I brought a bunch of golf clubs to be regripped and one club that needed to be rebuilt. I brought the equipment myself. Ultimately, I paid Alpine Shop a ton of money for this work. Below is a list of complaints I have with this business. 1.) Couldn't follow simple directions on how to set up my clubs. 2.) Over probably 5-7 transactions with Alpine Shop, received 1 follow up phone call telling me an order was completed. I always had to call them to check on whether the work had been done. 3.) Every time I did call to check on my own order, it felt like it took them forever to actually locate it. In one instance, they literally could not tell me the order status. 4.) The club I had built...the clubhead detached from the shaft at the driving range. Literally, I had to walk 75 yards onto the range to find the clubhead. The shaft was fully in tact...no composite failure. I am fortunate it was early in the morning so no one else was in danger...much less my own safety. 5.) As if ^^ isn't enough, the damaged club, once repaired, is so sloppily put back together, I need to take it to another shop to have it fixed. There is glue all over a $200 graphite shaft...it's absurd to be so absent minded when you are fixing a mistake for a customer. In all of these suboptimal customer encounters, not once did James show any sense of remorse or accountability. In fact, the first thing out of his mouth was whether the shaft broke and a simple, "I'll go do it again". The nonchalance and entitlement are actually astounding. The last thing out of this associate's mouth was "I hope it stays on this time". I sure hope for the sake of Alpine Shop's reputation in the VT golf community, it doesn't come off a second time.

I was told you could have one available in about a week. Your store took my measurements and contacted me when it was ready. Thirty-five years later I still own and ride the same motorcycle. Thirty-four years later I still wear the same leather jacket I bought from Champlain Leather in 1991! I have put over 110,000 miles on the motorcycle crisscrossing the country wearing that jacket. The leather has held up against the elements. The liner is still in perfect condition. The only thing that did not last was the zipper pull. I am not surprised to see you're still in business with the quality of your products. I live in Arizona now, so it is a little difficult to stop in and shop. I found a style of boots that I would normally pay $150 for and Danform had them on sale for $60. I also found a pair of Merrill's. I didn't feel pressured at all by the sales staff. They gave me ample time to figure out what I wanted and then they were quick to ring me out. Penny took the time to measure my feet and they found the correct size for me. I was surprised to find shoes on sale that fit me. So often I get into a shoe store and nothing on sale will fit my feet.
