My nails look so great! So bright and clean inside and my technician was very sweet! My nails were in bad shape before I came in but after a little polish, they're brand new!

Basic pedicure

I had an okay pedicure here the other day. It was really rushed, probably in and out in 15 minutes- at $35 I expect more. They did the bare minimum: cut your toenails, exfoliate, lotion, paint. I think $20 for the experience I got would have been more reasonable, and I wanted a longer, more relaxing experience at that! Kind of a rip off, I will not be going back.

Manicure

Sandy did an excellent job on my manicure. I am from Canada and have had some pretty bad manicures while in Framingham on other visits. Salon is clean, prices very reasonable, quick service. I used to own a nail and esthetic salon in Toronto so am very fussy about my nails. Well done! Thanks Sandy.

Terrible place. As you can see in the picture, they did a terrible job on the manicure. I felt so rushed and the person who did my mani-pedi was too busy talking bad things about other customers and workers. She even was on her cellphone talking to someone while doing my manicure! When my manicure was finished, she was too busy moving on to her next customer and did not even seat me to the drying station. I had to ask her what was going on then she asked other technician to move me to a drying station for her. At the drying station, I looked closely to my manicure and it was terrible. I dont know if she was the manager or the owner but a lady asked me if everything was okay so i showed her my manicure but they just over topped my manicure which was already thick enough. So now my manicure was five layers think and would not dry. TERRIBLE job and will never return. EDIT: when the technician was doing my manicure she asked what shape i wanted. i told her square-round and she laughed at me with a customer who was sitting next to me and said "you mean straight line with round edges?". YES THATS EXACTLY WHAT SQUARE ROUND MEANS. Ive never been questioned when i tell my technicians i want square round shape.

Technician had an attitude. Told me if I wanted longer nails would be $5 extra while the woman who sat next to me was never told so. Cut me, ugly job and not the shape I wanted.

Skin around edges not cleaned :/

Upon walking in, the toxic fumes of the place engulfed us. The ladies doing our nails were nice, but they were in a very big rush. We went in for dip nails and they came out atrocious. They didn't trim our hangnails or the dead skin around our nails. They didn't clean up our cuticles or nail bed before starting the manicure. It was such a bizarre experience because of how fast paced and unorganized/untidy everything was. They painted our nails with absolutely no care whatsoever and did not ask what shape or length we would have liked them to be. A month of nail growth was completely cut off without being consulted. They also used the electric nail file on our cuticles to the point where a nail started to bleed after the appointment. We came in for a nice, slow paced manicure and left with nail conditions worse than when we started. Complete waste of $45 for a less than mediocre nail job.

What was supposed to be a routine facial turned into one of the most uncomfortable, disappointing, and frankly shocking customer service experiences I have ever had. From the moment I walked in, something felt off. I was greeted by Jackie, whose demeanor immediately came across as rushed and irritated, as though my appointment was an inconvenience rather than a scheduled commitment. I tried to brush it off and assume maybe it was just a busy day. Unfortunately, things only went downhill from there. Before starting the service, I clearly explained that I wanted a facial. I repeated myself more than once to make sure there was no confusion. I even asked if what I was requesting was possible, and I was assured it would not be a problem. That reassurance turned out to mean absolutely nothing. During the appointment, I noticed that and I noticed scars (that I later found out were PERMANENT). I politely pointed it out, thinking it could easily be corrected. Instead of listening, Jackie dismissed my concerns and insisted that everything was "normal." It did not feel normal. It felt careless. At one point, when I asked for something as simple as some lotion for my hands, I was met with visible frustration. Jacqueline actually sighed and responded in a tone that made it clear I was being perceived as difficult simply for asking a reasonable question about my own service. I have never felt so uncomfortable advocating for myself in a professional setting. The worst part, however, was the final result. What I specifically asked to avoid scars, and dry skin is exactly what happened. It was the complete opposite of what I had described. I left the appointment feeling embarrassed, upset, and genuinely stunned at how little care had been taken. When I tried to express my disappointment calmly at the front desk, the situation only escalated. Rather than apologizing or offering any form of resolution, I felt subtly blamed for "miscommunication." There was no accountability. No empathy. No effort to make things right. Just defensiveness. Customer service is not just about performing a service; it's about listening, respecting boundaries, and treating clients with basic courtesy. At Skintique, I experienced none of that. I experienced dismissiveness, poor communication, and a level of unprofessionalism that I honestly did not think was possible in a business that depends on repeat clients. I rarely write negative reviews. In fact, I usually give businesses the benefit of the doubt. But this experience was so deeply disappointing that I would feel irresponsible staying silent. I would strongly encourage anyone considering facial here to think carefully and ask very detailed questions before committing. I left feeling worse than when I walked in -- and that should never be the outcome of a service that is supposed to help you feel confident and cared for. I sincerely hope management takes this feedback seriously. No client should leave feeling unheard, uncomfortable, or regretful. One star is generous.

I know that's probably TMI but it's relevant to this review. I've been a LOT of places to have waxing done, and Dre really just made a client for life. The other places (locally and non) are fantastic and I'd recommend them to anyone... with that said - for me - Dre was fantastic. She didn't rush, she took her time and really explained to me what works for my skin. She told me NOT to come back until the hair had grown in... even if it's longer than the "normal" time I'd get services done. What small business tells you not to come back? I can really see why all the folks on here have given her 5 stars. She uses a hard wax which actually hurts way less than the strips you get at most salons. It also leaves your skin less irritated and red.
