I brought my 23 Subaru Forester to these guys for rear brake job and oil change…read more A few days AFTER, no leaks from oil change, no smell of burnt oil no leaks on my driveway so that went well!! Brake job so far is doing well. No noise, no brake pedal vibrations. Parts were OEM pads and rotors. I brought it here because they had good pricing! And obviously quality work too! Dropped off my vehicle and work was done sooner than originally quoted which is a good thing! I paid for what was quoted with no hassles or any sales pitches which I appreciate! The gentleman who greeted me when I first came in right when they opened was pleasant and actually looked like he wanted to be there very easy to talk to and straight to the point. I know where to go now for other car related issues.

On April 21, 2025, I took my car to Auto Stop because it was leaking oil. I had been using them for…read moreoil changes and had always been happy with that service, so I trusted them with this repair. They diagnosed the source of the oil leak, and because I have an extended warranty, I went through the warranty process and authorized the repair. Their labor rates exceeded what my warranty would cover, so I paid the difference out of pocket. Unfortunately, this is where my experience went downhill. After the repair, my car continued leaking oil for more than a year. I brought it back multiple times, and each visit resulted in another attempt to fix the problem, usually by adding more gaskets. It became clear that they were taking shortcuts rather than properly diagnosing and repairing the issue. At one point, I discovered they had even stuffed rags around the oil pan. After several unsuccessful repair attempts, Auto Stop finally admitted they could not fix the problem. To make matters worse, during the course of their repeated repair attempts, they damaged the upper oil pan. Their only recommendation at that point was to take the vehicle to the dealership. That's exactly what I had to do. The dealership corrected the original oil leak and repaired the additional damage caused during Auto Stop's failed repair attempts, leaving me to pay for work that could have been avoided. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Auto Stop. What should have been a straightforward repair turned into more than a year of frustration, repeated trips back to the shop, additional damage to my vehicle, and significant extra expense.

I used Yelp to put a blanket request for the Sacramento area, and Stress Free Auto reached out right away! I was able to take my car in first thing the next morning and was greeted in such a friendly and warm way. Knowing they had a few jobs ahead of me, they called a niiiice Lyft and made sure I got home free of charge! From there the communication was excellent. There were continual texts that provided information about their progress not only with searching for the main problem, but also a general overall inspection of my vehicle. Once complete they sent me an estimate, I called to coordinate which things I wanted repaired/addressed, and they sent over a finalized quote that I signed immediately. It was quick, informative, and quite literally stress free The main problem was a cracked exhaust manifold. Seems like an extensive repair, right? Well, they let me know later that afternoon that they were done! Amazing same day service! Absolutely incredible. It's been a month since the repair and I haven't had any issues. So, in my book, that's a job well done! The only small gripe I have is the cost. Again, it was same day service, so it's understandable that I might have paid more than I would have at another local shop, but they did offer a discount on the initial inspection cost. Some other shops roll the inspection cost into the cost of repairs, but unfortunately Stress Free doesn't do that. Plus, a couple of suggested repairs were somewhat of a laughable cost. If memory serves, they quoted me around $60 to replace wipers. I'm not sure if it was a quote for all 3, or just one, but I spent $15 on a wiper on the way home and installed it myself. Whatever, they are trying to make money! Despite my small price gripe, I will be using Stress Free in the future for any vehicle concerns I have!

Prices were much more reasonable in comparison to dealership. I was informed of the costs prior to any work being done. This is my second time trusting stress free auto with my car. They did a wonderful job on my break repair service last year. I was kept updated and informed of their work progress. I would encourage them to continue with the updated communication to customers as it does help ease your mind. I would recommend this business.

Really great spot to get your car detailed and an oil change all in one…read more My dad showed me this spot on a Saturday. Pretty busy but line moved quick. After about a 30 minute wait the worker here was under the hood of my truck working on an oil change. They don't go under the vehicles here but instead through the cap of the motor sucking out the oil with a machine. You bring your own oil and filter and they do the work here for $16. It came out a lot cheaper than other places and I don't have to worry about them stripping the oil pan screw. They were doing a great job detailing cars here and I asked how much my truck would be. $50. For the inside and out. I plan to go back and get a detail and oil change when I need one.

There are other hand washes in south sac but they pass them though a car wash so idk what they mean about that lol. They have specific open hours but I feel like that changes. There's been Saturdays I've came at 2pm and no one's here (they close 3pm Saturdays) so I've you're coming on a weekend come early. As far as pricing they used to have prices posted for cars and trucks but now they only do for sedans/cars. $17 for exterior. Very dirty extra $, Vacuum trunk extra $ Truck / SUV / VAN says check price but there is non listed . They do good hand washes. I normally run through quick quack on my daily and hand wash my Mustang but there are times I'm lazy and come here instead. They always do a good job and never miss a spot. For the price it isn't bad since it's the only hand wash. As previously said the hours are tricky sometimes. I've came time and they've been closed on their normal open times.
