Haven't been here in a while due to our last experience, but decided to try it again. We were not disappointed, service was great (thank you Kyler) and the food was great, cooked just the way we like it. Even though prices have gone up, it was a good value for what we got! Will be back soon! read more

The service was really good, and the food is always really great. The Frisco location is no longer there, so this is the closest one to my house. We really love this kind of food, the taste is amazing. read more

Whew food was delicious! The customer service was exceptional, and the vibes of the place were quiet and clean being that I came first 30 mins of opening. Highly recommend as someone who isn't from Dallas and has never had Genghis before. It's the cleanest food we've had since being in town & good of you if wanting to make healthier choices. read more

Really old off color meat, I didn't eat it to be safe. And their sauces are so thick. Eat at your own risk!!

I used to love eating at Genghis Grill but after eating at this one, it has reaffirmed my suspicion that they seem to be going downhill from when they first opened. The table we were out at seemed like it was hastily cleaned. Definitely could've done a better job. There was only one waiter and unfortunately for him, there was a small rush when I showed up. He took his time going from one table to the next taking drinks orders and then finally came back around for food orders. The selection of food was decent although the broccoli and mushrooms could've been replaced. They looked like they had been out for awhile so I bypassed them. When the drinks and meal came, I noticed that our bowl was chipped, the cups were chipped. For the prices we are paying, surely they can keep up with their dishes and throw away anything that's broken. Overall, I was very disappointed and my daughter and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Sadly, that may have been my last visit to a Genghis Grill. They used to be one of my favorites too. read more

Food is good I like ghengis grill. Nothing special though. Price was really high for the quality of food. The entire restaurant smells like sewer as soon as we stepped inside the whole place was generally kind of sticky and not very clean. Every plate we were served was broken or chipped in someway. Service was terrible with a rude manager, and it wasn't even a very busy night. read more

The food always tastes great & I love the concept of the restaurant. The service on the other hand is AWFUL! My husband and I frequent here and have only had 1 good experience service wise. They lack skills of kindness, attentiveness, and general social skills. They typically ignore the table, don't refill drinks, & this was the 3rd-4th time we have come to this location and they "lost our ticket(s)" read more

Mike was my waiter for lunch. He did an awsome job at taking care of us. He took time help clean up the mess when toddler threw in the floor and didn't complain at all. read more

I love Mongolian food, and for the most part, this place does not disappoint. They have gotten pretty expensive lately though, and for the money, I feel like it's not up to par. I didn't feel the place was as clean as it used to be, and the way you are served now changed a little as well from last time I was here. You walk in, they seat you first, then you wait for someone to come over and bring you a bowl. The person bringing the bowl has his hands all over your bowl, they you need to build your food and use that bowl. I'm pretty good at stuffing the food into my bowl, so I was able to build a nice sized meal. Once you stuff you bowl with meat and veggies, you drop it off to the stove and take a seat. There was nobody ahead of me, so my food should have come out pretty fast. After the gentleman cooked my meal, it sat for a bit, which freaks me out since I am very conscious of people breathing around my food. Overall, once the food arrived, it was delicious, and I left full and pleased. I just feel like a place like this should have all of the kinks ironed out by now. Will I return? Yes. Will I crave this place? Yes. Will I complain if its the same as it was? Probably. read more

Love this food spot! It's a little hidden from the road but happy we found this gem. The food is delicious and it's great having the option of creating your own bowl or ordering one from the menu. I enjoyed the strawberry margarita which was refreshing & mixed well. The service was excellent and very friendly. read more

The food! We could not eat the fried rice! It had strange chewy skin mixed in which had to be thrown, & couldn't get past a funny odor to the dish. Plus old veggies mixed in the other dish that had started changing colors. Won't be returning! read more

Great food, always fresh, staff is always amazing and the restaurant is always clean,........

Service here is great. It can be confusing on what to do. But they help you. Place could use some sighs like go this way. Food is outstanding. Wish they had side large bowl for vegetables and med size for meat. Can be pricey. Got two large bowls and check was over 50. Place had a sit down area. I tend to get my food to go. Sauces are confusing. It would be great if they had three main choices to choose. read more

Can't comment on the quality of food because we left after getting the lunch menu and cost. Review is on the overall value. We recently moved back to Texas and were excited to go to Genghis again. "Used" to be a fave! Good food, great value, and a get exactly what you want experience. Not anymore! $17 for a ONE trip medium bowl that was smaller than a fast food $8 Panda bowl.. $1 extra for an egg!Fried rice base wasn't more but doesn't the egg make it fried rice???Anyway, we left! read more

Excellent food , great cook, the server was great. This was my first time so I wasn't too sure how to go through the line but it turned out to be pretty good. read more

The young man that assisted us was excellent. However, the restaurant need to be inspected fast. We went to the meat section and it had a bad odor. It smelled like death and I explained this to my spouse. I could not tell if it was the chicken or seafood or both or the restaurant. We proceeded through the line, had the food cooked and ate. Hours later my spouse and I were fighting for the bathroom sick to our stomach. It lasted for two days. Mind you, we are in Allen due to a business conference! This location has taught us a valuable lesson. Stop eating out. Restaurants are not properly managed, hire young people that don't care just there for a check and management is either missing or too young to care what is going on. read more

Always get great service at the Mckinney location. We always have a great experience eating at Genghis Grill for our family dinner.

I always love a good Mongolian grill. Like most, they have good selection of protein's, veggies, and various sauces/condiments. Once you've filled your bowl as much as you can, they'll make it right then and there for you. You can choose from white rice, brown rice, or noodles to round out your bowl. They have a couple size options based on how hungry you are. Staff were friendly and service was quick. read more

I'm leaving five stars SPECIFICALLY for Yvette. We came in at 9pm because google said they closed at 10pm. We are fast eaters and knew we would be done well before then. When we arrived we saw a server we've had in the past and enjoyed; however, upon entering, he very harshly greeted us with "we're closing in 30 minutes", in a loud tone. We were very surprised as that had not been our experience with him before. We replied with "oh okay, we can always take it to go". He walked away and Yvette sat us and let us know that they DO in fact close at 10 and to take our time. She was very friendly and polite, and made sure we were attended to the whole time. We still offered to take our food to go and she said no, to please enjoy and not to worry. She was on top of refills, and bless her soul, she even tried to not accept the tip I gave her. She was humble and easily gave us some of the best service we've had in a long time. Overall the food is always good so we will still be back. read more

We went here on a Sunday lunch time around 12:15pm. It was not too crowded, but it was definitely understaff as the service as slow or was not attentive as they did give us our food, but forgot about the waters. It did start to pick up however at 1pm. Anyways you can do a custom bowl which I did for a regular for $12.99 and then create your own bowl which is more expensive, but heard you can pile up the food. I ordered the fried rice bowl which had chicken, beef and shrimp. The meat it self was dry and over cook and just had a dry feeling to it. My wife create a bowl was much better. But yeah the food comes out slowly and usually for a Mongolian grill food usually comes out really fast even though it is made fresh to order and can handle crowds. We did ended up waiting for the check for 30 minutes and then my nephew mentioned we were here for awhile waiting so I ended up going to the cashier and paying for the bill which ended up being around $130 with tip. We ended up paying around $13 to $15 dollars per person. read more

Place doesn't seem very clean, dingy and the air doesn't feel clean. Staff doesn't seem too prepared or quick to react. Table is extremely wobble and when when we pushed it up against the wall next to it the wall clearly wasn't anchored. Not very many people so seating on a Friday night was quick. They have sweet alcoholic drink options and beer, but nothing else. No wine! It's unfortunate because my husband loves to eat here. read more

Where do I start? Under staffed I am not sure they even know what an Egg Roll is. The buffet to make your bowl was questionable in terms of freshness. The food and service was amazing! The service was great he always made sure to check on us and get anything extra we may have needed.

Quite possibly the worst meal I've ever had. Ordered through Uber Eats. Ordered the orange chicken bowls with udon noodles. They were less than kids size bowls. Not exaggerating...it may have had 8 or 9 noodles in the bowl. Were they out and just didn't feel like making more? The chicken was the worst quality. Way over breaded with tiny pieces of mystery meat inside. Added egg rolls to my order. Those didn't even arrive. If I bring this back, can I get my $36 back?? I'll include free delivery. Beyond disappointed. I used to love Genghis Grill and took my family there for years. read more

We had an excellent time at Genghis Grill. Michael was one of the best Waiters we have ever had. He was attentive, friendly and welcoming. I would recommend Genghis Grill. 10/10 read more

Shout out to mark at The Eldorado location, service was amazing, he was very accommodating. food was also amazing. definitely coming back!

My son and I went for lunch today. There was only one person in the restaurant eating but it took about 5 minutes for anyone to come and greet/seat us. 3 employees in the bar were just talking. Once we finally sat down, the waiter did not seem friendly and was kind of rude. We went through the line to choose our items and the cook began to grill for us. He had a long beard and was not wearing a beard net at all. I watched from the table as he sneezed a few times and played with his beard with his ungloved hand. The employee in the bar also had a long beard without a beard net. These people serve food and drinks and hair could easily fall into our orders. This is very nasty in my opinion and I don't think longer beards should be allowed as as an employee of Genghis Grill as you are working with food. I will NEVER eat there again read more
