Absolutely loved the chicken inasal! The meat was tender, smoky, and packed with flavor. It had the perfect balance of savory, tangy, and slightly sweet. Every bite tasted fresh off the grill. Highly recommend! I If you miss Filipino food, give this a try!

Wow, what a great place in the valley. I was very satisfied with the chicken inasal. The skin was crisp and delicious yet the meat was still juicy and tender. I ordered a batchoy soup on the side and it had generous servings of pork and noodles in a delicious savory broth. I was more than satisfied and will definitely come back again to try their other menu choices. Service was great and clean white tables were wiped down after each customer.

I love this place sm. Bbq, chicken inasal, liempo, and sisig are all consistently good. Authentic Filipino food. Cures homesickness. They always include calamansi and sili in every order. Wish they had regular bangus and regular pansit bihon.

When I came in, I had already seen the menu outside to kind of guess what I wanted. I walked up to the register, the person working there greeted me and asked for my order. I ordered a few items. The lumpia's were ok, the batchoy was pretty good with decent amounts of meat and liver, and I'm glad I got the pork skewers! That is an awesome plate of goodness, well seasoned, flavored, and grilled! The inside is small, but big enough for the restaurant's needs. It is clean though. Get the grilled pork skewers!

I really had hopes with this one because I love grilled chicken. We ordered the Chicken Inasal (Chicken breast) and Liempo. We had to wait 15 mins for our orders to be ready. Chicken Inasal has generous portions. However, the chicken didn't have any distinctive taste even with soy sauce and calamansi. Same thing with Liempo, great portion but it missed that delicious taste in them and it was quite dry.

Heck yea!! This place is great! Friendly staff, fresh food (not salty) and piping hot! The fried fish (bangus) was the best I've had. The eggplant omelette and beef soup were also delicious! The halo halo was awesome! There are so many more things to try. Can't wait to go back.

I give this place 5/ 5 no doubt. We have been ordering here often times with DoorDash and i thought might as well check this physical location. It is a small hidden location and parking is limited including street parking. But it was all worth it. This visit did not disappoint. Hospitality was great 5/5. The flavor of each dish we ordered was 5/5. I'm blown away the savory and consistency of their food. Inside is not as wide, they have comfortable tables and chairs, well lighted and home chill atmosphere. They deserve a visit and expand this place. I got the chance to meet the amazing chef that blessed the food with her magical touch. And I also met the owner and thank them both for the amazing food and service. This place deserves to be featured more out in the open. It is worth every bang of your buck

The food was good. I was expecting the chicken inasal to be smoky but it was not. The flavor was there and it's cooked perfectly. Other dishes were fine and savory. The pancit was a little oily but it had great flavor. Service was great and the food came out fast and fresh. The place has small dining area but if you're early enough, you'll get a table. It's not your typical restaurant. You will need to order on the counter and they will serve you your order. It's more like serve yourself kind of thing.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Bacolod Chicken Inasal in Winnetka, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The star of the show, of course, is their chicken inasal perfectly marinated, incredibly juicy, and grilled to smoky perfection. Every bite was packed with authentic flavor, especially when paired with their garlic rice and dipping sauces. I also have to mention their bangus steak, which was absolutely delicious. It was cooked just right, tender, flavorful, and balanced with that signature tangy-savory profile that makes it so satisfying. It's definitely something I've kept ordering again & again. I actually order from them frequently through DoorDash for home delivery, which is always convenient and tasty, but dining in person is a whole different experience. The restaurant itself is very clean, welcoming, and has a warm, homey feel that really adds to the overall enjoyment of the meal. What really sets this place apart is the authenticity. You can tell they stay true to traditional Filipino cooking methods, and it shows in both the taste and presentation. The portions are generous, and everything came out fresh and hot. The staff were friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome the entire time. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable, making it a great spot whether you're grabbing a quick meal or sitting down with family and friends. If you're craving real Filipino comfort food, this place is a must visit. I'll definitely be coming back for more! 10/10

I called in to order the Bangus Steak, Longsilog, and Chicken Breast Combo, and everything was fantastic! The food tasted fresh, flavorful, and had that comforting homemade quality that makes you feel like you're eating a home-cooked meal. The place itself is neat and cozy, with just a few tables and chairs--perfect for a casual dine-in if you're in the area. They also have a great selection of Filipino dishes, so there's definitely something for everyone to enjoy. A big plus to their service--Frank and Jane are so friendly and accommodating, which makes the whole experience even better. If you're craving authentic Filipino comfort food, Bacolod Chicken Inasal is worth checking. Will try the Batchoy next time:)

My first time in and it was a good experience. We tried the bbq pork, the soup, and lumpia and it was all good. I enjoyed the flavor of soup the most but it was a lot of meat, too much meat, more meat than noodles like 70/30 lol. Very cozy, no frills, small restaurant with very friendly service. Small shared parking lot.

Stopped by here after Malibu beach camping and the food was very good. We met the owners and they were very nice and attentive. We bought food to eat there and take home an would stop by again if we were in the area.

We came to visit the San Fernando Valley, and my aunt was on a mission to find the best hopia with lots of variety -- and wow, did this place deliver. They have all the classic favorites: ube, mongo, baboy, yema, pandan -- and every single one was absolutely delectable. Each piece of hopia feels like it was made with love. The texture is just right, the fillings are generous, and the flavors are rich without being overly sweet. You can truly taste the quality. Their bibingka galapong with cream cheese is another must-try -- warm, creamy, freshly made, and incredibly comforting. It's the kind of treat that makes you close your eyes for a second just to savor it. And then... I saw Jerry coming out with freshly made chicharon -- both with laman and without. Oh boy! I immediately ordered a packet. Crispy, flavorful, and perfect to pair with vegetables or just snack on by itself. The place is clean, well-organized, and they even offer catering. Pricing is very reasonable for the quality you're getting. Plus, they offer website ordering, so you can send hopia and other goodies to family anywhere in the United States. Hopia, bibingka, and chicharon here are definitely a must-try. If you're anywhere near Winnetka, don't miss this spot -- you'll leave happy and probably with a box (or two) in hand!

I don't live nearby, but I was craving Filipino food. So I bit the bullet and ordered through Doordash, even though it cost me what a full tank of gas costs me. But the inconsistencies have to be mentioned once and for all, so that you can use it to improve. First off, does somebody not taste the food when cooking? Look at my photos and see how gorgeous the food appears. But the palabok had no taste, except for bad taste. As in, no flavoring. Did the cook forget to add the most important ingredients and seasonings? And then there's the tocilog. Everything was perfect; except for the tocino, which is the superstar of the combo?? It tasted old and gamey. What went wrong? I don't know. I'm being generous with the 3-stars, because I am hoping this is just another one-off. However, more than one one-off is no longer a one-off. It's your business practices. Please help me give you a better rating, I know that when your food is good, it's really good. But you need to be consistent. It only takes one visit for a first-timer to never return. As well as for a repeat customer who knows they have other options. I just spent $50 on two dishes that I can't even eat, and I'm not being dramatic. Read my reviews and see that I'm usually generous with my reviews. But I'd like for you to continue to thrive. Good luck and please don't hate me!

I say "dependable" because they serve up the typical Filipino favorites, including breakfast combos. You can also order party trays like I have in the past when I needed 150 pcs of lumpiang shanghai quickly. They always have a good selection and really everything tastes good. My usual faves are Bicol Express, any of their Adobos, Menudo, Mongo, Pork Sisig, any of their breakfast combos, Tortang Talong, Lyempo, Kare Kare, and Lechon Kawali. We don't have many options in this neighborhood, so we are fortunate that the one Filipino restaurant we have nearby is actually really good. And they are consistent! Something other Filipino restaurants tend to struggle with is consistency. This is why they are our dependable Filipino restaurant. And I hope they stay forever. I noticed this place on the drive up and made a mental note to try it--and post-hike felt like the perfect time. Kusina Ni Kuya is located right next to Cajun Ni Kuya, and they share the same dining area. The Kusina Ni Kuya side is more of a traditional Filipino *turo-turo* (point-point) setup, where you choose your dishes cafeteria-style. I went with the **beef sinigang**. I was initially planning to order two entrees, but after seeing the generous portion they served, I decided one was plenty. While eating, I noticed trays of Cajun-style seafood boils coming out to nearby tables--interesting to see, even if it's not really my thing. As for the food, the sinigang delivered. The broth had a nice, balanced tang--sour but not overpowering--and it really hit the spot after the hike. Simple, comforting, and satisfying. **Why 4 stars?** Very solid food and portions, but not quite a standout experience that pushes it into that must-go, 5-star category. **Overall:** A reliable spot for Filipino comfort food--especially if you're coming down from a hike and want something warm and filling.

We placed our order and sat down. The place was clean but everything seemed like it was do it yourself. The boys were thirsty and there wasn't an option for water on the kiosk, so I called one of the cooks from the back to pay for a water and he rang me up. It was pretty rough in there. Once our food was ready, one of the cooks brought our food and I wasn't really feeling my meal, which was the dynamite crawfish bowl. I didn't like the sauce it came with. I just picked at the crawfish and left the rest. As for the boys meal, the fried chicken adobo bowl was REALLY good!
