    They pile the noodles high!
    Mark A.

This is a nice spot to create a custom plate of really hot and fresh noodles. There's plenty of options but I wish they sliced the green onions and cilantro a bit more . The single bowl is easily good for two meals.

This place has some of the best Mongolian BBQ ever.. The ingredients are always fresh- both meats and veggies look, smell and taste wonderful. I absolutely love the sauce options, I always get medium AND spicy, lemon juice, garlic and all the other things they add to make it perfect- saucey noodles are what I come for! The portions are nice and hefty, I appreciate that. The restaurant is tucked in a nook, but was very clean and well kept when I went today. 7/30, a little after 11am, the lady helping us at the register was sooooo kind, happy and sweet, she took extra care of us! Will absolutely come back!

This is my childhood so this place gets a nostalgia factor boost HAHA They keep everything nice and clean (except the bottom of the tray can get a little sticky...) The flavors differ depending on who is pouring your sauces but overall for the price point (~$15) in this economy, I think it's a solid choice! Make sure you pack that frozen meat down to get the best bang for your buck ;)

    Perfect for a rainy day!

My man G.K. knows how to... Throw a dinner party... Host a lunch date... And if you're down for noodles at 10 a.m. ... Hook you up with a mean Mongolian Style Breakfast. This self serve, all you can fit in your bowl, Mongolian Style eatery is one of the newest food court options here at the Westfield Topanga Dining Terrace. It's simple: pay for your bowl, pack as much frozen meat (beef, chicken, pork, turkey) that you choose and top with as many veggies as you can stack high. At the end of the line, the staff will get you the sauces, mild/medium/spicy along with other options to make your bowl delish... They will add your bowl of goodies to their cooktop along with their Mongolian style noodles, or rice if you pay the difference. Now watch the magic happen! The cook with prepare your meal right in front of you and within minutes, you will be enjoy your handy work that you just stacked sky high. I've been here twice now and it's definitely a fan favorite already. Welcome to the neighborhood Gengis Khan!

Wrong order. And the place wasn't busy.

I ordered a build your own bowl with a plethora of vegetables and meat and noodles and all I received was meat and noodles in my order that was a pick up order

    So bomb!

Wow this spot was a definite yes! So freakin delicious! It's a restaurant inside the topanga mall so it's a little busy but worth it! My co workers and I were amazed of how thick the noodles were! They were as thick as a pencil lol! Not really but close! The ingredients were very tasty and the seasoning and sauces were perfectly made. The service was quick! And they gave a good amount of food! Definitely worth it.

I love Gengis Khan soooooooo much! I've waited for the day that the topanga location opened up and the social media account was nice enough to send me a message as soon as it opened! It's awesome they have the combo meal for $16 and some change you get a small drink, side of rice, soup, and your meal! I stopped by for lunch and it was a great decision. The service is quick and the spot is very clean. You get to choose any meat, veggies, seasonings you'd like. It's very fun and you know exactly what's going into your food! I definitely recommend and will mentioning to everyone that they're open!

I had the noodles with pineapples, baby corn, beef, bean sprouts, and chestnuts and it was beautiful. Highly recommend coming to this place. Super quick and delicious.

Want noods all day this is the to go place for yummy egg noodle with any choice of meat and veggies that you can fit all in a bowl or hanging off your bowl to be exact. Love the help from the cook when they add sauces to your bowl after adding all the noods. May I have it spicy! Yes please! Prices are higher from what I remember but still same good taste.

The staff had more polish than the room, and honestly, they are the reason I would come back. They make the whole experience feel more inviting than the décor has any business allowing. So yes, the interior feels like it was decorated by suspense. The Sweet and sour chicken hits the spot, without being over-flavoring. The chicken pieces are a good size and they are well-fried. The pork chops were perfect too! Not overly salty. The beef chow fun was great too! The yang chow fried rice was a bit salty, but eating it with everything else was fine. If there was less salt in that fried rice, it would have been a perfectly good dining experience. Anyway, I would recommend this place. It is good.

Most of the takes are round which is the best for group dining and conversation. On top of the round table, each one came with a lazy Susan for easy sharing of dishes. The staff was super friendly and attentive which is great. The menu is basic and easy to read with a simple layout but nice options. So why three stars? Well the food was hit or miss on this day. It was the first time I've eaten at hot wok. But others in the party frequent the restaurant. One person ordered the sizzling rice soup and said it had been better on other occasions. For the tale we ordered a pork dumpling starter, which was fine. Our main dishes were the orange chicken that was good. The kung pao chicken that was bad. A tad dry and flavorless. Ma Po tofu for a vegan eater which the said wasn't the best representation and for some reason the kitchen didn't add onions to help it be vegan. We had vegetable chow fun noodles that were good. We had sautéed green beans that were sautéed with ginger and not garlic which weee bad. You add it up and there's your three stars. I'd eat there again but be more directive on how I'd want the dishes done if possible.

We had another Chinese food choice and afterwards, we wished we had chosen the other place. This restaurant is a dumpy little joint located in a truly gross strip mall. That being said, there were plenty of people eating there, and people getting take out. So, for the area, I guess this is considered one of the better places if you don't feel like driving far. They had a new item - NY style egg rolls. As a New Yorker ex-pat, I take these very seriously and look for them all the time. Unfortunately, these were chicken. You know things are going wrong at a Chinese restaurant when the egg rolls and pot stickers are chicken instead of pork. Clearly catering to people who are not Chinese food aficionados. The egg rolls were edible but in no way good. The pot stickers were meh and the size of gyoza rather than potstickers. We got the chicken with garlic sauce and the kung pao shrimp and begged them to make them extra, extra, extra spicy. As in all non-Asian areas of town, the waitresses' eyes went wide as if we didn't know what we were asking for, but she said okay. Sure enough, both dishes came and were not only not at all spicy but completely bland. I mean super, duper bland. It has nothing to do with my rating or my meal, but watching a family at the table next to us trying to eat mu shu pork and not knowing how to eat a simple age old dish like that was somewhat frightening or amusing or both. I don't know. It was like watching a train wreck in slow motion and I was captivated. Anyway, bottom line is I actually like Americanized Chinese food and even crave it sometimes to mix it up from the standard SGV authentic stuff. This just is not a good place and reminded me of all the horrible Chinese restaurants I tried throughout LA when I first moved here from NYC back in 1994. Can't recommend. Don't go.

I was worried the selection wouldn't be that good, especially for the sushi, but it was decent. They had eel and squid nigiri, and for sashimi they had tilapia only. No poke. There were a lot of different rolls though, so I was happy with the selection. They also have a good variety of hot bar items as well as a teppanyaki area where you can choose your veggies and meats and they'll cook it for you. Some of my favorite items were the beef and broccoli, fried shrimp, steamed fish, and stirfried mushrooms. I didn't eat much of their dessert, which was limited, but I had a lot of fruit. They had pineapple, orange slices, grapes, and honeydew, all of which were super fresh and sweet. My friend enjoyed their ice cream. They also have a chocolate fountain where you can dip marshmallows. I tried it and it was fun, but the chocolate tasted kinda meh. My friend and I were happy and absolutely stuffed when we left. That means Mongolian beef, my usual in basic old-school Chinese places like this. I chose won ton soup over the seafood soup choice. The broth was fine, but the won tons were thick and doughy. Not great. The beef seemed of a decent quality, but was absolutely floating in oil. This made the green and white onions too soft and mushy and dripping with oil. Ditto the very messy foil wrapped chicken appetizer, but the egg roll was okay, if bland. There are plenty of excellent choices for all types of Chinese cuisine in the Valley. No need to come here. Again though, remember I only had one dish, but I have an idea it's indicative of the entire menu.
