read more

Love the Cilantro Salad! Always great food and service. The employees are the greatest!

My food was amazing but the service was terrible. Took over 20 mins just to put in our order and the place wasn't even busy. Messed up the order, then took over an hour to fix it. My brothers pork chop was very under cooked. We notified the server and she asked if he wanted a new one but after 2.5 hours, we just asked that it be taken off the bill and we left. Staff was very unorganized and the manager didn't seem to care at all. I hope it was a one off, but didn't have a good vibe. read more

Do yourself a favor and stop by. We had the shrimp and grits, fried catfish, & fried okra. This was the best meal i sat down and had in a long time. read more

The atmosphere is very nice. The appetizers are very good and you can have a cocktail or beer. The main course lacked in my last visit and could use some improvement. read more

Nice tucked away location. There is not much parking in front of the building, but there is additional parking across the street. We were attended too swiftly and the appetizer came out quick. The food was very good. I had the seafood pasta (Shrimp and crab) and my husband had the catfish with bacon & andouille sausage cream. read more

One of our favorites in Brandon for lunch or dinner! The menu is small and unique. The staff is friendly and the place has just got a cool vibe. Even our kids love Genna Benna's read more

It's "pretty good" for me I really enjoy the Swiss and mushroom burger but that's all I've really had that I really enjoy. It's a fun place and always have good service and if I'm in the mood for a burger this is my place! read more

The food was decent. The wings didn't appear to be smoked and fried, just fried but was an 8 pc order. The burgers were decent in taste and size. I had the Philly cheeseburger and a bUild your own. The kids chicken bites were great! read more

Excellent food. Great service, which is hard to say these days with everyone needed staff.

Greeters and server were professional polite and patient. Being our first time , we were unsure as to what we wanted . The server took the time to explain how the items we had in question taste . She greeted us with a smile from the time we sat down until the time we left and checked on us throughout the dinner to assure we did not need anything . The place was clean and comfortable for the most part (it was kinda too cold for our liking , next time we will take a jacket ) . The atmosphere was cosy lights at the perfect level of brightness but not too bright , the music playing in the back ground was just right as well as far as song selections and pitch . The manger came out walked around and asked each table were we ok , a set of extra eyes are always great . read more

Love going here because the food is always fresh and plentiful! Staff are friendly and they seat you far apart from others due to covid. They also have paper menus that are disposable! If you want a treat after your meal, walk next door to their bakery. We usually get that to go because we are too full after eating at the restaurant. read more
