Solid spot for Vietnamese food. We like to be a bit leisurely for dinner. Wanted to enjoy a few beers, but they wanted us to order so we ordered quickly. Keep in mind the food will come out fast so if you are ordering multiple dishes you may want to space it out. All was good, not like in Vietnam but that's ok. Pho was solid, proper sauces right there on the table. Ban Xeo was as not as thin and crispy as I like. The banh mi was a pleasant surprise. It's all about the bread and theirs was pretty good, especially at only $11. Spring roll was good with lots of peanut sauce so made me happy. Beers do not show on the menu on line but were $6.50 each. Metered parking in front for $2.50.

I love Pho & been to many Pho places... this might be one of the best ones I've been to! The Pho broth was so good and the Fried Spring Rolls were very delicious too! I ordered the #6 PHỞ TÁI CHÍN BÒ VIÊN Beef Noodle Soup with Beef Meatballs, Brisket and Rare Steak! Yummy! Small clean restaurant but it was packed! Amazing service and clean bathroom! I will definitely remember this place next time I'm in the area and craving Pho! One of the best!

Was looking for a place to have Pho and crispy tofu and Pho 21 offered both. The crispy tofu was just ok and basic compared to others I have tried. The shrimp spring roll was heavy on greens and overtook the roll. The Pho was good and the broth was very tasty. They did not skimp on the meat at all. Service was prompt and the staff was very friendly. They seem to do a lot in take out have and loads of regulars.

I ate at Pho 21 for the first time recently and I'm sad I'm only just getting around to it! It was so good -- and that's saying a lot coming from someone who grew up in the OC with a plethora of amazing Vietnamese spots to choose from. My mom ordered the Bánh Xèo and I had the seafood pho... incredible. Warm, hearty, rich broth -- truly so well done. I'll definitely be back! My daughter had a shrimp spring roll and loved it too. This place is a super solid Valley option for Vietnamese food and easily one of my favorites nearby to date!

I Heard about Pho 21 and I am happy that I was able to try it. The pho was Amazing!!! The broth had very good flavor and the chicken was seasoned so well. My top 3 pho places in the valley now. I also ordered the ginger wings that were very tasty and much flavor! I recommend ordering! The service was very good and attentive. Exceptional customer service and provided good options. Really fast service as well. The ambiance is nice inside and clean with cute decor! The menu is very large and so many choices. *Note* they are closed on Tuesdays -Marshay D.

Stopped in for a non soup plate of Chinese broccoli chicken over rice. I gotta say it was exactly what I was craving. It satisfied the palette and was cooked to a great taste. This place is always busy and the kitchen is delivering the goods.

Great little place, absolutely everything was fantastic here. The quality of the pho with steak what's really good, and I could tell the quality of the meat was excellent. The other two I just reordered were the egg roll and the spring roll, all which were very good. All tasted fresh with plenty of flavor. Definitely a return customer here!

i appreciate the extensive vegan/vegetarian menu here! overall, very solid options, but haven't found my standout dish here yet. the tofu spring rolls are great and a must order! as for the vegan pho with vegetables, i found it a bit bland and wasn't a huge fan. the bun bo hue with imitation beef was more flavorful, but i think they could still add more spice and acidity! parking is in the back, and service is fast and attentive. i'm sure i will keep coming back!

Brought relatives in recently and they have already returned twice! There's something here for everyone in your family....beef, seafood, chicken, duck, fish and even vegetarian and vegan! We have loved everything wr have tried and still havent tried it all. This is a great weekly/bi-weekly destination. Bon appetit!

Can't believe there's nice Vietnamese restaurant in this area! I came to Pho 21 recently and walked away pretty impressed. It's located on a busy street, but you can find street parking on the cross streets. There's also a small parking lot in the alley behind the restaurant. When my friend and I came for dinner on a Sunday evening around 6 pm, it wasn't too crowded. We were seated immediately. The menu has many pages and offers a diverse range of options for Vietnamese food between noodle soups, vermicelli and rice dishes, as well as stir fries. There's also two full pages dedicated to vegan/vegetarian options. We ordered the fried spring rolls ($10) to share and each ordered our own entree. I got the #17 bun rieu with snails ($14.95) and my friend got SV2 vegetarian noodle soup with deep fried tofu ($14.95). We absolutely loved the spring rolls. One order comes with 6 and we killed them. They were perfectly crispy and the filling inside had good flavor. We both enjoyed our noodle soups as well. I was expecting more in my bun rieu like tofu or meatballs, but I think the way they make it here is different from what I'm used to. Still, the broth had really good flavor, and I really liked the snails that came with the soup. My friend enjoyed his vegetarian noodle soup as well. It came chock-full of veggies and tofu. I think we've found our new favorite Vietnamese spot in the valley! Will definitely come back again.

Again, again, and again, this place serves great Vietnamese food. The pho is perfection. We also ordered a side dish that was excellent. We really like the people here, we will continue coming back here as often as we can

My new favorite pho place!! Although located in an odd spot the restaurant is clean and has tons of options for everyone. The service was amazing, the waitress was kind and accommodating and even helped me pack up my coconut to go. We also sat, ordered, and got our food all under 15 minutes and loved every bite of our food.

Ask the Community - Pho 21

Do you have vegan egg rolls?

    Yes, we do.

    Anyone know if they're open?

Sadly, they are closed. I tried calling several times until I finally drove there and saw the sign on their door saying they were closed until further notice. I wish they'd update their website though. Or even Yelp.

Are any of the soups vegetarian?

Yes. Click on the "Full menu" link. It will take you to Pho 21's website where there is a "Vegetarian and Vegan" section.

When are you guys reopening? I've been checking Yelp for over a week and it still says you're closed for special hours.

Came with a friend for dinner Thursday evening around 7:30, and we were the only ones in the restaurant for a while. Eventually another group came, but it wasn't busy at all. It's located in a shopping plaza with plenty of parking. The first thing I noticed after perusing the menu is that prices were very affordable. Everything on the menu was $16.50 or less. A bowl of pho costs $15, which isn't bad in this economy. We split #2 chicken sticks ($6.95). Usually chicken skewers are cut up in chunks, but they do sliced chicken skewers here which was super odd to me. It wasn't particularly flavorful either. Hard pass on this. For my main, I got #28 pork banh mi ($8.50). This was the star of the meal. The bread was crispy and the pork very flavorful. They don't skimp on the pickled veggies either. One minor complaint - I asked for my banh mi with no jalapenos and cilantro, and I'm not sure where that got lost, but my banh mi was served with everything. Luckily it was easy to remove before eating. My friend got #14 chicken vermicelli ($14.50). I'm pretty sure the chicken they use is the same as the chicken in the chicken skewers, so needless to say it wasn't good. The shrimp was delicious though! My friend was pretty disappointed by this bowl as 1) the chicken was underwhelming and 2) there was too much noodles and not enough protein.

A more diverse menu than some of our other faves... and I kept seeing that they are famous for their "#53 House Special Deep Fried Cornish Game Hen Marinated in Oyster Sauce" (CƠM GÀ NƯỚNG DẦU HÀO). This golden beauty has a crispy exterior, and is plated on a generous bed of rice. Not "broken", but still delicious! Drizzle some of their nuoc cham over the rice and chicken for a little extra magic! Order first because it needs a new extra minutes to prepare. We also ordered the House Special Imperial Egg Rolls (CHẢ GIÒ). True confessions, I'm usually judgy when I see egg rolls with the smooth wonton style wrappers rather than the bubbly, blistery rice paper wraps.. but these noble egg rolls won me over regardless! The shrimp and pork filling was well seasoned and delicious! I couldn't decide between trying their pho or the Vietnamese udon noodles.. since we were feeling adventurous, I went with the BÁNH CANH TÔM, CUA, GIÒ HEO at our server's recommendation. It was tasty, had decent shrimps and even a real crab claw! The broth was a little mild until I added some of the juice from the fresh lime wedges and that awakened the flavor! The udon noodles were perfectly bouncy and we devoured the bowl! For a little something sweet; we ordered a Che 3 Mau to go. Our thoughtful server offered to pack the crushed ice on the side so the dessert wouldn't get too diluted. It was refreshing and hit the spot! Our decision to come here was a spontaneous pivot, and we're so happy to have found this little gem! We will be back!

The beef itself was flavored but wasn't too tasty, nothing the fish sauce helped with either. After the meal, I also enjoyed a cup of Vietnamese Iced Coffee, and this stuff was STRONG. I'm no stranger to this drink, but the coffee itself was fairly bitter and concentrated - more than normal. The condensed milk? Almost felt like a quarter can, too! Even after diluting it (through their ice) with half water, it was still too sweet and bitter - do not recommend. Paying was fairly easy, but it was through Zelle or cash - awkward!
